"I liked this B&B at first sight~ It is located in Snail Alley, in the center of Tainan’s old city. The community is very humane; the interior decoration is completely in the style of an old house. The boss was very patient and considerate. He spent almost half an hour telling me about all the delicious places in Tainan, and none of them were too bad.
The only drawback is that the soundproofing is not very good and you will be woken up by the sounds outside. Friends who are used to going to bed early and getting up early will not be affected. People like me who like to stay up late may want to consider it."

"The location is great, there are many small shops during the week! Parking is available in an underground parking lot nearby, but it is not far away. The room is large and clean. You need to change your indoor shoes downstairs to check in. It is very hygienic and the staff are very friendly."

"The boss is super nice! ! If you like retro style friends hurry up and stay! Every small detail is also beautiful! From the gate to every corner of the room is also retro style! Love this place very much! Note that there is no elevator, all take the stairs, if you have mobility problems, you should pay attention, downstairs is a bar, you can drink downstairs, but the sound insulation is not very good, if you are easy to wake up friends may not be used to it."

"Fully remote check-in/out. Unique room setting & interior. Not for ppl with big & huge luggage as there are no lifts (unless u are able to leave your bulky luggage on the 1st floor). Common and free use of washing machine, & fridge. Front of accommodation is not pretty as there are renovation works going around. View from room also looks into a deserted, broken area next door. The room itself is great tho! I love the lightings and furniture is comfortable. Sofa & coffee table is available. Note of advise: contact the owner before your arrival to get the pass code to enter the premises."

"The hotel provided early luggage storage service and helped to store things with friends in advance, so that I could get the tickets to watch the game smoothly. It is suggested that customers can be provided with early check-in in the future. Checking in at 4 o'clock is too late, which would make me want to move to Prince Hotel which is closer to National Cheng Kung University!"

"Super, super, super good host! The room is very clean and meticulous, and the size of the room is also great~ I also like the warm and beautiful living room of the sister. I will sit in the living room when I have time and chat with the sister. She takes care of us attentively, gives us delicious food, and recommends a lot of places to eat and visit, many of which are places that tourists can't find at all! I like it very much, it's a very, very happy place. Tainan is my favorite place on this trip. I will definitely come back to play and live here again if I have the chance in the future!

There are some small ants on the first floor, but they don’t bite."

"The room was a good size, very cozy and neat. For extended stays, the bed isn't made, but fresh towels and trash removal are provided. The service was very attentive, and the staff were all very friendly and welcoming. My only minor complaint was about the communal washing area on the second floor of the back building. Specifically, at the outdoor sink area, when I was brushing my teeth at 7 AM, there were so many mosquitoes flying around my feet, making my legs incredibly itchy! I had to keep moving my feet to avoid being bitten."

GGuest UserGreat location and interesting old house. It was as shown in the pictures. The host is very friendly and recommended a few places to go and explained the house. He could have given more detailed instructions on the car park, which is closeby but you need to park in the area 62 to be closeby to the house. It’s a long car park so it’s seems far from where you go in but it’ll work out! The car park right next to the house is very expensive.
The house faces towards the car park and the street to the motorcycles are a bit noisy.
Water and cups are provided by the hotel.
Trip.com didn’t tell the owner my email or phone number so he couldn’t contact me and there was no one for checkin. We called him and he came quickly, just would be nicer for everyone if he had those details. Otherwise I recommend proactively contacting him.

Ppathfinder1We had a great stay at Kindness Day Hotel! It’s small but sleek and modern, with a cozy vibe. The staff were super friendly and helpful, especially for us English speakers, which made everything so easy.
The lounge with unlimited coffee and cookies was perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. You get a free drink ticket each night for beer or juice, which is a nice perk. Just be sure to use them the same day as they expire. We didn’t get a chance to use ours!
The breakfast buffet was decent, not amazing, but still a nice option to have. With a bus stop and bike station right outside and plenty of restaurants and attractions nearby, it’s a super convenient and welcoming place to stay. Highly recommend!

GGuest UserWas worried about the mixed Google reviews but Villa area was nicer than expected. Recommended to come on a weekday so there are fewer people. Enjoyed the public hot springs (room came with 1 coupon) and the personal room hot springs). Booked Tuscany room and the hot springs are located outdoors, you can still do a nude dip but take note that there are other rooms above you, can wrap a towel from the room the pools. Room itself is smaller than expected but quite decent. Some flies around but otherwise good.

MMichelle ElziraWe cannot stop our praises for this hotel! We intended to just stay the night and explore a little of Tainan before heading to Kaoshiung. The friendly staff engaged us in conversation and shared so passionately about Tainan that we decided to stay an extra day/night in Tainan. They even planned our itinerary for us. We are thankful for the value-added service of helping us warm up our food (we bought food as our stomachs had limited capacity) in the mornings/nights. We got the double room with no window but hardly felt suffocated as the room was spacious, spotless and sooo comfortable. The carpark was a short 3min walk away. We enjoyed the facilities, but what caught our hearts was the heartwarming service from the staff. We do not have the habit of asking to take a photo with hotel staff, but for this hotel, we asked to as we wanted to remember the wonderful experience we had here.

AAnonymous UserIt is about a 7-minute walk from Tainan Railway Station. Although Tainan has a lot of undulating terrain, if you consider this as a city feature, it actually doesn't feel inconvenient.
The location of this hotel is very good. It is within a 10 to 20-minute walk from the main tourist attractions, making it very convenient for itinerary arrangements.
Please note that there are limited hours when the counter is manned. Please be especially careful if you arrive outside of service hours as the main door is automatically locked and check-in may be inconvenient.
The room itself is very clean. Although it doesn't have many facilities, it has basically everything you need.
The only downside was the bathroom didn't drain very well. The shower curtain was too short, so the floor next to the toilet got wet when I showered. And if you lay out the bathroom mat in advance, it will easily get wet before you use it. I hope that some improvements can be made in the ground slope design in the future.

And you have to be careful when riding a motorcycle in the alleys.
The room is quite big, with a TV and a full-length mirror. The water in the toilet is quite strong and the temperature is hot enough.
There are many bars nearby, many of which can be reached within a 10-minute walk.
Overall, I think it's great to live here at this price.
