"The location was very good, near the chapel bridge and close to a number of restaurants, including in the hotel itself and not too far from the train station. The rooms were a decent size and had a definite retro feel. There was no air conditioning, but were provided with a fan. The bed was an old spring style one with a lean on it and I didn't really get a good night's sleep both nights I was there. In addition the first day my shower was barely luke warm, but luckily the situation was better the next day. I defintely loved the old time feel of the hotel, as it was memorable and different and on my trip it had to be one of the standout ones., but the bed was a bit of a disappointment and the fan was useful but not as effective as air con."

"✅ Location, room size, complimentary fruits (one-off) ❌ Unfriendly service, musty pillow, badly-designed sink (water everywhere makes your clothes wet), bad sound proof (loud noises from the bar on Friday and Saturday late night), no kettle and mini fridge in the room, don’t even have umbrellas for guests (they sell them for CHF 10), air conditioning isn’t adjustable at all, it was so cold we had to turn it off Not to mention I left something in the room but it wasn’t found and staff wasn’t helpful at all."
