"This hotel is in a super convenient location, right next to Lucerne train station. It's a lifesaver if you're traveling with luggage or by train.
There's a Migros right across the street, which is perfect for grabbing snacks, drinks, fruit, or daily necessities. It's really quick to stock up before heading back to the hotel in the evening.
And there's a McDonald's nearby too, so if you get hungry late at night or just want a quick bite, you don't have to go far.
The area around the hotel has fantastic amenities, with lots of restaurants and shops. You can easily walk to Lake Lucerne and all the main attractions, and an evening stroll is really pleasant.
With such great transport links and an excellent location, it's highly recommended whether you're traveling independently or visiting Switzerland for the first time.
Overall, my stay was very convenient, saving a lot of time on transport and lugging bags around. I'd definitely want to stay here again on my next trip to Lucerne."

"Absolutely perfect service! The front desk staff were incredibly polite. We arrived early and left our luggage, and to our delight, when we returned, they had already placed our bags in our room. We really appreciate that! The room itself was spotless and well-equipped. Breakfast was delicious too. We had a wonderful day here and will definitely choose this hotel again on our next visit!"

"It's okay to stay overnight within 10 minutes walk from Lucerne Station. It's close. Good to carry a suitcase. It is a good place to leave your luggage before check-in. And on the first floor, we had a restaurant, and they gave us a restaurant coupon, and they didn't use it.
There was no electric pot in the room. I think there was a coffee machine.
When you go out, it's good to go to the Capel Bridge right in front of you. There is Starbucks next to it."

"Location wise is good as it’s right in the middle of the old town. Walking distance from the ferry dock and train station but stairs and cobblestones make it hard to drag your luggage. The only redeeming quality about the room is its size. The quadruple room is a good size for 4 adults with 4 luggages. However the amenities are close to nothing, the wifi is crap and the TV is always faulty. Cleanliness is average - doors are chipped and rusty, the tub is also chipped and dirty. We stayed quite a lot of nights and after the first two nights it’s like the housekeeping staff gave up on properly cleaning the room and replenishing the amenities. Would stay again only as a last resort."

"The Swissôtel was indeed expensive and small, but it exceeded my expectations! I'd anticipated it would be tiny for the price, but my friend and I were actually able to open both of our large suitcases comfortably. The front desk staff were very friendly and spoke excellent English, taking their time to recommend fun things to do. And the breakfast was absolutely delicious!"

The best part is its proximity to the train station! Just a few steps from the train, you can drop off your luggage and completely free up your hands, avoiding the torture of dragging suitcases over the old town's cobblestone streets. The front desk service was also impeccable, both warm and professional.
However, even with such a perfect location and amazing service, there's one fatal flaw – no air conditioning! Who would have thought that Switzerland in late May would defy expectations and be as hot as an oven? Accustomed to powerful air conditioning in Asia, returning to the room at night felt like a complimentary 'Swiss eco-sauna' experience. Location gets full marks, service gets full marks, but for the temperature, we had to rely on our strong willpower for some 'physical cooling'."

"The room is very warm, the window is the cattle and horses of the farmers, very good natural environment, very quiet, breakfast is very rich. The location is a few hundred meters from the city center train station. It is very convenient to take a S6 from the city center train station for ten minutes."

"The hotel felt very secure, and they offered free luggage storage. The front desk staff were incredibly helpful, giving directions and even assisting with our itinerary. When we checked in, they provided a map and a QR code for local public transport, which was super convenient for taking the bus. The location is excellent – it's about a 10-minute walk to the bridge shown in the pictures, and also very close to the ferry terminal and train station."

But there are also many shortcomings: 1) The room is small, and it is a bit difficult to move with two large pieces of luggage; 2) The breakfast is average, and there is not much to choose from. 3) Luggage handling is a problem, because you can't park at the door of the hotel, and the parking garage is across the road, so you have to drag your luggage yourself. There are two steps from the road to the hotel lobby, and there is no elevator. Of course, the beautiful waitress is very enthusiastic and will help with the luggage. The service attitude of the waiter is very good.

Small, like a family hotel, the key is left in the envelope on the front desk, no staff provides other counselling services. The room did not have air conditioning, and I woke up in the middle of the night and found that there was a desktop fan. Overall, the price is not high, did not sleep well

GGuest UserThe location is good, close to the train station and most sightseeing places in Luzern. The receptionists were all friendly and helpful. The only drawback of the hotel is noise levels. There are many restaurants around with outdoor seating so you would hear people chatting all the way till 11 pm. 5AM in the morning there would be loud street cleaning trucks. There was one night some bar nearby had loud drunk people noise till 2AM. There's no AC in the room so you have to leave the window open and deal with all the noises.

We stayed at this accommodation in Lucerne for 2 nights, but the accommodation was very dark and uncomfortable
The bathroom was very old-fashioned, and the elevator was narrow and uncomfortable
I brought a shower filter and turned on the water, and the color of the filter changed right away. (I've been to many places in Europe, but this is the first time this has happened.)
The parking lot was a bit far (3 minutes on foot) and there was no discount on parking. It was a bit expensive
However, the location is very good, and I highly recommend it to those who are traveling by train for 1 or 2 nights (the place is very good for the price)

BBababababababaThis is the smallest room I have ever lived in for many years! In addition to the bed, the small bar, and the toilet, the remaining space is enough to stand a few people. The left side of the bed is the wall, the right side is the window, there is no place to put the bedside table. Clean or clean. The old town is inch of land and gold. Walk to the train station for 10 minutes, as a transit place for one night, pass.

The downside is that the facilities are a bit old, possibly due to the location. The bathtub is quite vintage, and the light switches also have an old-fashioned feel, as do the bedside lamps. The bed is a bit old too, and the room has poor soundproofing. There was a tour group in the middle of the night, and one of the older women's voices was deafening. Given the economical price, sometimes you can accept these things when considering the value.

Our bathroom was across the hall from our bedroom-- which though a little strange --didn't cause us any issues as it was private and clean (and huge). The only critique I have would be about the self check-in. I understand the goals of having a streamlined check-in process, but we didn't recieve the email with instructions, and had no answer to an email of inquiry. It took me phoning the hotel's administration to get an answer, in which the woman was very helpful, but did take away some of our time in Lucerne. If there was a more straightforward process that did not involve using the machine at the front door, as well as having clearer instructions on checking out, the stay would have been perfect.
