"My stay at the Atour Hotel Weihai was truly excellent this time around. The location is a huge plus, right next to Happiness Gate, and you can step right out to the sea. It's so convenient for walks and enjoying the sea views, and the night scenery is beautiful too. The hotel overall is clean and tidy, and the room decor is cozy, giving you a sense of quiet comfort and being well looked after. The bedding is super comfortable, and I slept really soundly. The service also deserves a special mention; the front desk staff were incredibly friendly and attentive to details. Amenities were complete, hygiene was spot on, and breakfast was abundant – I usually skip breakfast, but I couldn't resist here! For my two-night, three-day stay, on the second day they even brought four bottles of water and two bottles of honey black tea. That's why I booked two nights in Yantai and five nights in Qingdao. Atour is definitely a brand you can trust."

"I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights during my 3-day trip to Weihai. I initially thought it was a small, boutique guesthouse, but later found out it actually has 48 rooms. It's located in Weihai's Xiaoshidao Scenic Area, right next to Huoju Bajie, with a beach nearby. It's a quiet retreat despite being in a popular area. I usually have high standards for accommodation and rarely stay in guesthouses, but I was generally quite satisfied with this one. Let's talk about the pros: the facilities are complete, with free snacks and drinks, good Wi-Fi, and a TV that supports screen mirroring. The bedding is comfortable, and the toiletries are the popular Anaya brand, which has a very soothing scent. The shower pressure is excellent, and the guesthouse is very quiet at night. The environment is absolutely beautiful, and the service is also great. They actively greet guests and help with luggage, and even drive you to the parking lot after check-out. If you have any issues, you can contact the butler via WeChat, and they respond promptly and are very accommodating. Now for the cons: the guesthouse's location is a double-edged sword. Getting in and out by car can be quite congested. There are hardly any good restaurants near the surrounding attractions, so you'll need to drive a few kilometers for meals. Breakfast can get crowded and a bit chaotic. The hotel's entertainment facilities are quite limited, with only a small pool suitable for children and a coffee bar. Overall, I was still very satisfied and would recommend it."

For example: the room cleaning wasn't thorough enough (there were dropped invoices and medicine tubes under the bed). The bathtub drain was clogged. The pool didn't have towels or a swimsuit spinner, making it feel more like a public pool than a hotel amenity. There were no instructions for electronic devices like the TV in the room."

"I booked this hotel through Trip.com. Its location is excellent for public transport, very convenient. From the window, I could see Weigao Square and a partial sea view. It's close to attractions and shopping. The room had a full set of toiletries, and the mattress and bedding were clean and comfortable. The only downside is that the elevator is quite small, only fitting 2-3 people at a time. The hotel doesn't offer breakfast; instead, they provide vouchers for a 'Shen Gui Rou Bing' chain restaurant outside. The 10-yuan voucher is enough for a simple meal, but you'll need to pay extra if you want something better."

"The experience at Weihai Sylvia Hanlefang Store was fantastic. The room was spacious with a bathtub, offering a great view of the sports park downstairs. The hotel is very clean, and its location in the city center is perfect – just cross Weigao Plaza to reach the seaside football field. "The room was clean, facilities were new, and toiletries were well-stocked. The privacy was excellent; you needed to use your room card to access the guest room areas, and it was perfectly quiet at night. Breakfast was exquisite and delicious. The hotel itself was beautiful. Beyond the white buildings and the large seaside pool, even the small details were lovely. Laundry was convenient, and I never had to wait to use the laundry room. Turning left outside the hotel, you can walk along the boardwalk to Torch Eight Street. Turning right, you can reach Xiaoshi Island to go clamming and watch the sunset. Both are only about a ten-minute walk away. There's also a wonderful seaside cafe right next door. The service was great. The butler greeted us, helped with luggage upon arrival and departure, proactively asked about our needs during our stay, inquired if we had enough snacks, and the welcome fruit was abundant. Every day, we'd encounter a dairy cat roaming around – it was clean, plump, and seemed to be living quite well. The downside is that the restaurant only serves breakfast, and the highly-rated dinner options are no longer available. Besides a newly opened restaurant right outside (with no reviews yet, and judging by the sign, it also seems to sell health products), the nearest restaurants are a ten-minute walk to Xiaoshi Island. This meant we had to go out twice a day, preventing us from simply relaxing at the hotel."
