"I had read it is quite to find. It just to the left after you pass the fisherman’s village sign. Once you find the first sign you’ll find it. It’s quite dark going back at night. There’s a kettle and cups but no tea or coffee.
We had to wait to check in till 2 not sure if this is always the case only the receptionist only turned up."

"We extended our stay, here, to double our original booking! Perfect location - not super busy or full of tourists. Great restaurants nearby and best of all, the calmest, least busy beaches. So serene. The owner of the property is so nice! All the staff speak English and are super friendly. The rooms are super clean and spacious. I would 100% stay here, again."

"Comfortable clean hostel. I stayed 4 nights and had to no complains to do, the stuff were kind. There’s a comfortable place to seat outside also and get some drinks, the pool is quite nice, the beds comfortable enough and all the amenities you need in a hostel. Only problem is that the lockers do not fit a hand luggage. But there’s room to leave next to your bed."

"It was a lovely hotel we had booked for 3 nights and booked for a 4th as it was in a good location and a good hotel. It is a noisy street but we had one of the apartments at the back next to the swimming pool and couldn’t hear any of the loud music from outside whilst in the room"

"The hotel has seen better days. Facilties are old but works. Expect basic and you're fine. My major gripe is that I paid for a seaview room but I was allocated a room on level 3 with seaview barley in sight blocked by trees and building. Unless you're assigned a room on level 4 (the highest), I think it's not worth paying a premium for seaview."

"This is honestly the best review I have ever written, because this place was truly the top stay of our entire 46-day trip.
The blankets and towels were always spotless, the room was very clean, fresh-smelling, and well taken care of. Every day the staff changed our towels, made the bed, and did some light cleaning: the service was outstanding.
The receptionist was amazing, always friendly and ready to help.
We left a 400-watt deposit, and when it was time to check out, everything was returned smoothly, with no problems at all.
The location is excellent: very close to the beach, near food stalls and evening hangout spots, yet slightly separated from all the noise. This makes it ideal for resting, very calm and quiet.
We also had coffee and some cookies included every morning, a small touch that made our mornings really pleasant.
Everything about our stay was perfect — absolutely recommended!"

224601kI was so hesitant to book the beach front villa because sometimes it is not what they seem on the internet. It was such a regret, but asked their front desk if they can upgrade my room even just for few nights, luckily they had one available for two nights. They upgraded my room, of course with additional pay. Then I moved back to the tree house which is even bigger than the villa but a bit far from the beach. Their hotel staff were very accommodating, couldn't complain. Though, if you aren't used to chickens waking you up in the morning, the tree house won't be your best pick because below it is their mini zoo and garden. But if you're up to it, it's a really amazing experience.
Their restaurant, bar, and cafe are all amazing, food, drink, price, and specially staff. They were all welcoming!
The location is a bit far from the town and other establishments. Though, you can borrow one of their bikes to cycle around.
All in all, it was a great time staying at this hotel. You'll really get your money's worth.

GGuest UserI would recommend hiring a moped at the ferry port. (If that’s how you’re arriving) so it’s cheaper overall. The hostel does offer ferry port runs but they cost 750 baht which is super expensive. The location is a little far away from the hustle and bustle of the centre which we absolutely loved. We felt like it was a haven tucked away. Everything is easily reachable with your own transport.
We chose the sea view beach hut, which we didn’t realise was 2km from the normal camping farm where the kitchen/washing is. This was fine for us as we had a moped and we had a kettle in our hut. The beach area has 5 huts in total and also a bar/restaurant on the beach with it. There is a 7/11 and V save 1 km away also.
The bed was soo comfortable and I had some of the best nights sleep I’ve had in Thailand. The mosquito net does have lots of holes in it though so be prepared to safety pin some up!
The road to get to the accommodation is very uneven and full of potholes. This is fine if you’re a confident moped driver but may make some people uneasy (especially at night time). Over time you work out the best routes!
We would hugely recommend staying here, the food is great, people are lovely and the location is so tranquil. We felt very safe in our hut. We loved waking up each morning and stretching on the beach. It felt like home towards the end of our stay (5nights).

ММаргарита УнцWe chose a 25 square meter room with two beds. It's a bit small. It's almost like it wasn't 25... We pushed two beds together and created more space, enough to unfold a suitcase.
There's three floors without an elevator. You can barely hear anything, except when ***************** was in the next room, their bed would bang against the wall. You can still barely hear the road. I slept with earplugs. It's fine.
The floor is tiled. It's cold to walk around barefoot. Bring slippers. There's air conditioning, a dryer, a kettle, a closet with hangers, a safe, a refrigerator, and a shower with a heater. The heater can be adjusted. Shampoo and shower gel, dry wipes, and toiletries are provided. Coffee bags and sugar are provided. For some reason, there weren't any tea bags. But that's okay.
I don't like air conditioning, so we ventilated the room: we opened the balcony and the door. It creates a nice draft.
Cleaning and water are provided daily, BUT you must leave the key at reception!
There are reasonably priced food options on the ground floor. The beach and shops are close. The beach was never too rough. There's a fire show on the beach in the evenings.
We loved everything. Thank you very much.

AArmencoI liked this place. Not the fanciest one but for the price it’s a good deal. The are a lot of cafes nearby, the waterfall is 5 min away on a scooter. And the life is slower and cheaper on this part on the island.

LLikaSDespite the fact that the hotel is very old and run-down, it has a great location in the center, the beach is 100 m away, and at the same time it is very quiet and calm, there is a panoramic roof, where it is nice to sit in the morning and drink coffee, if you get tired of the balcony.
For your money, a great option!
Of the minuses - there is never anyone at the reception, the owner is either somewhere in the hotel (he constantly checks water, electricity, toilet paper in common areas), or he is not there at all. (Among the advantages are several phone numbers on the door, you can always dial and even if you don't understand anything, say through the translator ”I booked a room, please come now”, in 5 minutes they will arrive and check you in right away)))
You can leave calmly leaving the key in the open room, or in the lock.
We lived in a room with a window to the street and a fan, the toilet and shower are shared by 6 rooms (2 showers, 2 toilets + two sinks for washing separately) - everything is close to the room and always free. No matter how simple it was, we really liked the atmosphere and location, we would stay in this hotel again, especially for such a price)

VvitriolvmRooms on the beach, one side is a beach, other side is a road, so if you are senstive to noise, it would be a trouble. Local people and tourists love bikes and to step on it. Nearest town and a pier are in 20 min by walk.
Nearest 7-11 is in 10 min by walk (both directions)
There is a kind of a beach, but it was always low tide, so I can't imagine that you can swim there or whatever
