"Location: You can use bus or taxi from Datong South station. (Approximately 20 mins. ) Located in the city center and very convenient. Services: Hotel staff are extremely kind. I enjoyed a little conversation with them. They also send us some recomendation lists for restaurants. Room: It located underground, but relatively big and comfortable. However, a bathtub inside the room can easily leak water and my room soaked a little."

"I booked this hotel on Ctrip and it was excellent. Pros: Newly opened, beautifully decorated, everything is brand new. The standard room I booked was spacious, clean, and bright. The bathroom had separate wet and dry areas, and the shower water was excellent. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel facilities were comprehensive, with its own underground parking lot and a good breakfast buffet. Cons: The only downside is that it's a bit far from the city center, requiring navigation, making dining inconvenient; takeout is available. Value for money: The room price is reasonable and the value is excellent. Recommendation: This hotel is perfect for road trips. You can even see the sunrise from your room in the morning."

"Ive just left the Inn and on the train to the next destination. I wish I could stay longer as this was such a pleasant stay. The boss lady was so nice. I booked just a basic room but got upgraded to almost a studio flat with separate bedroom in the mezzanine and lounge downstairs. Everytime I come back from sightseeing, all hot tired, the boss lady gave me a bowl of delicious melons. It was sweet and juicy. The best melons I have had. The second time she also gave me bananas. It was so much needed. The hotel is in the perfect location. Thank you for a wonderful stay. 1. From Datongnan station there are buses 608 or 61 which takes you directly to Huayansi stop, less than 1min from the hotel. However, the hotel frontage is a jewelry shop, I didn't know so ended up walking up/down the street for 10mins before the boss lady realised and came out to tell me I have arrived. 2. If you want to go to Yungang Grottoes. From the same bus stop take bus 38, then change to bus 3 to get to the Grottoes. Journey time about an hour in total. And cost 4RMB (2RMB per bus). However, you have to set up some kind of public travel app from Wechat to get the QR code to pay the bus fare. I didn't know this. Fortunately, some nice people helped pay my fare, then another lovely girl helped set up the app enabling me to use the bus from then as when I arrived and took the bus from the train station to hotel Wechatpay didn't work. Fortunately the driver let me ride for free as I guess he realised Im foreign and don't have this app. Only when I took the bus to Yungang Grottoes, the girl told me I need to set up the travel app etc and helped me set it up. 3. The hotel is also right opposite to the Huayan temple. A beautiful ancient temple. Deffo can't be missed. "The location is fantastic! It's right next to Beiweijia Feast and Hongya, making it super convenient to get to the ancient city and Yungang Grottoes. The stay was amazing, great value for money, and the service was warm and welcoming. Highly recommend it to everyone!"

"As a family with children, this stay was fantastic! The room was spacious and clean, and they even thoughtfully provided slippers and toothbrushes for kids. The hotel has its own playground and swimming pool, and the kids didn't want to leave. The buffet breakfast had a dedicated children's area, offering nutritious and healthy options. The biggest surprise was that the staff upgraded our room and gave us a welcome gift. The location is also very convenient, just a 5-minute walk to the subway station, and there are plenty of shopping malls and restaurants nearby. The price is very reasonable compared to similar hotels, and we will definitely stay here again!"

"This guesthouse is absolutely fantastic! It's located within the ancient city walls, offering a peaceful retreat amidst the hustle and bustle. The villa-style building is charming, and the bedding and bathroom were incredibly clean, dry, and odor-free. The hostess is wonderful; she added me on WeChat beforehand to arrange pickup and even prepared some fruit for us. She also recommended some authentic local cuisine. The breakfast was incredibly rich, with millet porridge, steamed buns, mantou, sweet potatoes, and corn. What really stood out was that the side dish wasn't just simple pickles, but a freshly tossed, refreshing vegetable salad! 👍 The guesthouse's location is super convenient for exploring all the attractions within the ancient city. I also highly recommend Master Chang, who the hostess suggested. As a retired military veteran, he has a strong sense of responsibility and meticulousness. Since it was our first time in Datong and we wanted to visit Hanging Temple, Mount Heng, Yungang Grottoes, and Yanmen Pass in just two days, Master Chang even recommended additional unique attractions based on our interests. He worked tirelessly to help us secure tickets and went above and beyond to fulfill our wishes in Datong, contacting people everywhere. After two days, he felt like a close friend, constantly looking out for our needs. He's a very enthusiastic and trustworthy individual who made our Datong trip truly wonderful and complete! I wanted to share this great experience and recommend it to anyone visiting Datong for the first time or planning a return trip!"

"The hotel occupies two floors, the ninth and tenth, and the rooms are spacious. All facilities are almost brand new. The entire room is smart home; the bathroom nightlight is sensor-activated, only illuminating when you enter the bathroom at night, so the light won't disturb your partner's sleep. The mattress is also very comfortable and supportive. I slept soundly and felt refreshed. The room's cleanliness and soundproofing are excellent. I'm seventy years old and very sensitive to noise; even the slightest sound will wake me up, but I slept very comfortably here, even more comfortably than at home. The young lady at the hotel reception was incredibly helpful and enthusiastic. She assisted us with various issues and enthusiastically introduced us to different restaurants and attractions in Datong. She helped us integrate into the local life as soon as we arrived in the city. My partner said that she alone would make it worthwhile to come back to Datong again. This hotel will be my only choice for my next trip."

"The hotel was clean, tidy, and quiet, with new facilities and a wide selection of drinks in the lobby. The front desk staff were friendly and efficient during check-in, even giving me a small gift which I really appreciated. They also delivered my luggage to my room – the service was definitely four-star! The breakfast was exceptionally plentiful, and the surrounding area is convenient for shopping. Highly recommended."
