Hotel near Gangnam,Seoul
"If you're in the Gangnam area for a beauty trip, this place is within walking distance. They have lockers and laundry facilities, so it's perfectly adequate if you're traveling light for a 2-3 day stay. It's supposed to be self-check-in, but for some reason, I always end up having to go to the front desk. The noise level from other guests depends on their etiquette at the time, but it generally feels like there are people around throughout the day. Since the air conditioning is centralized rather than in individual booths, it can be quite strong, so if you get cold easily, you might want to bring thicker pajamas."

On your way to the hotel Airport bus number 6002 at Incheon International Airport Stopover : DongDaeMun Heunginjimun Surbway DongDaeMun Station (Line No1, Line No4 ) EXIT : No3 Gate

"I've stayed here twice already, and every time I visit Korea, I want to stay here. The location is super convenient, with the airport bus taking you directly to the hotel, and plenty of dining and shopping options nearby. It's just so convenient! The front desk staff are also very enthusiastic, and the room is spacious enough, making for a comfortable stay. The only downside is that the cleanliness isn't up to par. There were hairs on the floor and sticky residue by the bed, which I ended up cleaning myself. The disposable cups also showed signs of being used, so I guess the previous guest used them and put them back, and the cleaning staff didn't check or replace them. I hope they can improve their hygiene. Other than the cleanliness, everything else is great."

"I've never seen a hostel as clean as this one! As soon as you enter the lobby, you can smell cleanliness everywhere. I left some of my clothes on my bed during the day and when I came back at night, all my clothes had been folded and my bed had been made! For such a price, having such high-quality service is a luxury! All the amenities are modern and very well decorated. The rooftop is a great place to spend time, and you can even use the washing machine for free! Be careful with the dryer though, it’s really powerful, lots of people had their clothes shrink haha. I really wish I could have stayed longer in Seoul just for this hostel! So don’t be scared by all the positive comments cause it really lives up to its reputation! Thank you so so much to the cleaning staff, you’re doing God’s work."

"I've stayed here a few times! It's about a 5-minute walk from the station, and since it's set back a bit from the main street, it's quiet and peaceful. The building itself is older, so the rooms still use physical keys, but they are kept clean. I was staying for two nights, and they provided water for the number of guests multiplied by two days. When I requested housekeeping, they replenished it the next day too. The towels are laundered and don't have any strange smells, but some have old stains that don't come out. If that bothers you, you might want to bring your own. The bath and general amenities are in dispensers, not individually packaged. I only received some individually wrapped amenities on the first day. I'd recommend bringing your own. This place is great for those who want a good location and to save money. There are lots of delicious restaurants and cafes nearby."

"Excellent choice for staying in Seoul! The main advantage of this hostel is its location. It's practically in the city center, so it was very convenient to get to the main attractions and explore Seoul without wasting extra time. The hostel was very clean, cozy, and pleasant to stay in. The staff was incredibly friendly: the hostess always answered questions, helped with any requests, and created a comfortable atmosphere. A big plus was the option to leave luggage both before check-in and after check-out prior to the flight. The room was small, but for Seoul and this price, it's totally expected. Overall, everything essential was there, and for travelers who spend most of their time in the city, this is a great option. The only thing is that it can be quite noisy from the street in the evenings, so if you're a light sleeper, it's worth keeping this in mind."

"We were too tired so we did not take any photos of the room. There were about 5 rooms at a level. The room size was ok. But one thing to be noted was the hotel check-in time was 10pm. Luckily they did offer luggage storage service. The staffs were friendly tho. Otherwise, the hotel was clean and comfortable. Location wise was perfect. Very near to the metro station and also the airport limousine bus station. There were few restaurants nearby and we went to one that opened 24 hours which was very good. Also quite a number of convenience stores nearby. Overall, the stay was not bad."

Korea Happiness House is a serene getaway located just a 30-second walk from Exit 2 of Yongdu Station (Line 2). We provide a dedicated space for solo female travelers looking for a secure and peaceful stay in the heart of Seoul. Each guest can enjoy the privacy of a single room featuring elegant Korean-inspired interiors and premium-quality bedding. Our property offers convenient contactless entry, a shared kitchen for light meals, and well-maintained bathrooms with bidets. Experience a quiet, independent atmosphere designed for a restful journey. For guests planning to check in after 10:00 PM, please contact us in advance for a smooth arrival. Special late-arrival guidance will be provided for check-ins after our standard hours.

"The location is super convenient! Getting to Seongsu-dong is a breeze, only four stops away, so you can practically go every day. Once you exit Yongdu Station's Exit 2, just look to your left and you'll spot it. Highly recommend for solo female travelers. There's a CU right at the corner too, so I was there every day, haha. It's small but has everything you need. The AC is cold enough, and the water pressure is good with hot water. Out of my four-night stay, only one time did the water suddenly turn cold and the pressure drop, which was acceptable. They provide a water dispenser, toothbrush, toothpaste, and towels – all the essentials. It's perfect for those on a tight schedule who just need a safe and comfortable place to sleep. The only downside is that if you're on the second floor, hauling luggage up is a bit of a struggle and felt a bit risky; I almost dropped it, hahaha. They also offer an OY coupon, which was a nice touch."

On one of the nights during our stay, the fire alarm went off at 3 AM. We sat on the curb across the street, shivering in the cold for half an hour before the fire truck arrived. During that entire half hour, no staff member came out to explain the situation. Staff from Hotel Skypark II across the street did come out to check, and after the fire trucks arrived, we also saw Skypark staff communicating with the firefighters. About an hour later, other guests started returning to their rooms, and we followed suit. Even at that point, no staff from this hotel had appeared. On our way back to the room, we noticed a large amount of clutter in the stairwell (see photo) — a hazard in itself.  A few minutes after we got back to our room, the fire alarm suddenly went off again, but just for a few seconds, which startled us so much that we immediately went down to the front desk on the 3/F. At that time, there were two foreign female sitting in the common area. We thought they were just guests and chatted with them for a bit, only to find out during the conversation that they were actually staff members here. According to them, they were something like international students or exchange students working here— not trained professionals you would expect to handle an emergency. We also figured out during the conversation that they had actually been standing outside with the guests the whole time while we were all waiting for the fire trucks to arrive — yet even then, neither of them had come forward to say anything or offer any reassurance. We guessed that they were probably working here in exchange for a place to stay, which would explain why no one seemed to be properly in charge when things went wrong. Putting this incident aside, this hostel is actually quite good.  The three of us stayed in a family twin room. We were able to open two large suitcases in the entrance hallway, and there was plenty of space at the foot of the beds and underneath them to temporarily store things we had just bought. The double bed was more than spacious enough for two people, and there was also lots of room on the shelf behind our bed to place personal items. The only minor complaint is that a smell occasionally came from the ventilation system on the bathroom ceiling. Also, there is no shower stall/ bathtub (see photo), so when you shower, the entire floor and toilet bowl gets wet, and there is no place to hang clothes to change into after showering. The room was pretty clean. The common area has a vacuum cleaner, a washer-dryer, and a luggage scale. There is also a microwave, an oven, and a stovetop available for use. For breakfast, bread, eggs, cereal, milk, and Indomie instant noodles are provided for you to cook yourself.   The hotel's location is very convenient — it's right across from Hotel Skypark II. It's a short walk to Euljiro 1(il)-ga Station and Myeongdong, and there are plenty of great restaurants nearby, as well as a convenience store right across the street. If it weren't for this incident, I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel.

Oh my goodness! I was so lucky to choose this hostel. I originally booked a room with two single beds and a private bathroom, but the front desk upgraded me directly to a triple room with one queen bed and one single bed – it was fantastic! It was also very close to the elevator, and there's a luggage scale available in the hallway. Downstairs, there's a huge Olive Young (pharmacy/beauty store), right in the heart of Myeongdong. Across the street, there's a convenience store and the delicious Sinseon Seolleongtang, so everything you need is super convenient. The hostel offers a simple breakfast; personally, I didn't find it particularly delicious, but it was acceptable. You have to wash your own dishes after eating, and the hygiene conditions are excellent. The front desk service was also very enthusiastic and spoke English. I recommend booking two months in advance for more choices and better prices.

The location is very nice. You can easily walk to Myeongdong, Namsan Tower, and many restaurants, and transportation is convenient. The staff were very kind and helpful. However, it’s difficult for me to say this was a good stay overall. Here are the reasons why: • Elevator – The elevator is only for luggage, not for guests. This should be clearly stated before booking. As in here it’s show as the property has an elevator without explaining that it is a cargo elevator, it is misleading. • Security – The room password was simply the room number with an additional “1” added to it. I didn’t leave valuables in the room, so I wasn’t too worried, but it still felt like a weak security system. • Room Door – There is no additional lock on the inside of the room. While the digital lock can be activated, I never felt completely confident that the door was fully secured. • Soft Opening Without Notice – When I booked, there was no mention that the property was still in a soft-opening stage. I expected the hotel to be fully operational. Instead, there were unfinished areas, items left around the property, and staff frequently entering rooms after check-in to inspect or photograph things without being asked. Had I known the hotel was not fully ready, I would have considered other options before booking. • Poor Room Layout – My room was 405, located at the end of the hallway. The neighboring room (404) had a door positioned in a way that it would hit my door whenever opened carelessly. During my four-night stay, the guests next door banged their door into mine repeatedly. Eventually, at around 1 a.m. one night, I had to contact the staff and ask them to address the issue. • Cleanliness Concerns – The property appears to use the same type of towel for everything. When I asked about a bathroom mat, I was told to use a towel instead. This gave me the impression that the towels were being used for multiple purposes, including drying floors. On top of that, the towels shed lint and left fibers on my skin after use. • Very Small Bathroom – Please be aware that the bathroom is extremely small. The shower is positioned directly over the toilet, and there is barely enough room to stand while showering. In practice, you almost need to sit on the toilet to shower comfortably. After two nights, I seriously considered moving to another hotel. The only reason I stayed was because my mother didn’t want to move all of our belongings again. To be fair, one of the staff members (possibly the owner) sincerely apologized and explained that they were trying their best. I do believe they genuinely care and are making an effort. However, there is still a long way to go before this property is ready to provide a comfortable hotel experience.

I really liked this hotel. The bathroom with frosted glass was a nice touch, and the room was cleaned daily with fresh towels replaced every day. Toiletries were also replenished daily. The overhead shower was super cool! The hotel's location is fantastic, situated between two metro stations, making it easy to get to central Seoul. There are also plenty of shops, a market, and cafes nearby. Plus, there are mountains close by if you fancy a hike. They even have signs in Russian, and the owner speaks a bit of Russian too! 😊

Checkin starts at 3, I ended up there at 2:30, asked to wait very sternly, I said ya no worries I will and I sat on the sofa. But the guy who was supposed to check in, he was late and suddenly the women was now polite. The guy eventually came at 3:30. And was apologetic. Funny how people can be apologetic if its their mistake , but ask them 1 more question hours later they become rude. He spoke broken English which was hard to grasp as he was going really quickly on the do’s and dont’s but he was irritated at me for that. Next day I saw him all in smiles and laughter to a westerner. And calmly explaining everything. Rest, liked the location because its away from Myeongdang main street, so its calm while close enough to walk for stroll.

The room had bunk beds, and the location was really convenient. It was only a 3-minute walk to the subway station, with a pharmacy and convenience store nearby. It's also very close to that popular spicy chicken feet place. My bed was near the restroom, so there was a slight musty smell, but overall it was quite clean. The first floor is a common area where you can do some simple cooking (like instant noodles and toast) and boil hot water. Check-in is at 3 PM daily. This is my second time staying here, and I'm still quite satisfied.

It's only two minutes' walk from the nearest station and has excellent access. There is a convenience store right next to the hotel, and there are 24-hour restaurants nearby, so it's convenient. A refrigerator, dryer, and smartphone charger are provided in the room.(i-phone&type-c only) If there is no staff at the front desk when you check in, you will need to obtain your room number using sns. As others have written, the cleaning situation leaves room for improvement. However, you will be able to stay at a very reasonable price, so I think it would be a good idea to bring slippers and other things to make up for the parts of the floor that are not well cleaned.
