There is a peaceful easy feeling about this secluded point lot along the corridor of Lake Hartwell and Tugaloo river. Relax on one of multiple decks, or in the gazebo, and enjoy the scenery and abundant wildlife. Watch the fish leap as you sit on the deck drinking your morning coffee. In the summer months launch the kayaks from the floating dock and paddle up the lake or to Longnose Waterfall. Take your fishing rods and put your boat in at the boat slip at Stephens county recreation area and glide through the water back to the house and tie up at the floating walkway with your fresh catch. Beautiful hiking and bike trails, wineries and waterfalls are all within easy access. There’s even a 9 hole golf course not far away. For you to enjoy we have 2 bikes, fishing rods, games of corn hole, jenga, or wooden ladder toss. There is also a large 15X6X6 inflatable dock platform that can be blown up and attached to our floating dock when water levels allow. Surrounded by the sounds of nature, see how many different species of birds you can spot and admire the many constellations of stars that appear in the clear night skies. Enjoy eating your meals, perhaps grilled on the gas grill, while sitting on the deck, or in the gazebo, enjoying the natural beauty with s’mores cooked around the fire pit for dessert. This divine lakeside location has capacity to sleep 14, featuring 4 full bathrooms and 4 bedrooms with queen bed in each. In addition one of the rooms includes a bunk bed with twin bed on bottom bunk and and a further single bed with a large flat screen SMART TV. In the basement en-suite bedroom there’s also a sofa bed that sleeps two and a TV. Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate pets, and smoking is not allowed inside the house.Our home has a fully equipped kitchen with a large pantry, an eat at kitchen island with stools, and all stainless steel appliances including a water/ice dispensing in freezer door. Also a double sided gas fireplace that leads into a large lounge with plenty of comfortable couches and armchairs. As well as a large flat screen SMART TV, we have internet so you can download your apps, and there is a desk with monitor and printer for those that need to keep up with the office while relaxing. There are two large sliding glass doors that lead out to the split level deck so you can enjoy breathtaking views of the lake from inside or out. If you choose to eat indoors there’s a beautiful long dining table with plenty of seating for those gatherings of friends and family, again with exceptional lake views for you to enjoy.The games room has a full size pool table, with a flat screen SMART TV, so you can have your favorite show on while shooting pool and another gas fireplace you can light for those chilly evenings. Off of the games room is one of the four full bathrooms and a second kitchen that leads into the laundry room that accommodates a washer and dryer. This jewel of a lake home is located one and a half hours north of Atlanta, 15 minutes from Toccoa where you can find a well stocked Ingles grocery store and a wide diverse choice of all the eating options you could need from fast food to fine dining. Spend your time relaxing on the porch, strolling the private 1/4 mile nature trail around the point, paddling your canoe or kayak around the quiet cove. Enjoy time at the lake sunbathing, swimming, floating, fishing, on wave runners and boating. End the day gathering by the fire pit outside or playing games. This getaway offers privacy and plenty of parking. Public boat ramp is 1/2 mile away.Pets that are house trained are welcomed to the property HOWEVER, there will be an additional cleaning fee of $50 per pet.Guests have private access to the house, yard and nature trail. House is located on the end of a small road so definitely out of the way if looking to unplug.Other things to noteWe are 35 minutes away from Clemson if looking for a game day getaway.The kids love having their own area to sleep and play in the loft bedroom but works great for friendly adults too!Lake is 200 feet from the house.Boats and kayaks are available for rent on the lake. Come and enjoy our family friendly, large lake house on a safe, quiet, secluded cove on Lake Hartwell. You have the entire house to yourself to enjoy the privacy and lake. Ample parking for 6 vehicles next to the house entrance. We offer flexible check-in and out dates and 2 & 3 day stays this spring and fall, and on summer stays, a 5 day minimum. We always offer weekly stay discounts. If a 7 day stay at the lake is not in your plans this year, consider a shorter 5 day stay with flexible check-in days this summer. We also offer highly discounted longer stays in the months of Jan-March of 2026. You can book early with our flexible cancellation policies. Our spacious, 3600 sf, 6 bedroom, private family home on 3 floors is set back in a quiet residential cove of Lake Hartwell with a deep water dock for your pontoon or boat. We can sleep up to 14 adults comfortably on memory foam beds, 5 king beds, 2 twins, and queen sleeper couch. We also have 2 additional twin memory foam mattresses that can be used on the floor. Bed linens, bath towels, beach towels and all shower essentials are provided. Our newly installed fiber optic high speed internet service will connect multiple devices. We have 5 "smart" TVs around the house for multiple viewing options. Clemson and "Death Valley" are only 13 minutes away as well as Seneca for multiple restaurant options. Clemson marina is a 10 minute drive from the house and offers rental pontoons and boats. It is a 20 minute boat ride back to the lake house. Enjoy time together in the large, open-concept main floor or outside on the large upper covered deck, lower gazebo, fire pit, or dock. There is a 4 burner outdoor gas grill available for your use in the back yard. Our house has 2 full kitchens stocked with everything you may need for a nice long getaway. The upper floor has a large bedroom with a wall of windows offering a beautiful view of the lake with a king bed, couch, and the two additional twin mattresses that are stored in the full length closet that you can pull out to use. Across the hall past a dual sink, full bath, is a king bedroom and a bedroom with two twin beds. On the main floor is a large master suite with a king bed and private full bath, and large walk in closet. The lower level has a full apartment with a separate entrance a master king suite, a private full bath, a large walk in closet, a living room with pull-out queen sofa, kitchen, dining area, and work desk. Additionally on the lower level, there is a private separate king bedroom that walks out to the lower patio and backyard, with a 1/2 bath. A child high chair, port-a-crib, and youth mattress are also provided to accommodate younger children. There are ceiling fans in all the bedrooms. High efficiency HVAC units keep comfortable heating and cooling temperatures with thermostats to adjust on all 3 floors. Enjoy our newly redone home for a great family week this spring and summer or a weekend this fall. Football weekends are in demand, so book them early. Lake Hartwell water temperatures remain nice for swimming off the dock or kayaking in the cove all through October. Many other outdoor activities are available on day trips in the Sumter National Forest and in the nearby North Carolina mountains and National Forests. Two kayaks and a paddle board are available for your use, as well as life vests (9 adult, 3 youth, 2 child, 1 water wing (30-50#). A nice gentle path with steps and safety railing access the quiet private dock where you can swim, launch the kayaks, secure your boat, or just spend time relaxing on the spacious deep-water dock. Just past our walkway sign on the path you enter Core of Engineer lands which surround all of Lake Hartwell and provide a private, secluded access area for your use.
