Water Meworld is located in the urban core area opposite the Taipei Railway Station. It is an important transportation hub connecting the high-speed rail, Taiwan Railway, MRT, bus, and passenger railways. It has an excellent geographical advantage.
"The location is very convenient, with Starbucks, convenience stores, and fast-food restaurants all nearby. However, communication with the receptionist was quite difficult. I stayed for four days, and when I called to request a shower gel refill and a bed sheet change, they only replaced the towels each time.
The bed sheets were quite old and had several stains. The air conditioning worked well, but the remote control didn’t seem to adjust the temperature properly. The shower had hot and cold water, but the temperature was inconsistent and difficult to balance. The room lighting was also too dim. The Wi-Fi was generally fast, but it wasn’t very reliable, as there were times when the connection became unstable.
Overall, I still had a good experience, and I think the hotel offers good value for the money."

"The room is clean with full length glass window that allows the view on a bustling cross junction of Taipei street, at an angle you will be able to see the Tapei 101 especially at night with the lightings. The space is sufficient to have 2 suitcase open up fully.
The location is superb, with the iconic building and mega billboard is easy to locate the hotel from 2 streets away. There are also local eateries and 24hrs convenience stall around the hotel."

"I had a pleasant stay at Dandy Hotel. The room was spacious, spotless, and very well maintained.
The breakfast was simple and okay. A nice bonus was the 24hrs coffee machine in the lobby. The complimentary cookies provided in the room was tasty.
The hotel's location is excellent. It is located right next to MRT Exit 1, making it incredibly convenient for getting around Taipei. However, Exit 1 only has stairs, so travellers with luggage may find Exit 6 more convenient, which is still only a 3 minute walk from the hotel.
There is also a 7-Eleven right next to the hotel, while a FamilyMart and Subway both within a 2-minute walk.
There are some room renovations going on from 10am till 6pm currently. So if you're in the room at during these times, it might be noisy because of the drilling works.
Overall, it's a clean, comfortable hotel in a very strategic location, making it a great base for exploring Taipei. I would happily stay here again."

It's within walking distance of Taipei Main Station via the underground shopping malls, which was a huge help in sheltering from rain and wind. Across the street from the hotel, there's a 7-Eleven, and Ningxia Night Market is right nearby. Dihua Street and Zhongshan Station are also just about a 10-minute walk away. The transportation links are excellent for getting anywhere.
There's a YouBike station close by, making it easy to enjoy sightseeing by bicycle. It's a good idea to check how to use the service on a Japanese app beforehand for peace of mind.

The room was meticulously cleaned, and the linens were spotless. While some areas show their age, the hygiene was impeccable. The sink and shower areas also show some wear, but they were perfectly functional and comfortable to use. Being in an upper-floor room with a window, it felt much more open than rooms without one.
The TV offered about 40 channels, and I even found myself getting engrossed in some nostalgic Japanese shows.

For dinner, you could enjoy the night market or bring food back to the room to pair with a beer – both are great options. The room is compact, making it an ideal size for 1-2 people.

"The room (double deluxe?) was rather small (for 2 people may be too small), but clean enough, and had all necessary things: kettle with tea and coffee, refrigerator, cloths hungers, window with mosquito net, AC, TV, hair drier, hot water, clean towels. The room was a bit worn-down, a bit dump, and the walls can use a better cleaning. There is a nice public area and rooftop, where you can have free coffee, juices, noodles and snacks. That's a nice touch. The location is great. it's not a fancy hotel, but as a place to spend the nights in Taipei - quiet decent."

The hotel is very clean and well maintained. Rooms and common areas were tidy and comfortable, which makes a big difference when you are staying at a budget property.
The location is excellent. It is situated very close to a metro station, which makes getting around Taipei very convenient. For travelers planning to explore the city using public transport, the location works very well.
Service was also very good. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout the stay.
In terms of amenities, travelers should manage expectations. The hotel provides the basics but not everything you might find in a full-service hotel. It is recommended to bring your own toiletries as only minimal items are provided in the room.
Breakfast is simple and delivered as a packed option, typically something like a sandwich or a burger-style item. It is basic but perfectly adequate. Anonymous UserThe rooms are clean. You can use the hairdryer for free. There is also free mineral water and snacks every day. You can fill the water in the lobby too. There is a window, but it's not very big. It's close to Main Station, HSR Airport, and the bus station. You can walk there.
There are a lot of food stalls, and the prices are lower than in Ximending.

This hotel is very close to Taipei Main Station. The environment is clean and tidy, and although the facilities are basic, there's a sofa, which is acceptable for the price. The best part is the abundance of food options nearby, excellent transportation links, and it's just a few minutes from the MRT, making it very convenient and great for exploring. I originally booked a windowless room, but the hotel upgraded me to a room with a window, which made for an even more comfortable stay. I'll definitely choose this hotel again in the future.

Guest UserThis is our second time staying in Stat Beauty Hotel for their Luxury Double Room. This time we stay for 4 nights and the location of the hotel is near the MTR station and the night market of Shillin Night Market. It will about 15 - 20 minutes from the hotel walk to the MTR station or take 20 - 26 minutes from the hotel walk to Shillin Night Market.
The room we booked is big enough for us it two persons that stay and the room is nice but the hotel always provide one pillow for one person . If I sleep on the bed with only one pillow then I can see the rooftop and not the TV. I suggest to the hotel to provide two pillows for each person to stay without our request, so that he can watch the TV easily.
The bathroom is big and come with a big bathtub. The water pressure is now t very strong but just good enough for shower.
I would like to make a bit complaint to the old lady for the the housekeeping. She only come to change towels, refill toiletries and thru rubbish only and never do cleaning and arrange the bedding. So on my third day O have towels request to the front seat to tell her to clean our toilet.
Overall we are happy to stay in Star Beauty Hotel and would like to recommend this hotel to other travellers. I will stay again if I come to Taipei in the future.

Irene 887So far so good, room was comfy enough. Good area, walk just 3minutes away from shillin night market and 6minutes to metro station. The problem is there is no elevator to our room, meanwhile we got 3 big luggages 😕

Guest UserOverall, the triple room we booked was decent. It was spacious enough, and the location was great, being close to Ximending, which made shopping and dining out very convenient.
However, the soundproofing was a bit lacking. We could hear noises from the hallway and traffic from the street at night. Also, there was quite a bit of dust on the air conditioner, making me feel like it needs better cleaning. For someone as sensitive as me, staying for a long time would be a bit uncomfortable. All in all, it was an average, convenient stay.

The young men and women at the front desk were incredibly friendly, enthusiastic, thoughtful, and attentive. They helped us plan our itinerary and transportation for our trip to Hualien Yilan, and also shared recommendations for delicious food and fun activities there. The room was also quite neat and clean, overall everything was excellent. Definitely recommend!
