Returning for my fourth time! feeling calm and knowing exactly what to expect and what standards will be met. It is so reassuring. The staff here are truly amazing. They are incredibly responsive on WeChat, handling any request or issue instantly, and you can trust them completely to ensure a smooth stay. The air conditioning is strong and efficient, and most of the room's features are controlled by buttons right next to the bed, which is incredibly convenient. There is an air purifier for smoking rooms. The room also has a large, comfortable desk for work, plenty of power outlets, a mini-fridge, and an electric kettle. Food delivery is even brought right to your door by robots! Right behind the hotel, there is a huge supermarket stocked with everything you could need at very good prices, along with a McDonald's, various restaurants, and a small mall. Highly recommended! 🌷 This is an aesthetic, pleasant, and well-equipped hotel that strictly maintains its standards over time and provides very good value for money. Truly they deserve applauses 👏👏👏👏👏

Location: 5/5 – Absolutely Strategic! The biggest strength of this hotel is its unbeatable location. You’re steps away from McDonald's and Luckin Coffee for quick bites and caffeine. A well-stocked mall is right beside the hotel, making it super easy to grab daily necessities. The best part? A lively night market is directly opposite the hotel! This makes finding delicious, affordable local food incredibly convenient any time of the evening. The whole area is very 热闹 (rènào - bustling/energetic) – perfect if you want to be in the heart of the action. Cleanliness: 3/5 – Okay for the Price, Manage Expectations The general cleanliness is acceptable, if you adjust your expectations. It's definitely not a 5-star luxury experience, but for a budget/mid-range stay, it's passable and reasonably maintained. Don't expect immaculate perfection, but the basics are covered. Room & Atmosphere: 2/5 – Persistent Smoke Smell The major downside, especially in the rooms and hallways, is a strong and pervasive smoke smell. It's quite noticeable and doesn't dissipate easily. Unfortunately, this seems to be a common issue in many hotels within the region, but it's definitely present and unpleasant here if you're sensitive to it. Breakfast: 1/5 – Strongly Not Recommended / Unhygienic Avoid the breakfast option. Hygiene standards here are very poor. I personally observed small cockroaches crawling on the tables in the breakfast area. This is completely unacceptable and a major health red flag. Do yourself a favor and skip it entirely. Thankfully, with McDonald's, Luckin, the mall food court, and the fantastic night market opposite, you have plenty of much better (and cleaner) alternatives nearby. Overall: This hotel is all about the location, location, location. If being in a super convenient, vibrant area with easy access to food, coffee, and shopping is your top priority, and you're on a budget, it serves that purpose. The cleanliness is tolerable for the category. However, the strong smoke smell in the rooms and corridors is a significant drawback, and the breakfast is dangerously unhygienic (cockroach sighting confirmed). Choose this hotel for the prime spot if you can tolerate the smoke and definitely plan to eat breakfast elsewhere. Who should stay: Budget-conscious travelers prioritizing an unbeatable, lively location who aren't sensitive to smoke smells and will skip the hotel breakfast. Who should avoid: Families with young children, travelers sensitive to smoke, those prioritizing high cleanliness standards, or anyone planning to eat the hotel breakfast.

The decor from the outside of the hotel does not match the inside. The outside is somewhat old but the rooms itself are great. Lots of space and very new. The family enjoy their stay apart from some excessive noise from what I assume is karaoke above which can be heard from our room.

Mai Tu Hotel is really an impressive hotel. It was a good choice to choose this place for this business trip. First of all, the hotel has complete facilities, and both the layout of the room and the facilities in the public area show high quality. It is particularly worth mentioning that the hotel also has a gym, swimming pool and laundry room, which provides great convenience for us on business trips. The room is very new, modern and comfortable, giving people a feeling of being at home. Moreover, the facilities in the room are also complete, whether it is office or rest, it can be well satisfied. Let's talk about the service attitude of the front desk lady, which is really refreshing. She is not only warm and thoughtful, but also professional and meticulous. Whether it is check-in or check-out, she provides us with timely and thoughtful help. In general, Mai Tu Hotel is cost-effective, and both facilities and services are very satisfactory. The experience of this business trip is really great, and I will choose here again next time if I have the opportunity.

Bathroom are equipped with both shower and large bath. You can enjoy a relaxing bath, full of roses. We prepared our own, I think you can ask for them to prepare it for you. Here you will get a nice view, especially at night. The location is good as you're next to a mall where you can find a big supermarket if you go upstairs. There are lots of restaurants near this hotel, a KFC open 24/7, McDonalds until 22pm, chinese restaurants closes very late so if you want more tasty and nutritious food try it out :) I recommend you try out the cooked chicken from the restaurant that has an oven on the right side of the entrance. This chicken is on the first page of their menu, it's a must try ! if you just need a snack, there are convenience stores too

The room was very clean and the service was excellent. The room facilities were quite comprehensive. The hotel's location is very close to the Songshan Lake airport terminal, making transportation very convenient, perfect for business trips. It's also very close to the MixC mall area.

The hotel was clean and hygienic, and the rooms were fully equipped. The front desk staff were very friendly and attentive; they promptly noticed my incorrect booking dates and assisted with the change and issuing an invoice – excellent service!

In terms of quality, it is on of the highest quality rooms I have stayed in, especially at this price range it’s unbeatable. The room is perfectly clean and the temperature regulation is ideal. The shower temperature and water pressure feels really good, and the toilet flush is powerful. The cleaning lady cleans very efficiently. The complimentary breakfast is a nice plus. As a foreigner the check in process was easy. The only thing that was not so convenient as a foreigner is that the wifi requires login through a .cn Chinese browser which my foreign laptop was unable to access meaning I had to use my hotspot data. Otherwise it would have been near perfect. Rating 9/10.

The room was really new, well-equipped, and clean. The overall environment was impressive. The bathroom was meticulously cleaned, and new slippers were provided in the room, so I didn't have to go barefoot when showering, which was great! The toilet was new and very clean, showing great attention to detail. The sofa was stylish and had a nice texture, making it very comfortable to sit on. The view outside the window was fantastic and expansive. It was quiet and pleasant to stay in, very satisfied.
