Find 2-Star Hotels in Hanoi

"The hostel's location is pretty close to all shops anywhere within the Old Quarter. The only downside is it is situated inside a narrow alley which is a little bit difficult to find. The capsule cabin's size is pretty descent (a couple can even fit inside). This is a nice hostel. Just an honest observation during my stay, there was a smell within the room but I don't know what is that."

"I stayed at this hotel for a couple of nights due to a flight cancellation. I really enjoyed the hotel – its location, condition, and service were all great. The hotel is situated right on the edge of the Old Quarter, making it easy to walk to the main attractions. There are plenty of bars and restaurants nearby. The hotel has been recently renovated and features a modern elevator. There are no more than 10 rooms per floor, which keeps things quiet. My room was clean and had good quality, modern bathroom fixtures. I had no issues with the air conditioning or hot water. It’s genuinely a non-smoking room; there was no hint of tobacco smell. They provide water and toiletries. The minibar is chargeable. Upon checkout, they asked for a moment to check the room. Breakfast is served on the top floor, where there’s a terrace, though I didn't see anyone eating there. The breakfast is delicious and buffet-style. In addition to the buffet, they prepare pho soups and make omelets to order. The selection is typical: noodles, rice, vegetables, fried fish/chicken, fruit, pastries, yogurt, tea, coffee, and juice. The service was also excellent. During check-in, everything was explained clearly, and they helped with my luggage. Everything was done with a smile and great courtesy. I’m trying to think of any downsides, but I honestly found almost none for myself: a small lobby, literally only fitting 4-5 people, and I didn't notice a dedicated luggage room – I assume they store it right in that small lobby, but that’s just a guess. Overall, a very decent 4-star option."

"The dorm room felt like a Japanese capsule hotel. The mattress was very comfortable and clean, and fresh towels were provided daily. The staff were kind and attentive, even allowing us to store our luggage for free after check-out. The only drawback was the lack of an elevator."

"The People there is very welcoming and hospitable. I booked there before going to sapa and Coming back from Sapa i dont have any reservations to them but they allow us to stayed in the lobby and left my luggage so i can walk around. The Rooms also spacious and neat."

"The hotel, though small, was incredibly charming and full of pleasant surprises. The room was spotless, and the service was excellent—they even had a concierge! When checking in at the front desk, there were complimentary snacks and fresh fruit in the lobby, and the bananas were wonderfully soft and sweet. The hotel's location is fantastic, right in the city center, and you can easily walk to the night market. The breakfast was the best I've had at this price point; the food was incredibly fresh and exceeded all my expectations! I'll definitely choose to stay here again on my next trip to Hanoi."

"The hostel itself was in a great location and was clean, however the fact that the hours at the front desk were odd was a deal breaker for me. I arrived fairly late and had to wait to check in until someone arrived to help after I called. Then, when I checked out, there was no one at the desk in the morning and I almost missed my flight because there wasn’t anybody to check me out. The times don’t line up with what it says here on Trip. In addition, online it says that refunds for the deposit are possible through card, but it was not possible when I checked out and I was given cash which I don’t need now that I am leaving Vietnam. I would stay here again but only if there is better clarity on these issues in the future."

"The service is great and the room is clean, the staff is respectful, location its nice for people that want to be in a calm place. But one girl that working with reception’s staff she has a bad attitudes towards clients, i can rate this hotel 10/10 but that girl made it lower by her attitude. In general the hotel is great( except that girl)🙂."

"Очень удобное расположение. Лёгкий заезд и выезд. Можно оставить вещи на хранение до отъезда. Номер удобный, все есть. Удобно, что есть стиральная машинка. Горячая вода была в любое время. Очень лёгкая и удобная связь с хозяином. Я осталась очень довольна проживанием."

"It was good overall. The room was very big. You could have multiple suitcases open without problem. The room felt clean. The bed felt good as well. They had towel, shampoo and body soap. The staff was friendly as well. The WiFi worked fine. They have a service to drive you to the city for 250’000 vnd. You pay by cash or card. If you pay with card you’ll have to pay 3,5% extra (258’700 vnd in total). I would say the only down side was that the bathroom was a wet bathroom. If you shower everything gets wet. The drainer is behind the toilet, which is a bit weird I think. When I showered the floor got wet, but the next day everything was dry. Didn’t expect that. They also didn’t have conditioner or hand soap. Because behind the hotel is a lot of nature it is natural that there’s some insects in the room. I only saw one medium big insect (not cockroach thanks god!). The rest was small smal ants. Not very much. Just a small amount. Most of them in the bathroom. I don’t like insects but I was fine with it. They were in the corner and didn’t bother me. But if you have ZERO tolerance of any kind of insects I would say not to stay here. If you are ok with small amount of ants in the room not bothering you, it should be no problem. I would rather stay like that than inhaling pesticide."
