"When I came to Weihai three or four years ago, I booked this guesthouse, and I was very satisfied with it at the time. So this time, I chose it again. However, the check-in experience was not as satisfying as the last time. The first obvious issue was the elevator – it took forever to catch one. The second was the room's cleanliness; the glass door of the bathroom was completely grimy, and the shower area was right outside the bathroom door. After showering, the entire bathroom floor would be wet if you needed to use the toilet. Plus, the shower drain was clogged and didn't drain, leading to standing water. The third problem was the sewer smell. It was somewhat tolerable with the windows open during the day, but at night, with the windows closed, the smell filled the entire room. Luckily, I only stayed for two nights. If you're booking the same room type as mine, I suggest you inquire about these issues beforehand. The location is convenient; the beach is right downstairs, and there are people singing on the beach at night. For this room type, parents with small children should be aware of the steps, as kids might trip easily at first."

"This B&B is located on a slope and is a single-family three-story white building. If you are driving by yourself, you can park on the side of the road, but it is not particularly convenient if you have a lot of luggage.
The lobby on the first floor is beautifully decorated and has a sense of slow life. The two girls were in charge and helped carry our luggage. They also enthusiastically recommended places to eat, drink and play in the surrounding area. They also recommended that we go to Heqing Pier to buy fresh seafood.
I booked a mountain view king bed room on the second floor. The room is quite large and has a small balcony. But there is basically no mountain view, because there are buildings nearby. There are also cute little tea sets prepared in the room, as well as squid shreds given to hotel guests, which is thoughtful.
The room size is not large, but the basic facilities are all available, and necessary items are provided free of charge. The mattress is on the hard side and not particularly comfortable to sleep on. The shower room in the bathroom uses a curtain, which doesn't seem to work very well. Water always leaks out from underneath. Furthermore, the shower water pressure is very low, so you may have to use water at off-peak hours. I stayed for two nights during the National Day holiday. The children next door were very noisy on the second night and I didn't sleep well."

"The location is excellent, right near Hanlefang, making dining and shopping very convenient. It's also not far from the train station, so getting around is a breeze. The room was clean, tidy, and spacious, with a nice sea view. Overall, it was a very comfortable stay and great value for money. The owner's service was also fantastic; they even thoughtfully allowed us a late check-out, which made our travel plans much more relaxed. A great experience overall, highly recommended for anyone visiting Weihai!"

"Service: From the hotel staff to the restaurant waitresses, everyone was lovely and very enthusiastic.
Location: It's in a prime spot on Torch 8th Street, very convenient. You can directly access Torch 8th Street from the hotel's second and third floors by elevator, so no need to climb hills, and it's great for photos.
Room: We booked a sea-facing room, but trees were blocking the view, so we could barely see the ocean directly, which was a bit disappointing. You definitely need to stay on a higher floor here! And those rooms are even cheaper than ours!
Cleanliness: It was just before peak season, so it was getting a bit crowded, and the cleaning wasn't as thorough. There were wrappers from kids' snacks near the sofa and some unidentified hair on the bed.
If you like lively places, this is good, but if you prefer quiet, I'd suggest the Golden Sands area; it's less crowded and the hotels there are better. This place feels more like a guesthouse than a proper hotel.
Overall, the value for money isn't great, so I wouldn't highly recommend it."

"The hotel is very new and the service is very good. I contacted the airport pick-up in advance and the minion car was very popular with the children. There is a beach right outside. Children can dig in the sand freely. There are not many people there and there are many photo spots. The hotel also provides travel photography. Previously, Sanya offered 5 free negatives for travel photography, but here they actually give them all because the new store has opened to give back to customers, which feels like a profit. The only drawback is that there are too many windows that let in light, and the children wake up too early and start digging in the sand🤭🤭"

Anonymous UserThis was my first stay at an Orange Hotel, and it was a surprisingly delightful experience! The whole hotel is decorated with orange and circular elements, and the lobby has a lovely citrus scent. The staff at the front desk were all incredibly energetic and polite, making me feel right at home. The room was spacious, bright, and clean! The breakfast was both plentiful and delicious! Even the laundry room did a great job cleaning my clothes! Next time I'm in Weihai, I'll definitely be staying here again!

Extremely satisfied! The hotel's location is superb, right on the beach, perfect for kids. It was so convenient to head back to the hotel to clean up and change after a dip in the sea. Great for catching the sunrise in the morning. I only stayed one night this time, but I'll definitely be back. Yesterday, the waves were big, which was great fun. This morning, even though it was cloudy, I still got to see the sunrise, so getting up early was worth it – very lucky! Jiajiayue supermarket is right outside, super convenient, and the souvenir stalls at the entrance have beautiful items at reasonable prices. The hotel staff and front desk were all fantastic. The tall young man, the lady in the white shirt, and the student-looking young man in black clothes were all excellent, genuinely serving the guests. They even taught me to inflate my swimming ring when not in use to extend its lifespan. Oh, and the sharp furniture issue mentioned in some negative reviews has been resolved – they've installed corner protectors. The restaurant offers an incredibly rich variety of dishes.

ShuqichanelI wholeheartedly recommend Orange Hotel (Weihai Hanlefong Store)! I've stayed here multiple times, and the experience is consistently fantastic, always comfortable and reliable.
The front desk staff are incredibly warm and attentive, with excellent attitudes. They even proactively upgraded my room for free during check-in, which was a wonderful surprise as it was much more spacious! The hotel as a whole is clean and refreshing, and the signature Orange scent is very soothing. The bedding is soft, and the room's soundproofing is effective, ensuring a peaceful sleep.
The location is superb; you can walk to Hanlefong for dining and shopping, and it's also very close to Weihai Station, making both eating out and getting around incredibly convenient. The staff were always responsive to any requests and paid attention to every detail. Whether you're visiting Weihai for tourism or a short stay, this is my top choice. I'll definitely be staying here again next time!

The front desk service was intimate and thoughtful. Miss Sister not only took the initiative to inform the hotel next door during the decoration period, but also warmly recommended the delicious barbecue around. The hotel has a sufficient number of laundry and drying equipment, and there is no need to queue at all, which is very worry-free. Parking is convenient and the overall quality is stable online. The breakfast is rich in variety and tastes excellent, which is a highlight of this stay. The overall rest experience is comfortable and worth recommending!

I really love this hotel. Central, clean and comfortable. Liked the big picture of a greek island on the wall above the bed in my room, the view towards the harbour too. The staff at the reception is very friendly and helpful. Many thanks for giving me a free room upgrade, to let me check in early and let me place my little folding bicycle in the room. Had a great stay.

Hygienic: Very good, the bed and bathroom in the room are very clean.
Environment: Very good, simple and modern decoration, comfortable lighting.
Service: Very good, the staff provided room upgrades and late check-out services, and luggage storage, very intimate.

Guest UserThe location was good and there is a little gem of a restaurant just beside it where we got breakfast every day. We did try the hotel restaurant once but they said they didn’t serve food, which seems a bit pointless for a restaurant… the price was also fairly good, and the cleaner was always diligent making sure we had fresh bottles of water each day and clean towels
On the downside, it’s quite dirty. Tiled areas are fine but it seems they don’t have a vacuum. The rooms and hotel in general is a bit smelly. One of the lifts seemed to be constantly broken. There appeared to be only one staff member, the manager, who had a clue what she was doing (we weren’t checked in properly and our room keys kept resetting unless it was done by this one particular manager).
Other than that, it’s ok for the price.

Very very good! It's really cheap, beautiful and clean. The whole villa is very warm, the room is very warm, the public space (1st floor) is also convenient and beautiful (the difference from the hotel is the human touch!), there is an open kitchen on the first floor, a bathroom as clean as the room, a big table (you can play board games with friends), a big sofa, a full-length mirror, and even tools for catching seafood. Sunset Bay is at the door, which is more beautiful than the sea in Qingdao and there are much fewer people. Thank you boss for upgrading the room during the off-season! It feels like an incomparable and happy accommodation experience. Fall in love with Weihai!

Guest UserMy previous review was a bit rushed, so I'm adding more details about my recent stay. The room was exceptionally clean, with every nook and cranny spotless. The bathroom had stable water pressure and hot water was always available. The location is very convenient, close to restaurants and shops. The staff were all very kind and patient, and quick to respond to any issues. My entire stay was comfortable and relaxing, and I genuinely recommend this place. I'll definitely choose it again for my next trip.
