Cozy, comfortable cabin located next door to Pipestem Resort State Park. A family-friendly place located in a great community. We love pets as well! There is free parking in the driveway and on the side of the house. The spaceOur cabin is cozy and adorable. There are so many things to do in the area, and most of the trails to hidden treasures are low impact. Of course, with Pipestem State Park across the way, the activities are almost endless!Guest accessYou have access to the house and a neighborhood pool that is just a couple blocks over.Other things to noteThis is a “tiny” home, with some smaller appliances and such in order to maximize the place. There is a small stove and fridge. There is also a small shower. The bunk beds are single mattress pads in the hallway.About pets:Pets allowed: limit 2 total.About checkOut:Check out before 11:00 AM.About children:Children allowed: ages 0-17.About checkIn:Check in after 4:00 PM.About smoking:Smoking is not permitted.About minBookingAge:Minimum age to rent: 18.About events:No events allowed.

We named this house Mample's because it was my grandmothers weekend get away. She loved the New River and wanted her family and friends to have a place to get away when they could. I remember weekends playing in that front yard, just waiting on a train to go by so the engineer would blow his horn. The adults sitting on the porch watching us kids and enjoying the view of the River. Meadow Creek use to be a quaint little railroad town that has died off, with just residents and A LOT of good fishing and nostalgia. Mample's place sits right in the very heart of it. You can sit on the big front porch and look at the river behind what use to be a very busy store and watch what few trains that still go by. Use your imagination and you can be back in that little town visiting with the people on a Sunday afternoon. Or you can just get busy and FISH, Kayack, Canoe or hike Trailshttps://newrivergorgecvb.com/40-reasons-to-visit-the-new-river-gorge-national-park-and-preserve/?utm_source=facebook&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=may_2023&fbclid=IwAR0RjuWc9WPZOQoNM6y-T9fP-wg_AwYDesy5HayLADz7XBoWSw0PsJ2HN1o&mibextid=Zxz2cZAbout pets:Pets allowed: dogs and cats less than 50 lbs per pet (limit 2 pets total).About checkOut:Check out before 10:00 AM.About children:Children allowed: ages 0-17.About checkIn:Check in after 4:00 PM.About smoking:Smoking is not permitted.About minBookingAge:Minimum age to rent: 21.About events:No events allowed.

Built in 1902 this 3 bedroom 1 bath cozy little gem overlooks the river in a panoramic fashion. It's sits on top of the hill just above the river, on a dead end street, but still only moments from I-64. It's in the perfect location to see any end of the New River Gorge National Park, is hidden in plain sight, and is located just outside the park boundaries. The house is a little crooked but very charming. It has plenty of utensils, cast iron skillets, and spices to cook or grill, best well water around, black out shades, wifi, games, large yard, covered porch overlooking the river, and many more… also new I started to build a trail that leads into the woods behind the property but they aren’t completely done however you may explore around hill behind you and the surrounding fields and don’t forget to look at all the fossils everywhere. You will enjoy waking up and seeing the river before your feet even hit the floor, having your coffee on the porch in the mornings, watching eagles and other birds, deer, and the abundance of other wildlife in our park, also playing and exploring with your family. Pets are welcome and will enjoy lots of space to play. I provide puppy towels and a pooper scooper. The yard is also now fenced in and the large front porch has a gate so your furry friend has options for going outside to lay in the sun. It really is a hidden gem. This lovely historic home on Greenbrier Drive has all of the basic amenities you will need for a comfortable stay. Kitchen, one & 1/2 bathrooms, living room, dining room, 3 bedrooms, and a river lover’s paradise! We are calling it a “potential stay” simply because this historic home has the potential to be a $200/night place. Each room needs scraped & painted and we will do it one-room-at-a-time as we can afford. This was Clare’s childhood home so THANK YOU for helping to restore it!The spaceIn addition to the home - You have a spacious private back patio and a wonderful view of the Greenbrier river from the front porch. Cross the street (carefully!) for river access. At regular Summer water levels - you have your own island to play or relax on!We are only minutes away from Pipestem & Bluestone State Parks, Bluestone Lake and Sandstone Falls. We (Summers County) are a part of the New River Gorge National Park and Preserve! The New River Gorge in Fayetteville is one hour away.Guest accessThe whole home and Greenbrier river in front of the home.Other things to noteThis home is a WORK IN PROGRESS. That is the only reason it is priced so low. We just put on a new roof and had the electrical updated. Also, over 1k in plumbing. Your reservation goes back in to the home 100%.
