"This hotel offers incredible value for money! During the Spring Festival, it was less than 500 a night, which was perfect for a solo traveler. It even has a charming, vintage-style small balcony. It's less than a 10-minute walk from Lucerne train station, and directly below it is what feels like Lucerne's main commercial street. It's also very close to Migros. I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit Switzerland!"

"Location wise is good as it’s right in the middle of the old town. Walking distance from the ferry dock and train station but stairs and cobblestones make it hard to drag your luggage. The only redeeming quality about the room is its size. The quadruple room is a good size for 4 adults with 4 luggages. However the amenities are close to nothing, the wifi is crap and the TV is always faulty. Cleanliness is average - doors are chipped and rusty, the tub is also chipped and dirty. We stayed quite a lot of nights and after the first two nights it’s like the housekeeping staff gave up on properly cleaning the room and replenishing the amenities. Would stay again only as a last resort."

"The room is pretty bare minimum. The lift is an experience. 😂 The hosts were quite helpful but doesn’t really understand English (or me in that matter). Your keycard should open the outside door (I was blind; the information is at the door but all the way to the bottom)"

"Location was right beside the train station, making it easy to get in and out of the town. The main streets were also walkable, mostly within 20mins. It can get rather noisy at night due to the bar nearby, but the hotel did provide earplugs to help with the potential noise issue. There is no air-conditioning in the room we booked and we had to rely on the outside air, which was still rather cold so that was not a major issue. The lift is of the typical old European style, so travellers with huge luggage may find it inconvenient when taking the lift."

"The room is very warm, the window is the cattle and horses of the farmers, very good natural environment, very quiet, breakfast is very rich. The location is a few hundred meters from the city center train station. It is very convenient to take a S6 from the city center train station for ten minutes."

So I stayed dekat ibis Hotel Lucerne for 12 days 11 nights with my family and honestly I can say tempat ni sangat strategic. Bas jalan sikit je depan hotel, nak balik pun boleh naik bas, and train station pun dekat. Kami usually naik bas 2 stops terus sampai Luzern Bahnhof, memang senang gila nak bergerak. Location hotel ni betul-betul area tengah Tasik Luzern, and the view… cantik gila 😭✨ Kalau tak berkabus musim winter tu, MasyaAllah memang breathtaking. Boleh nampak gunung-ganang surrounding, and yes you can literally see the Alps, plus yang paling gah kat bandar tu mestilah Mount Pilatus 🏔️ Cuma satu je pasal Lucerne, halal food options memang tak banyak. Tapi no worries sebab my family memang selalu ke Zurich, Bern, and other places untuk makan, so still okay 👍 Hotel service memang top tier for our stay. Diorang bagi free train & bus tickets yang cover Zone 10 (Lucerne city only). Kami guna mostly dalam sehari je sebab most of our itinerary dah cover whole Switzerland, but still sangat helpful. Room pun luas gila, tak kecik langsung macam yang orang selalu expect dari ibis hehe 🤍 Overall memang recommended kalau stay lama kat Lucerne with family ✨🇨🇭"
