"Overall, my stay was a mixed bag. The hotel's location is excellent, with plenty of dining and shopping options nearby, which remains a definite plus. However, there's significant room for improvement concerning room facilities, cleanliness, and service details. Pros: ✅ Convenient Location: The hotel is surrounded by numerous restaurants and supermarkets, making daily life incredibly easy. ✅ Front Desk Service Was Okay: The front desk staff's attitude was acceptable. Areas for Improvement: ⚠️ Cramped Room Space: The hotel rooms are very compact. ⚠️ Bed Setup Affected Sleep: The double bed I booked was actually made from two single beds pushed together. I kept falling into the gap between them, which severely impacted my sleep quality. ⚠️ Towel Cleanliness Issues: The towels had stains, indicating that hygiene needs to be stepped up. ⚠️ Lack of Essentials and Proactive Service: There was no soap provided in the room, and no staff member proactively replaced it. This significantly detracted from the overall comfort of the stay. Conclusion: Despite the hotel's good location and acceptable front desk service, the room size, bed design, towel cleanliness, and especially the lack of essential items (like soap) without proactive replenishment, significantly affected my experience. I hope the hotel can improve its facilities and the meticulousness of its service based on these points."

"The price-performance ratio was excellent, and there was free parking right in front of the building. Unfortunately, the TV was broken, and despite being told a technician would come, nothing happened. Also, there was no power outlet in the bathroom, so I couldn't blow-dry my hair or shave in front of the mirror. However, the breakfast was absolutely superb. Overall, it's a very good hotel, and I can definitely recommend it!"

"I had a great stay at Hotel Flandrischer Hof! The location is excellent — right in the heart of Cologne and just a short walk from everything I needed. My room was clean, comfortable, and quiet, which made it easy to relax after a busy day. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was tasty with a good variety. I’d definitely stay here again next time I visit the city. Great value for the price!"

"I would say this is most probably the cheapest stay in town with great breakfast. The location is bear to chocolate museum and shopping street. It’s a 20 minute walk to the cologne cathedral."

"The hotel was in a great location, right by the cathedral and close to the shopping district and mainline train station. The room was big, spacious and clean. However unfortunately at the moment there is a lot of construction work happening behind the hotel where our room was and it was very hard to sleep with such loud noises from 7am we also had to leave the windows open as it was very warm and there was no air conditioning in the room which also didnt help. There was a free coffee machine available to make hot drinks in the lobby to take to the room however it wasnt always working when we needed it. Otherwise good value hotel."

"A charming, modern, small hotel, located just a 10-minute walk from the train station and 5 minutes from the promenade, right in the heart of the old town. The rooms are exceptionally clean, and housekeeping is provided daily. They even cleaned the room on our departure day before we checked out. The beds are very comfortable, and the linens and towels are spotless and white. I honestly couldn't find any downsides; the staff were incredibly friendly. I definitely recommend this hotel and plan to visit again soon. Plus points include free bottled water, luggage storage, and a refrigerator. The air conditioning also works perfectly."

"Located at very strategic location. Walking distance to the main tourist attraction. Many food choices are nearby. The hotel also provides free pastry and coffee in the morning. Only downside, we only realise there is a 50% discount with selected parking garage after parked our car and checked in. This is important information that should be mentioned on the website."

"Excellent hotel, just a 2-minute walk from the metro. You can reach Cologne Cathedral in about 20 minutes on foot. The staff at the hotel are very pleasant, and they even let me check in early. The breakfast was superb, the mattress was great, but I had some issues with the pillows. Also, there were some concerns regarding soundproofing, though it's possible I just had very noisy neighbors."
