"The atmosphere here exceeded my expectations! The location is super convenient, close to restaurants and major attractions. The rooms are clean, the beds are very comfortable, and the air-conditioning is perfect, I slept so well. Most importantly, the staff are friendly, always smiling, and very helpful. It truly feels warm and welcoming, just like being at home. I also love the activities the hostel organizes for guests to connect with each other, I got to meet new friends from all around the world. And the bathroom are well-kept with space for shower and toilet with hangers, which is an asset. The team has the pleasant kindness of Thailand hospitality. I recommend it!"

"The hotel room was clean and well decorated. The hotel staff were also friendly. I got the room 2 hours before than the regular check in time. Breakfast options are too limited. No pick up and drop service from/to the ferry. The location was good considering quiet surrounding and near by mosque."

"The lock didn't work properly; I couldn't get in right away. The bedding was clean, but the mattress was good. The shower was poorly designed; when I entered the bathroom, everything was wet from the previous user."

"We took a room for three.
Very small, for the third person there is a folding bed. The room is terrible, were bitten by ants. For three days they did not clean it even once.
Plus it is very cheap, just right for a couple of nights!"

"They explained everything to me in English that was easy for Japanese people to understand.
The reception and men's dorm were on the first floor, and the shared space and women's dorm were on the second floor.
The only downsides were that the shower and bathroom were in the same building and you could hear music from a nearby bar until after 3am.
But I'd definitely stay here again if I go to Phi Phi Island again."

"Small private rooms, everything is within a walking distance on Phi Phi so everything was nearby. This accomodation is out of the way to the east which makes it slightly quieter from the party noise (although expect to hear some noise). We were however woken up a lot by the staff in the morning preparing food, cleaning etc. Wasn’t the comfiest bed nor the cleanest but it was an overall good stay and had everything we needed."

"The location of the hotel for us was convenient, quiet area. The furniture in the room is old but the bed is new. It is uncomfortable that the plum for the water from the shower is behind the toilet. So around the toilet there is constantly a pond. Very noisy the outer air conditioner unit works."

"Overall, everything was more than fine. We were checked in early. The sheets and towels were clean, and tea, coffee, and water were available in the room. We were unlucky; it rained and blew strong overnight. Something was banging outside, either on the roof or on the stilts that support these bungalows on the mountain. It felt like the neighbors in the apartment building were banging on the radiator. 😝 We couldn't get a good night's sleep. And that was the main criterion when choosing a place to stay on Phi Phi."

"I really liked the hotel, the windows overlooked the opposite side from the road, it was very quiet. Aostel is very comfortable, great... The hotel is in the center of the island, everything is nearby, and the beaches, and the pier, and cafes with exchange offices. The owners of the hotel are very friendly. And there are also three cute cats living there))"

TThongsangFirst of all , I love the hotel concept as heart , good location,free refill water whole stay. When I check in the staff inform me the hotel renovating from 8Am may disturb my stay but for me is okay to stay . But the room that I got is like the picture , while I open the room smell of mold ,well I understand renovating may be like this but , the twin beds show exactly different of the color , the bottle of handwashing shower gel or shampoo seem weird, the wall painting was pill . I wish and hope it will not happen like this with any of the customer who spent the money for the hotel .

GGuest UserGreat location, good for swimming at the beach and viewing the mountain behind the resort. The service was great - i did a late booking yet they came to offer me a bed despite passing their working hours. Its like 10 min work to the social area and i love the walk in and out cos it helps me to have my 30 min of exercise :). The only issue i had was that i saw a crab in my room one evening but it was okay - harmless. Had a good time relaxing and working.

Now the minus:
Bedding and towels are old and yellow. The shower has no hot water, only cold.
Because of music at night (from bars) it is difficult to sleep.
If there is an opportunity to rent a separate room somewhere else, do it.

The pool closes early, but such rules are on the whole island ((in the bungalow we were on the 2nd floor above the pool, there is no Internet, this is a big problem (But the hotel is clean. The staff at the reception are angry (((I liked it so much nature, silence and birds. An interesting hotel for a change.

GGuest UserWas nice being located rightb in the center but in the same time this brought a lot of noise in the night, i was hearing music and people till late in the night soo sometimes was a bit difficult to fell asleep. The room looks nice, air con is life saver. We encountered problems with the electricity in our room, it was stopping and starting again and again stopping so it was really annoying. The owner gave us the room next to us for the second night and there we had problems with the air con as we couldn’t stop it unless we disconnected the key and shot down the electricity.
Oh, and there are stairs to get to the rooms, for people who don’t want this.
