"The room's cleanliness and everything else were pretty good, and breakfast was plentiful. The only downside was that there wasn't enough toilet paper in the room! The window was really small, I thought it would be a floor-to-ceiling one, especially for this price point, which isn't particularly low. Besides the bathroom, the only tissues available were on the bedside table, which you had to reach for every time. Other than that, it was decent! If you don't have super high expectations, I'd still recommend staying here."

"The next day we went to Jinyun Xiandu and chose this place as a stopover and rest. It is more than an hour's drive from the Xiandu scenic area. "This is a newly opened orange-themed restaurant, right next to Yintai Department Store and very close to the Chuzhou Prefectural Government Office. We went shopping in the evening, then browsed the supermarket in Yintai to buy some food for the next day. We were quite satisfied; it was clean. However, when we got back to take a shower, we almost slipped and fell. Water was overflowing from the bathroom, spilling all over the outside of the door. We put two towels outside, but they were soaked with water. The renovation inspection was a bit sloppy. The repairman was very kind; he came over, said it was the same room we had been in before, and he couldn't fix it that night. He brought five towels and cleaned it up for us. I didn't want to make things difficult for the repairman, so I later told the front desk about the situation."

This B&B is truly stunning. From the moment I walked in, I was captivated by its warmth and comfort. The rooms are beautifully decorated, each revealing the owner's thoughtfulness and taste. The bed is soft and comfortable, and after a night there, I felt completely rejuvenated. The housekeeper was also attentive, welcoming, and non-intrusive. This was by far the most delightful stay of our trip. Staying in an old house within an ancient village offered a truly unique experience. The old house was incredibly well-preserved, and every decorative detail showcased the owner's thoughtful touches. The room itself was thoughtfully modernized to suit contemporary guests, and yes, it really, really, really had a smart toilet! 🚽 We had dinner at the guesthouse both nights, ordering from the owner. While the prices were a little higher than outside, the ingredients were exquisite, the preparation was refined, and the dining atmosphere was wonderfully atmospheric. The food itself was very satisfying. (I absolutely loved the tofu, which is apparently a local specialty). Also, when you're exploring the village, don't forget to say hello to the local dogs! 🐶 They're all very friendly, and we became good pals with them over our two-day stay.

The B&B is located at the highest point of the mountain. It happened to rain during the two days of the trip. If you like a different Chenjiapu, don’t complain about the bad weather, enjoy the moment, wear a jacket and get wet in the rain, at that moment freedom reaches its peak. He introduced us to the village when he arrived late that day, called us in advance to ask what time we would arrive, and even helped us carry our luggage. The hotel is amazing, beautifully decorated, very well situated right next the cableway entrance, situated in a very lovely village, the view from our room was lovely and peaceful. The hotel is super confortable and very clean. But above all, what made our stay unforgettable was the very warm welcoming of the owners that made us feel like home. They were taking care of us like parents would do, helping us with many things, they were absolutely lovely. Will never forget our stay there, thanks to them for making our stay there unforgettable.

The hotel is in central location, walking distance to the old part of town and surrounded by food options. All rooms face a busy intersection with traffic and commerce noise starting early in the morning until 10pm. Windows will block part of noise but not all. Gym is just a pair of treadmills, don't expect a workout space. Staff is very attentive and willing to help. Beds, pillows and sheets are comfortable and the shower is good. However, if you are not a smoker, I don't recommend staying here, nor in any other Ji hotel. I travel extensively and tried Ji hotels in several Chinese cities from North to South. They are consistent with service, cleanliness and bed comfort, but all of them have a major issue of not enforcing the non smoking rule, and besides that, their air conditioner system brings smokey air from different rooms directly into yours. It is a pity. Unfortunately, beautiful China is full of selfish smokers. We need better enforcement and at least air purifiers in each room.

The hotel is new and clean, located at the back part of fairlytale castle of toys. Gym is just a pair of treadmills and a few dumbells, don't expect a full workout space. Staff is very attentive and willing to help. Beds, pillows and sheets are comfortable and the shower is good. We loved our weekend stay here as a quiet and green nature getaway from Shanghai (3hr train ride). We arrived late in the evening, but the provided taxi service from Qingtian was great (40mins, 80rmb). Our host Nancy was so sweet, spoke great English, made us wonderful coffees and even took us on a little tour of the village and vegetable gardens. The accomodation is in a small village with 500yo houses, where mostly elderly people still live. We went on two nice 2-3hrs hikes, to the waterfalls and temple and towards another village. Food was great too: lovely rice flake porridge and many other things for breakfast, free tea and snacks, and in the evening we got a lovely noodle soup. Our lastminute vegetarian request was easily accomodated. Bed and shower were lovely and a good heater was provided to warm the room. Would definitely recommend, we hope to come back in spring to see the flower fields!
