"Single bed was small and not particularly comfortable, double bed was better, however there was mould on the bathroom ceiling and the toilet seat wasn’t attached properly. We were only given two towels although the room was booked for three. Otherwise, the room was clean enough and the service was very helpful. Free parking which wasn’t clear when booking."

Our convenient location means the city's historic architecture and River Cam are on our doorstep. Many of Cambridge's best restaurants and bars are also within easy reach.

"The hotel is right next to Cambridge train station, which made getting around super easy. The weather was quite hot, but the room temperature was comfortable and controllable with the air conditioning. It was also quiet, with no disturbances. However, when I woke up in the morning, I found a small fly in the room, which was a bit off-putting. The window was closed, so I'm not sure how it got in."

"This hotel seems quite old. It's located near a busy road, so it can be noisy. There's no air conditioning, which might be uncomfortable during the summer. It offers free private parking, but the entrance is quite narrow. Breakfast is included and it's delicious."

"I stayed in Holiday inn during March in room 046. It was a very clean room on arrival with twin beds and a bigger than expected bathroom. It had a good shower with Dove washes. It was a 45 min walk from the Centre of Cambridge along Mill Road or you can get the No 2 bus that costs £3. It was a pleasant walk. The reception staff were very helpful and check in was quick. The room had a good temperature and it was cosy. The bed was very comfortable. The room had a kettle, TV and an iron. The breakfast area was very busy in the mornings. The hot breakfast was ok. The Coffee was Ok there were a range of pastries and muffins all Ok. There were a lot of poor behaved people with a lot of ill behaved children in the breakfast area. Overall I had a comfortable stay. The room itself was very quiet. The images provided are of the room and view from the window, the walk to the hotel. I hope they are helpful."

"Travelodge wouldn’t have been a bad memory except for TRIP that made it a horrible one for me , I definitely sure this would be my last dealing with them. Here is my ordeal with Travelodge and TRIP.com, on arriving the hotel I discovered the hotel has no air conditioning and it was terribly hot in London, I immediately notified the hotel of my intention to check out which they agreed to and are willing to give me a refund , unfortunately the TRIP customer service kept going round and round with the situation inorder for them to make me finish my stay at the hotel even with the fact that I complained it wasn’t comfortable, to be honest the hotel did their best to ensure I get my refund but trip messed everything up, there was practically nothing they didn’t do to make sure I didn’t check out even when someone from the hotel spoke with them about their willingness to give me a refund this is the hotel Ass. Manager ( Mrs Gosia) . I had a very terrible experience with trip and it is definitely going to be my last . I couldn’t sleep most of the night because of the terrible heat at night thanks to trip. 😞"

"The room was very tidy and nice. They had all the amenities, including soap, body wash, shampoo, tea, and instant coffee. They even had coffee pots. Towels were changed everyday too. There is no hair dryer, but they gave me enough towel to dry my long hair thoroughly though. The room I stayed was an attic room, with slanted ceiling, but I loved it because I could see the sky. There were blinders too, so the sun in the morning was not a worry for me. The room looks very much like a dorm, so there was a table that I can work on, with closet that I can hang my suits on too. It wasn't the cleanest, it had some spider webs in the corner of the room, but they were really in the corner and I was staying only to sleep, so it didn't bother me as much. I would definitely recommend the place for business travelers looking for a cheap accommodation in the middle of Cambridge University."

"The staff were enthusiastic and had bright smiles. They arrived early in the morning when I changed hotels. The staff told me that my room had been cleaned and they immediately handed it over to me. The equipment is complete and the tableware is available. I can cook for one night. The location is good, it takes 6 minutes to get to John Lewis. I am very happy to have Smart TV, so I can watch YouTube which I usually follow. The disadvantage is that it is close to the street and it is a bit noisy downstairs."

"El personal muy profesional y simpático, son muy serviciales y te ayudan en todo. Tiene un precio increíble para la calidad del sitio: habitaciones limpias, amplias y bien equipadas. El único problema que pondría es que el secador funcionaba a ratos, la temperatura de la ducha a veces era difícil serviciales controlar, y que solo tenía un enchufe al lado de la cama."

"There was a polish lady at the reception - she was AMAZING! EXTREMELY helpful, friendly, professional. I have stayed in many hotels, also international and 5 star - and she is TOP! One of hte best receptionist I have ever come across. The others were so-so, sometimes unfriendly or not organized, but she made up for all their failures and was EXCEPTIONAL. The door to my room was faulty - so the cleaners never managed to go inside and clean my room while I stayed there for 3 nights, and not all cards worked - so cleaners jsut did not bother to go inside- which was disappointing. Also, the soap dispensers do not work well - very hard to get any soap out. - needs fixing properly."

The hotel is a 15-20 minute drive from Cambridge. There's a gas station and a large supermarket next door with a good selection of items. Breakfast is standard, a typical English breakfast. The car park is spacious, perfect for those traveling by car, and the rooms are quite new.

Rooms with twin beds were scarce, so only accessible rooms were available. Despite my hesitation, I decided to book it. The hotel's facilities are quite good, and the security is excellent. There's also a market nearby where you can browse and get a feel for the local area.

The hotel is a very beautiful manor in the suburbs about 10km from Cambridge. There should be cows and sheep on the grassland in summer. I was attracted by other people's beautiful pictures when I made the reservation. After I checked in, I found it was really good, but I had to drive by myself and check in for free. The room was remodeled from the original dormitory, not quite but adequate, no air conditioning, slightly colder, breakfast quality is good, the environment is first-rate, it is recommended

I went there because the other colleges were having their mayballs and it was extremely loud. The facilities were fine although it was right beside a parking lot so it’s slightly loud at night. Also the soundproof between stories and between rooms are pretty bad I could hear people right across the hall opening and closing the doors very clearly Overall satisfactory experience, but I wouldn’t recommend for people traveling as a family.

While the hotel itself and rooms are fine. You have to pay extra for parking which is clearly just for capitalist gains as it’s on property. They advertise a pool (one of the main reasons we picked the hotel), which we were told on arrival has been closed for years, yet no thought to advertise this online was thought of? No instead they keep a picture of said swimming pool online when it would be a simple manner of taking one picture down to stop disappointment. They keep it up to attract visitors unfortunately. The water in the room for shower and bath simply did not go hot, but rather a low lukewarm. Breakfast also cost £15 which we opted not to do due to competition prices being so much lower for the same thing. Ultimately, it was a disappointing stay mainly due to their misinformation than the room itself.

Cambridge is an expensive town. That said, the price of the room did not reflect the amenities or the size of the room. Basically, the bathroom was so small as to be useless, and the bedroom very poorly lit and felt cluttered. The hotel is on top of a very cozy pub near Jesus Green, and within a comfortable walk to city centre. The room was clean and relatively quiet (the pub/hotel are located at a big intersection with frequent traffic). It would be ideal if the room price was closer to 100£, rather than 200£…

It is a family hotel type hotel that focuses on warmth and comfort. It is located in a residential area around the city. There are no restaurants or supermarkets nearby, and it is far away from the main city. On the way to the main city, there are many barber shops along the way.

This was my second stay at the hotel in a single room 114. I decided to stay again as it was very good value and a fairy short walk into Cambridge. I had a different single room than before and it was Ok. It had a decent shower and a comfortable bed. I was very cosy. The room had T and coffee facilities, and a T pot that I greatly appreciated during my last stay. I had a better view in this single room which was nice. It is a short walk to the shops, bus stop and the museums. As I was visiting cultural venues it’s a great positioned hotel not far from The Cambridge Museum and the Castle. I really liked staying in this hotel. I would definitely stay here again. The breakfast was very good value with really good ham, fresh fruit and yoghurts, nice muffins ext. there is plenty of spaces available to relax in the hotel. If you like 90s retro the spaces are great! The staff were very helpful and I stowed luggage so that I could visit Cambridge. It’s a great value hotel for solo travellers so please keep a good price for us! A very good stay here I will be back. The images you see are of the hotel reception area, room114, the view from the window, T and coffee and images of the walk from the hotel into the Fitzwilliam Museum, Newtons apple tree and Universities. A very brilliant walk unlike no other! Thanks hotel for a great stay. I will be back ❤️

When I placed the order, I knew the room was very small, only 8 square meters, and I went there for its location: on the edge of the central lawn of Cambridge, close to Emmanuel College where my child applied for admission, and 3 minutes from the hotel to the main entrance of the college. I arrived at 12 o'clock in the night in the drizzle, because I didn't expect that the two building numbers were actually two small doors of the same small building. I searched for a long time before I found Building 6, which was only two meters away from Building 7. I didn't feel very good at the time. Because it was a self-service check-in, there was no one to receive me, so I couldn't complain. After entering the room, I found that there was a kitchen that was even more spacious than the bedroom, and all kinds of kitchen utensils were available. I immediately felt very happy! In the next 8 days, the small hotel became our home in Cambridge: I bought groceries and cooked every day. After walking and shopping, the kitchen became a living room, sitting down to make tea, coffee, and eat, it was very relaxing. The overall comfort far exceeded that of a five-star hotel with a room of 50 square meters. The only downside is that there are two bars downstairs, and the noise is loud every night. On weekends, there are people chatting on the benches by the lawn all night long. Fortunately, our whole family sleeps well and doesn't care too much. People who don't sleep well should think twice.
