"I stayed here on a solo trip. Perhaps because I stayed on a weekday, there were few other guests, so I was able to use the shower and sink smoothly without having to wait. Every area was clean and the amenities were plentiful, which was nice.
The male staff member was very polite.
The only thing I found inconvenient was that the lockers were small. There is a place to store large luggage in the shared space, but I wish the lockers and locker space were larger so I could organize my luggage."

An inn on the shore of Lake Biwa in front of Omi-Maiko Nakahama Beach - Topia Onsen
"Location was great, next to the lake. Owners were nice.
Place was ok to stay considering the price.
The biggest issue is that wall are super thin and if you a light sleeper like me - you might have a problem :)"
Enjoy the relaxation that the seasons bring between the mountain foothills in Shiga. A relaxing detached house in an old Japanese style
"The response of the woman was very good and the scenery location was good!
It is a very tasteful facility, and in winter, Natsu Kamo Nabe can stay in large numbers such as barbecue."
All rooms have lake view. The quiet lakeside hotel.
"I stayed for sightseeing in Hiei Sakamoto.
Since I live in Osaka, I'm used to seeing Lake Biwa, but when I stand on the shore of the lake, I can feel the wonderfulness.
The night view of the city on the opposite shore (Kusatsu or something?) was beautiful at night.
The building is quite old, but the room is super clean!
The chairs and washbasins in the bathroom were smooth, the toilet folder was shiny, the dryer cord was wrapped cleanly without any madness, and the bedding on the bed was really comfortable.
Speaking of cleanliness, the star 5 is not enough at all. I've seen the perfectly arranged room for the first time in a long time. Access to the inn is accessible by bus from Otsu station as well as from JR Karasaki station or taxi.
Although the number is small, you can arrive in 3 minutes on foot from the nearest bus stop (Ishikawa Town)."

Amazing
TtorislimThe first time I lived in the orthodox squatter house, I was pleasantly surprised. The house is very distinctive. The sister of the hotel will not communicate with the translator because of the text but has been communicating with the translator. The breakfast is delicious. Everyone must order breakfast in advance. There is also a vinyl dish machine in the living room. It is very nostalgic and sentimental. Otsu is really a very quiet town, and on the last day of 2024 I spent a very peaceful day here.
GGuest UserThis time we stayed with 6 people. It's not a big house, but I was grateful for the sufficient number of rooms and the cleanliness above all. The corner 々 was well cleaned and I was able to use it with peace of mind. I was able to contact the owner by the day and ask what I didn't know. Thank you for your kind response. Thank you very much. ※ Uber eats was also available and there was Lawson nearby. The nearest station also has a big supermarket and a stub.
気気分屋笑和It was used for business, but it was said that there was a public bath, so I wanted to take a bath slowly after work, so I made a reservation.
This was a more comfortable space than I expected, with a sauna and an open-air bath, and the food in the facility was delicious.
Breakfast was easy, but it was attached and I was able to relax enough.
I would like to use it again if I have a machine next time.
RRoger MichaelOk. First of all leave your expectations at home expecting hotel level service. Once you've done that if you want a cheap but clean place to stay this is it. This is a seinenkan - a facility for youth and youth-related organizations to conduct independent study and recreational activities, many of which have basic accommodation facilities but higher grade facilities than youth hostels. They are located all over Japan. I stayed in a tatami mat room on a floor with shared toilet facilities. The ground floor has a large communal bath - obviously separate for male and females. They have lights out at 11 p.m. and guests must return by the same time. There is a very modern cafe onsite serving cheap breakfasts (see photos) but the cafe closes by 6 p.m. There is a convenience store 10 minutes walk away so I suggest you buy snacks and beverages en route from JR Ishiyama station. For dinner, there is a family restaurant - good value and okay food - about 6 minutes walk away.
The seinenkan is located on a small island by a historic bridge. The views of the river inlet flowing into the main Lake Biwa is relaxing, lots of bird wildlife, and lots of rowers (the seinenkan is a water sports facility too). and the sunrise and sunset views are lovely.
The staff are very kind. It cost me ¥5,500 for one night and I will stay there again if I have the opportunity.
