"Run by a married couple. The hotel is in a great location, just a 5-minute walk from the square in Cusco. However, it is on a hill and at a high altitude, so the air is thin, so keep that in mind. You can also take a shared bus from the airport to the square (if you have the energy, energy, and peace of mind). However, there was no hot water in the shower at first. Because of this, I had to contact her husband, who runs the hotel, every time, which was inconvenient. However, if there was anything, they would come to my aid via WhatsApp, and when I went to Machu Picchu, they let me leave all my luggage there, and they even secured a shared bus to the hydroelectric power station, so the service was excellent in that respect."

"I am usually lazy to review hotels, but this hotel is super good in terms of environment and service of the staff, so I can't help but give it 5 stars. First of all, the room is very clean, the decoration is a bit Cusco style, and hot water and heating are also available 24 hours a day (unlike motto, which has small and dark rooms and limited heating).
Secondly, the staff is very patient with customers, answering every question seriously and providing laundry service. It is really great. I will book this place again next time."

"We didn’t hesitate to stay again after our Machu Picchu tour. Same hospitality and service were offered to us. We always have hot water for drinking in our room which is a plus since we love drinking tea which helps in soothing out dry itchy throat due to the altitude. The breakfast was delish and the bed is comfortable! Highly recommended!"

"Recommend take uber or taxi to locale. The walk from Plaza Armas is approx 6 minutes but hilly and traffic both foot + car traffic is heavy. The hotel is an uphill climb as is all of the city. The doors open to a small court yard. To your left and right are schools. Just walk straight on and ring the door buzzer. They buzz the door open very promptly. If the court yard door is closed there is a door buzzer reachable from the sidewalk. Breakfast is made to order eggs, bread, good coffee + 3 types of juice. Owner + family are friendly + helpful. Room had a kettle + temperature control. Family speaks english. Enjoyed my stay."

"The staff was so kind, it was really good. They let me check out late because there was no reservation for the next day! The room and bed were clean, there were plenty of cooking utensils, and salt, sugar, and oil were provided. The breakfast was mainly bread, with only one orange and drinks, which was a bit disappointing. Coca tea was drinkable. The shower had good hot water, but the shower curtain was extremely short, so the floor got wet. Also, there was no heating, so it was really cold at night. The view of the city from the hotel was amazing.
The hotel is quite high up in the hills, so be careful not to get out of breath."

Our terrace architecture pays tribute to our Inca history.
"Overall, the hotel is not bad for Cusco, a small room, a small window, a very small bathroom, no heating, no drinking water, no slippers, but I give it 5 for cleanliness, for the location, and for the fact that the hotel is new. When we lived there, the cost was $90 per night without breakfast. For such a cost, it is normal. But when we left for 2 days and came back, the cost was already $180 per night, which is simply unimaginable for this hotel. Having lived a week in Cusco, it became clear that the price and quality are a big problem not only for this hotel but also for others! The prices are high, and the service provided is minimal!"

"Like Lijiang's homestay, the room is OK, the location is very good and convenient. There is no requirement to add fees to the store as described. The quality of service is very good. Be sure to drink the free tea in the store to solve altitude sickness."

"If you enjoy some quiet from the bustling city center, this place was perfect. Located 15 mins walk from the city center (it doesn’t feel that far honestly), the photos of the hotel are as shown in the pictures provided. The place is really clean and cosy.
Giara liaises with the guests ensuring every need is covered. She and the team have been so lovely and helpful throughout. They do prepare packed breakfast for whenever we had to leave early for our tours. Absolutely enjoyed our time at the stay"

"This hotel is centrally located within walking distance to the markets & main plaza. The beds are comfortable. Rooms with king bed are small. The courtyard is nice. The breakfast was average to below average. The internet is free but intermittent at best. There is a nightclub nearby which plays loud music until 3:30am which makes it really difficult to sleep.
The reason I'm giving this hotel a 3 star is because of the excellent service we received from Oscar Silva Casafranca. He was courteous, efficient and always pleasant & smiling. He helped with our baggage & was quick to answer any questions or queries we had. He's a huge asset to this hotel."

Iiy1204Stay in a double room for 3 nights, the hotel is located in a good location, about 13 minutes walk to the Arms Square.
The room was small, but clean and clean, just no space for two suitcases to open.
The bathroom is separated from wet and dry, but there is no space for things in the shower room. The bath water temperature is enough for hot water. Towels, bathing, shampoo are provided, and no hair dryer is provided.
The internet is very fast.
The bedding is clean and clean.
The hotel does not provide an elevator. To climb the stairs with a suitcase, please consider yourself.
The third floor provides simple public space, with tea bags, hot water, cold water, breakfast included, breakfast is made daily, fresh juice, fresh scrambled eggs, toast, and fruit, which is a great intimate service.
The hotel landlord's wife can help to book various travel services on behalf of her, and can also ask her if she has any questions. It is a great friend.

SS_KKThe rooms were clean and comfortable with a storage heater and hot shower. About 10 minutes walk to the main square. However, when we arrived it was a little strange for us when the receptionist said that we didn't have a booking there even though we had and I had the confirmation receipt to show him. He wasn't responsive until I called Trip.com online service, and then he continued looking and said that he actually found it, so maybe be aware of this happening when you arrive. It was also a little strange that after they checked us in, we had a lot of luggage and staff showed us to the rooms that were quite a walk away and up one set of stairs and two sets of elevators, that they didn't help with anything of the bags. We only noticed this as we had much better service in other hotels in Cusco.

GGuest UserKatari Apart Hotel at Qorikancha was the perfect accommodation for my 3-day trip to Cusco! It is in a great central location, within walking distance to the various plazas with shopping and restaurants. My room was great - clean and comfortable with a kitchenette and private bathroom. Alex was an INCREDIBLE host - he was so attentive and responsive and gave me some excellent recommendations for things to do and see and restaurants to eat at. I was able to store my luggage after check out on my last day since I had an evening flight and Alex helped hail a taxi for me to ensure a fair price and safe ride.

The hotel is cozy, clean, and has a very warm, welcoming atmosphere. The location is excellent — perfect for walking around the city and relaxing after a long day.
A special highlight is the breakfast — absolutely divine. Everything is fresh, delicious, and thoughtfully prepared, with a great variety. You can really feel the care for guests.
The staff is friendly, attentive, and always ready to help.
We truly enjoyed our stay and would happily return. Highly recommended.

GGuest UserI stayed at this hotel twice; in between I went to Macchu Pichu and left the baggage at the hotel.
Location wise - it’s very central with a PeruRail office next door albeit the other ones are not too far.
Reception is 24hr and there is a nice courtyard with a restaurant as well as a common area with a kitchen at the back.
I stayed in the Teepee tent on both occasions; first time the rate was more affordable at around gbp40/night. In July, the night gets cold. But the tent does have additional blankets and a heater. This worked except on the last night as it seems it stopped in middle of the night. Without the heater, the room was quite cold. The common bathroom is at the back; the showers are ok and you get enough privacy. I noticed the hot water does take a while to come through. I left the baggage in the storage - no issues. Overall good but for same price bracket I would try somewhere else.

HHONGGEUN LEEThe location is a bit up the alley. Walk ... Taxi to the front of the house ... Hotel service is good. Friendly old owners and young people. There are no amenities, but it is worth staying. Meals are normal but a bit poor. The room was a bit cold (I asked for a heater and I received an additional fee of 20 brushes). It seems that this is not the case. If the room is cold, the hotel should take action. It is unconvincing that there is an additional charge. The night view on the roof was nice. Generally, it's not a separate charge for the heater at a medium level.

GGuest UserHad two separate bookings with the hotel as I was going to Machu Picchu and staying overnight there. During my first day at this hotel in my first reservation, I was asked to pay for this second booking together. No receipt given but was assured that there will not be any misunderstanding. Was told to pack and leave my things at the reception and check out and re-check in. So not sure why I needed to pay for the second reservation upfront in my first booking (Maybe afraid that I would cancel it as I was really tempted to). As mentioned in my previous post, the amenities are severly lacking, cause of low water supply, the pipes and toilet filling up is very loud and the water flow from the tap is like the picture at night and it was trickling and dripping one of the early mornings when I had a tour. In short, i will not stay here again.

KK TravelsLet me start with the positives, stylish design, exactly like the pics advertised, from entering the hotel to the resting area to the balcony to the room, all very nice.
But you need to be ready for the stairs if you not getting here by car, going out and coming back from the square, especially if you have luggage or backpack, everyone arriving here were out of breath.
The bathroom has odor coming up from the pipe, which is normal for house this old, if you are okay with it.
I was in room 201, sound proof does not exist, can hear car passing, dog barking, guests coming back from partying at night, tourists cheering & leaving hotel for trips at 3:30am, didn’t get much sleep.
Most disappointing thing was hot water, I arrived in the afternoon climbing up the stairs, was hoping to have a quick shower before heading out for dinner, stood in the bathroom waited 5mins for hot water, was told be staff hot water was out they are trying to fix, came back after drinks, still no hot water, was very late so didn’t call staff, tried to have a shower before check out at 7am, hot water was still not available after another good 5mins standing in the shower… sigh

GGuest UserI arrived in the hotel found that the bath tub doesn’t have stopper so asked them to provide stopper but was given a day later and there is no hand wash provided. No soap provided on my last day.
Also the hotel staff asked me to pay additional $55.00 as they don’t seem to have record of my arrival to Peru and I have come illegally to Peru.. I have to argue about it and finally they found my arrival details.
Breakfast is fantastic and cleanliness is good as well.. Apart from minor issues it is good..near to all amenities .
