"I enjoyed my stay, we arrived early and we were able to check in. Rooms were ok, twin beds, shower, tea station. There was a blow dryer in the room also, everything worked fine. Great location 10mins walk from the train station, one stop away by train to the airport and about 25 mins to Amsterdam Central. Breakfast was good also pastires, breads, boiled eggs, scrambled eggs and beans and then fruit and cold meats."

"XO Hotel is located in a great area for having a fun night out. But maybe not the best if you plan to go to bed early. Our room was on the ground floor and we could hear every person who walked past our room until 1:00-2:00 am.
However, the room was comfortable and the shower had great pressure.
I would stay here again, but only for a short stay (2 nights)."

"I've been to Amsterdam twice and both times I chose to stay at BUNK. The hotel is located inside a deconsecrated cathedral, tastefully furnished and with great attention to detail. Although the rooms are small, they are equipped with all comforts and, most importantly, they are clean and cozy. Even though breakfast wasn't included, we often stopped by the hotel's restaurant/bar, which offers truly delicious dishes. The staff is as kind as ever 😊
If I were to return to Amsterdam again, I wouldn't hesitate to go back a third time. Even though it's not super close to the center, it offers the best value for money."

"Good location for 3 big supermarkets and restaurants nearby. But inconvenient when you travel from central station with big luggage.
This hotel is pretty decent, and looks newly renovated. Beds, towels, and toilet are clean, no bugs noted.
The toilet water heater is quite intermittent, sometimes very hot and suddenly very cold.
The front desk is 24 hrs which is good."

"The greatest bonus point is that the Holiday Inn Express Hotel is conveniently located just beside the Amsterdam Sloterdijk Station, ~ 3 mins walk!
Our rooms were nicely cleaned, wifi strength was strong, the complimentary breakfast buffet spread includes a selection of freshly baked pastries, cereals, fresh fruits, juices, boiled eggs & many different sweet & savoury toppings ☺️
We have only one feedback for improvement is the unfortunate heavy stench of urine smell left behind by some of the inconsiderate public members in front of the hotel entrance 😭

"We spent our winter holiday here and there are plenty of local groceries stores around. The train station is just a breeze walk away so it’s easy to travel around. The Zaanse Schans (windmill attraction), Zaandam (‘Lego’ house) is just few stations away from the hotel. Stay wise it’s comfortable but can get tad abit noisy as the sound insulation between walls are rather weak. All in all we will definitely stay here again!"

"The hotel's location is super convenient, less than a ten-minute train ride to the airport, and it's right near the exit of Zuid station. There are plenty of AH supermarkets and tram stops nearby, making it perfect for a layover in Amsterdam. The only downside is the heating in the room wasn't very warm, so it was a bit cold in winter."

"My stay here was incredibly satisfying. I had an unexpected train cancellation and ended up checking in past midnight, but I was warmly welcomed by the 24-hour front desk, which was a huge relief. The bed in my room was very spacious and comfortable. Aside from disposable items, the room was well-equipped with many necessities. There were plenty of hangers, which was convenient, and I especially appreciated the iron – it allowed me to press my wrinkled clothes after a long journey. There was a coffee machine in the room, so I could make coffee in the morning, and a bottle of water was also provided. Additionally, there was a bar within the hotel, and I was given a voucher to use there. They also mentioned breakfast, but I didn't get to try it, so I can't comment on that. While it's a bit far from Amsterdam Centraal Station, it's easily accessible by tram. In fact, its proximity to the Van Gogh Museum and other nearby museums makes it a great location for sightseeing. It was also nice for walking around the neighborhood. My only minor complaint is that the shower head holder in my room didn't fit properly and needs to be replaced. Other than that, I highly recommend this place – it was a very satisfying stay!"

"This is a clean hotel in a pleasant suburban area, offering good value for money. However, the location is not ideal for frequent city center visits; it takes over 40 minutes to get there, and buses are infrequent. The nearest supermarket is a 15-minute walk away.
Be very careful with the final bill. I was charged 38 Euros when the app confirmed 19. I had to contact Trip.com to get the overcharge refunded. Double-check everything at checkout."

GGuest UserThe first time I went to Amsterdam with my bestie, we arrived at the hotel at 8pm. It was by a very quiet river. I thought it was a remote location, but I didn't expect that the hotel was surrounded by attractions after walking around the next day: Anne Frank House and Tulip Museum, Church and Canal Yacht Center and Small Square.
The front desk receptionist, the blonde sister, was warm and friendly. She introduced the room and catering and the condition of the elevator to be repaired. She also recommended local restaurants nearby and helped to make reservations. The Chinese boss did a good job in employee training. The surprise was that the small suite on the fourth floor not only faced the beautiful canal, but also had a hot water kettle that girls always wanted. I like the hotel's logo.
The Western breakfast has a rich selection of hot and cold drinks. The restaurant environment is small and warm, and the illustrations on the background wall have a sense of déjà vu of campus blackboard newspapers. Because it was my birthday that day, my bestie took a group photo with the Polaroid provided by the hotel as a souvenir. The hotel staff, a beautiful long-legged sister, took the initiative to help, which was very nice. Check out on time at 11 am, and the luggage can be stored at the front desk.
After taking a cruise 🚤 and visiting the city, we returned to the hotel, rested in the restaurant, ate freshly baked cakes, and drank hot ☕️. The front desk helped me call a taxi to the airport and gave me a bag of snacks before leaving. It was really thoughtful! Looking forward to coming back next time 😘

OOzlem KWe was greeted with warm smiling faces. The hotels main entrance, communal area was really clean and welcoming. The check-in was done really quickly as 2 hours before usual check-in which was perfect as was had a toddler with us plus lugage. The room was beautiful, clean and exactly good size for us. Bathroom was really clean. Room smelled fresh. We had breakfast each morning and it was a lovely open buffet with alot of choices, warm and fresh food. The dining area, bar area was really big, clean and welcoming. We enjoyed our 2 nights/3days stay. Definitely would recommend. Its not really far from Central station as well so perfect.

Shower had dirty spots and fungi, way too slippery and possibly dangerous.
Amenities were fine.
Housekeeping at the door already at 9:30 and coming in without permission. Breakfast was fine but way too busy. All together I would say 7 out of 10. Great for short stay and really close to Ziggo Dome / arena district

Ll3unnyI arrived at like midnight but luckily there’s someone at the reception 24/7. The hotel is at an excellent location, it was ok to push my suitcase over from
Amsterdam central station, I think it took 10minutes yet I was shocked to see the very steep staircase because I had a 26” 22kgs big suitcase with me, along with a 7 kgs hand card travel bag, 6kgs backpack. There’s absolute no way I’d be able to carry all that up stairs without tumbling down and getting injured before I could reach the reception desk. Thankfully, the male staff who work at the front desk were all nice and willing to help, ie 1st time for bringing all my baggage from the bottom of the steps at the entrance up to my room during which we encountered even more steep stairs to reach the room; 2nd time was when I had to check out, I left my suitcase outside the room and needed staff to help me bring it down to the reception storage; 3rd time was from reception down to the bottom at the entrance, otherwise I would not have able to stay at the hotel with all my bulky and heavy baggages. It’s an old hotel so soundproofing maybe a bit of a problem, like I could hear floor boards creaking but it’s bearable and I had a good sleep. I had bit of a hard time finding my room, it felt like a maze in a boat or an anthill, but staff showed me the way to my room. The view outside the window was wonderful, Van Gogh museum and rijksmuseum were within walking distances like under 40 minutes. It’d be even if they provided a water kettle, but I was happy that they actually have tv and air con! I’d stay here again, just that I better not bring a big suitcase next time. Thank you to the 3 staff I encountered on October 10th and 11th!

ZZhongguodaniangThe room was very clean and tidy, with complete facilities. The toilet and shower room were separate, which was very reasonable for six people as it allowed us to stagger our usage times.
The staff at the front desk and the lobby bar were lovely and enthusiastic. You could order food, coffee, and drinks, or simply ask for hot water to make your own instant noodles, coffee, or tea for free.
The most unique feature of this youth hostel is the tiered lecture hall from a university located behind the central lobby. You can sit alone at a 'classroom' desk to read, work on your computer, or use your phone, or gather with a few friends. It's truly distinctive! As an old aunt who graduated from university nearly 40 years ago, being here felt like traveling back in time to my youth. ❤️

With trams and other public transport nearby, you can easily access the city centre and surrounding suburbs without any hassle. But The room was a bit small, even after the upgrade, which was slightly disappointing. I expected a bit more space for an upgraded room, but it was still manageable for a short stay.

GGuest UserThis fancy and fun hostel is an easy and accessible part of town. It's very cute and unique. The rooms are fine - they are small of course because it is a hostel. You will not get all of the amenities of a hotel, but the place is clean and the beds comfy. We were sad that there weren't more people hanging around in the common areas, but we made it lively and on the second night there were more folks around. The bar and restaurant are closed; but they will make you an amazing coffee in the morning (Melania is a genius!) and there is a snack bar with alcohol for purchase (including full bottles of wine if that's what you're looking for). The entire team is very nice - especially Tamara! They made us feel right at home and definitely made us want to come back and visit again! Lots to do in the area for sure, but also a quick and easy tram ride straight into Central Amsterdam. Overall, a very good experience for the price.

GGuest UserThe lobby of the Amsterdam Library Hotel is really the layout of the library, and the smell of books is strong when you enter the door.
Less than 10 minutes from the central railway station, go left at the main entrance of the train station, cross the tram, walk along the road, there is a bus station at the entrance of the hotel, it is easy to find. The 24-hour front desk, the waiter is very enthusiastic, will tell you in detail where to go, live here safely and comfortably.
