Salt Creek Farmhouse is a classic restored, 1920's farmhouse on 56 jacres with all the modern conveniences! Sleeps six people in; two bedrooms each with a queen sized bed and the full sized sleeper couch in the living room. Towels, wash cloths, sheets, pillows, blankets, coffee, ice etc. are all provided. Dogs/cats and extra $ 75 each (3 days), $ 85 each (4-7 days), $ 100 each (8 - 14 days), and must be approved by the management in advance. Pets must be kept off furniture and beds. We have fast, reliable Fiber-Optic WiFi and there's a 40" TCL smart TV and a DVD player in the living room. A closet full of board games, puzzles, cards and other games is located on the 2nd floor. The deck off the main living space is like sitting in a tree house, there is a gas grill and table and chairs. The master bedroom has king bed and an en suite bathroom. The other main floor bedroom has a queen bed and en suite bath with shower. Upstairs is a bedroom with queen bed, jack and jill bath. 2nd bedroom has 2 twins beds. The first thing you will notice as you begin to turn onto the driveway is that it is steep and curves up the hill. If your vehicle has 4WD we recommend you utilize it. If you do not have 4WDwe recommend you shift into low gear(L) if your car has that option. This will provide the smoothest ascent up the drive. Please keep your speed up ALL THE WAY through the curve to provide sufficient momentum to smoothly ascend the drive.. The climb will be worth it. Once you reach the Cottage at the top of the hill there is plenty of space for parking.ATTENTION BICYCLERS:We are designate "Mountain Bike Friendly" by the Brown County Tourism Bureau.We have a walk out basement that makes it easy to bring your bikes inside.
