"The Fu Hua Hotel in Macau was a fantastic choice for my solo trip. The reception service was impeccable—friendly, efficient, and professional from check-in to check-out. The location is excellent, just a short walk from the historic old town, making it perfect for exploring Macau’s heritage sites on my own. Clean room and great value. Highly recommended for solo travelers."

The hotel offers 259 stylish rooms with multifunctional furniture designed to increase comfort and privacy during your stay. Rooms are fitted with strategically placed power outlets and USB ports to support multiple device usage. You’ll enjoy a comfortable bed, a refreshing shower, office-style and leisure accouterments, and a Chinese and Western-style breakfast buffet — all created to allow for a relaxed, easygoing travel experience.

"The air conditioning in the room was very loud, whether it was on or off. The other amenities and facilities were pretty good. No adapter was needed, and there were plenty of mirrors. Tea bags, coffee, and a mini-fridge were provided. The room itself was small, but the bathroom was spacious. Next time I visit, I'll definitely stay somewhere else, even though this was an upgraded room. However, I checked reviews for every hotel, and no place in the same price range had quiet air conditioning, so it might be a common issue."

"We spontaneously decided to visit Macau during the May Day holiday, and since we were traveling with a child, I looked for a hotel with convenient transportation. We entered through the Hengqin Port, took bus 25B to Grand Lisboa, and then it was just a few hundred meters walk to the hotel. The hotel's decor had a very authentic Macanese style, with a quaint charm. The room was spacious and cozy, and the cleanliness was excellent, with no missed spots and a very clean carpet. The breakfast, in particular, was truly outstanding. It felt like a proper breakfast restaurant, offering very authentic Macanese dim sum with substantial ingredients. Each person could order two steamed dishes and one noodle dish (rice vermicelli or regular noodles). The cream bun was delicious, even better than those from a bakery. The beef brisket ho fun was also very flavorful. The beef tripe and curry squid were fantastic, and the shrimp dumplings were packed with whole, large shrimp. It was truly excellent. Even at check-out, my child said they hadn't had enough of the breakfast yet."

Located at the hottest travel trend area of Macau with convenient traffic network. Entertaining and shopping centers are just around the corner – your first choice for business or leisure trip to Macau. Guest rooms are modernly designed and equipped with temperature control, LCD TV, in room safe deposit box. Looking more to enjoy your stay just like you are at home? A kitchenette with fridge, electrical stove and kettle is the answer.

"I chose this hotel for my trip to Macau during peak season to watch a table tennis match, and overall I was quite satisfied. It offered good value for money. **Environment:** The hotel environment is pretty good. Downstairs there's a convenience store where you can buy water, snacks, instant noodles, etc. Nearby is Broadway Food Street with popular eateries like Zexianji Egg Waffles and Tsui Wah Restaurant. Across the street is Galaxy Macau, and it's about a 10 to 15-minute walk to the Galaxy Arena, which was very convenient for watching the matches. You can reach Rua do Cunha in about five minutes to enjoy all sorts of food, and it's also very close to The Venetian. **Cleanliness:** It was very clean. Despite having many facilities, the room was kept very tidy, and every item was spotless. **Service:** The service was decent. I needed to pay a 500 MOP deposit upon check-in, and the process was quick. **Facilities:** The facilities were generally good. The pillows were a bit high and firm, making them not very comfortable to sleep on, but everything else was excellent. There were even cooking utensils and an induction cooker, so you could prepare your own meals. The room was quite spacious. The only issue was an intermittent noise at night, either from the air conditioner or an exhaust fan, which was a bit loud and affected my sleep. Other than that, there were no problems."

Renovated in 2023, the Grand Harbour Hotel offers both holiday makers and business travelers a pleasant stay in Macau. The hotel offers easy access to Macau International Airport, just 9km away. Keeping busy is easy, with St. Augustine's Square, Macao Museum and Na Tcha Temple all nearby. After a long day of sightseeing, guests can retire to the comfort of the hotel. For guests traveling with families, this hotel is consistently one of the most popular choices.

"I booked this hotel for a weekend trip to Macau with my parents. The location is a bit out of the way, but Macau is small, and public transport is convenient. It's a 30-minute walk to St. Paul's Ruins, or four bus stops, and getting to the border gates is easy. However, there aren't many dining options near the hotel; after 9 PM, apart from the supermarket right outside, there's nowhere to eat. The lobby on the first floor is tiny, more like a guesthouse. The family room itself was quite spacious, but the furnishings were old and basic. The price was very high for a weekend, over 800 RMB on Ctrip, while it's only around 300 RMB on Sundays and weekdays. A night at a luxurious hotel in Fisherman's Wharf only costs 500-600 RMB. This was the worst hotel we stayed at during our entire trip."

The Metropole Hotel Macau is located at the popular commercial and shopping center of Macau, surrounded by numerous major business and tourist attractions, handy to New Yan Han, the largest shopping Center in Macau.

"The hotel's location is superb, offering excellent transport links with shuttle buses available in all directions. It's just a stone's throw from the Ruins of St. Paul's and right in front of Yaohan Department Store. Famous entertainment complexes like Grand Lisboa, Wynn, and MGM are easily reachable within 10 minutes. For trips to Taipa's Parisian Macao, Venetian Macao, Rua do Cunha, or Hac Sa Beach, bus number 25 will get you there for just six MOP. The guest rooms boast an elegant and opulent European style. Although the hotel is older, the facilities are well-maintained and fully functional. While not overly spacious, the rooms are thoughtfully designed and comfortable, maintaining a respectable standard. The linens are like new, reflecting the hotel's high management standards, which truly deserves praise. The cleanliness is impeccable, and the service is quite satisfactory, especially their excellent luggage storage service. What's particularly impressive is the complete absence of noise despite being in such a bustling area, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep – truly satisfying! The value for money is outstanding! Around the hotel, the nearby streets and alleys offer a wide array of dining options, with various Chinese and Western restaurants to choose from. A dim sum restaurant is right around the corner, so you can fill up on breakfast before heading out to explore. Due to other commitments, I only stayed for one night in a rush. This will definitely be my go-to hotel on my next visit!"

"Downsides: The biggest drawback is that check-in isn't allowed until after 3:00 PM. The front desk staff also came across as quite cold. Upsides: The room was clean and spacious, with a modern design! Plus, there are plenty of great restaurants around the hotel, and a bus stop is less than 100 meters away. A taxi from the hotel to Macau Airport only cost MOP 58."

"## Location: Absolutely a fantastic 5-star location! The hotel is directly opposite Sands, and Fisherman's Wharf is right next to Sands. March is the off-peak season in Macau, so there's no direct bus from Hengqin Port to Sands. You need to transfer at The Venetian, but it's still quite convenient. From Sands to the hotel, you have to cross a pedestrian bridge, but there's a 24-hour elevator. Once you exit the elevator, it's not a long walk in either direction, which is very helpful for travelers with luggage. ## Surroundings: To the right of the hotel, there's a small alley that leads directly to Macao Polytechnic University, less than 100 meters away, making it super convenient for students taking exams there. A 5-minute walk to the left will take you to the Lotus Square, and you can also see the Golden Lotus from the pathway behind the hotel. If you head right out of the hotel and walk straight down the main road for 15-20 minutes, you can reach the Grand Lisboa and Macau Tower. There are plenty of dining options nearby, probably due to its proximity to the university, with choices for all budgets. ## Facilities: The hotel reception is on the second floor. The interior facilities are complete, and the bedding and amenities are good. The room also has a refrigerator. The room isn't huge but doesn't feel cramped. ## Hygiene: The room was cleaned very well and felt comfortable. However, the windows are sealed, so upon first entering, there was a slight musty smell due to lack of ventilation. Thankfully, it dissipated after turning on the air conditioning and ventilation system. ## Environment: The hallway soundproofing isn't great; you can hear people walking and talking outside the room. Traffic noise from the street outside also comes through at night. However, this seems to be a common issue with hotels and can't be avoided. ## Service: The front desk staff are busy but very responsible, and they can switch between Mandarin and Cantonese freely for guests. A deposit is required for check-in, and Alipay is accepted."

HHolichat- BonnieThe front desk staff, Erica, Yoyo, Ying, and Mia, were all incredibly friendly and helpful. The hotel itself is fantastic, with high-end amenities. My room had a Dyson, a coffee machine, and a smart toilet. The rooftop observation deck offers breathtaking sunset views! Women also receive complimentary fresh flowers, and a free printed photo as a souvenir!

GGuest UserOverall, it's good value for money. However, I hope the hotel can provide two room cards as standard. The bathroom should have combs, hooks for hanging clothes, and disposable towels. The bathtub is too slippery and it's difficult to step over the high edge to shower. 😩 I hope they can provide a small stool to help with getting into the shower. I slipped this time, so everyone please be careful!

GGuest UserThe hotel's location is excellent. It's just a few minutes' walk to the Grand Lisboa, and popular attractions like the Ruins of St. Paul's are also easily accessible within a ten-minute walk. A big plus is the included breakfast, which is clean, healthy, and very convenient.

DDuanduanzhuaojiI arrived during a heavy downpour, struggling with my large suitcase, so I booked this hotel last minute for a place to stay. Since it was too early for check-in, the hotel kindly stored my luggage, which was a very thoughtful service. The location was convenient for getting around, the room was spacious, and the toiletries were well-stocked. Overall, it was a great experience. My trip to Macau this time was quite rushed, so I hope to visit again soon!

GGuest UserThe staff were quite nice, and when I checked in at noon, the room seemed pretty good in all aspects. But then, after I came back from exploring in the evening, the nightmare began! As soon as I entered the room, there was a faint smell of smoke, but I wasn't sure where it was coming from, so I just assumed it was wafting in from outside the window (not asking to check or change rooms at that point was a big mistake). Then, around 11 or 12 o'clock, when I was getting ready for bed, the smoke smell became increasingly strong. After searching around for a long time, I finally confirmed it was almost certainly coming through the bathroom's exhaust fan or ventilation system!!! Since I was traveling alone, I didn't dare call someone to follow up in the middle of the night. I just suffered through the night until daylight, had breakfast, and left immediately. Ambiance: Smoke smell! Smoke smell! Smoke smell! Super strong! If you have rhinitis, you absolutely must avoid this place! It was so unbearable, like torture (it must have been the smoke coming from the exhaust fan in the picture 🚬).

SSadanandtianshiRight by the airport entrance, this is an excellent choice for early morning flights! Facing the airport, my room had a window with a view. The soundproofing was great; I couldn't hear any airport noise at all, which made for a very good night's sleep. Group check-in for room cards is on the ground floor, but individual guests need to go to the 11th-floor front desk to check in.

GGuest UserFor Macau, this room size is pretty decent. There's no strange smell in the room, and it's very clean. The view is also beautiful. Since I was attending a concert at Broadway, it was only about a 5-minute walk away. You can walk indoors from Broadway to Galaxy, and then from the exit next to the Apple flagship store, cross the road and walk for 5-10 minutes to reach The Venetian. It's incredibly convenient. Everyone can take the Galaxy shuttle bus from the airport, then walk through the mall to Broadway, and then walk to the hotel. It's super convenient! Walking to Rua do Cunha only takes about 20 minutes. This hotel is highly recommended.

GGuest UserI brought my child to Macau for a competition and only stayed one night. This room type has one large bed and a sofa bed, which was perfect for 2 adults and 1 child. The room was clean and quite spacious. It's very close to the Border Gate and Qingmao Port, just a 13-minute walk away. Across the road downstairs is the Lai Lai Supermarket, and on the second floor of the hotel, there's a Chinese restaurant with reasonable prices, making it very convenient. Both the front desk and room service staff spoke Mandarin and were very friendly.
