The hotel itself has a welcoming, alpine feel, and the rooms are comfortable and well suited for both short and longer stays. I had breakfast included, and it was a great way to start the day before heading out into the mountains. There was a good selection available, and the setting made it even more enjoyable with the surrounding scenery. One of the standout features of this hotel is the wellness area. After a day of exploring or being out in the mountains, having access to a swimming pool, sauna, steam room, and spa facilities makes a big difference. It’s the perfect place to relax and unwind, especially if you’re visiting in colder months or after a long day of hiking or skiing. From a practical point of view, being right next to the train station means you have quick and easy access to nearby destinations like Lauterbrunnen, Grindelwald, and Jungfraujoch. It takes about 20 minutes to get to the airport by Uber, less than 20 euros. If you book a taxi at the front desk, it costs 35 euros."
