Escape to White Ridge Lodge (formerly 5 star rated, Lone Star Lodge), a splendid, spacious log cabin in picturesque Fairplay, just 25 milesi south of Breckenridge. This recently renovated cabin has 4 bedrooms including 1 king, 1 queen, 1 queen with a twin bunk bed and 2 more twin bunk beds combined with a recreation room. This cozy retreat offers plenty of space for guests to unwind with living spaces on each of the 3 levels. The 3 bathrooms are stocked with all the essentials. There is a kitchen with a full complement of kitchen appliances, utensils and serving ware. The loft boasts an office desk, if you cannot escape work and comfortable living space with 55in smart TV. There is a rec room with 65in smart TV, air hockey, video games, darts and basketball toss game. Several puzzles, board games and playing cards are there to keep all ages busy. We have sleds to enjoy on the sloped area of the property. Additionally, two sofa beds and a crib are available to meet a variety of guest’s sleeping needs. The driveway can accommodate 2-4 cars. A clothes washer and dryer are onsite for convenience. Our place is equipped for both long or short stays to make your vacation to the mountains one to remember. Unfortunately our property has stairs and is not wheelchair accessible and we do not allow pets due to allergens, but if you have a well behaved, hypoallergenic pet who will be crated and not left alone when at the cabin please do inquire to see if we can make an exception. Stunning custom-built log cabin on 4 acres of private land 30 minutes outside of Breckenridge, and minutes to Fairplay and Alma. The perfect place to spend a cozy day by the wood fire, or establish basecamp for mountain adventures. Admire the mountain views from the fenced in backyard, and hear the sounds of Mosquito creek running through the back of the property. The house features a large high ceiling living room with views out to the mountains beyond, as well as custom kitchen with modern appliances and a vintage AGA stove. Relax and re-charge in the 3 bedrooms, each with comfortable mattresses and clean white sheets. The primary suite offers an en-suite bathroom with radiant floor heating and a clawfoot tub/shower.This is custom-built log cabin with 3 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms and a chef's kitchen with vintage AGA stove. Outside of the living room is a covered front porch with adirondack chairs overlooking a fenced in back yard with aspen trees and an incredible view of the mountains and creek. On the side of the house is a fenced in deck and a grill, perfect for outdoor dinners on a warm night.The main floor contains the kitchen, dining room and living room with high vaulted ceilings. There's a wood stove and a bar area, and the dining room has a large wooden table that can comfortably seat 6.Downstairs is our laundry room, as well as full bath and two bedrooms, one with two full beds and one with a queen. The downstairs floors are all equipped with radiant heat.Upstairs is a large primary suite with vaulted ceilings and a king bed. There is a on-suite full bathroom with vintage clawfoot tub + shower, radiant heat, and views out to the creek which meanders through the property.Things to note:Please be aware that this cabin is at 10,500 feet of elevation, higher even than Breckenridge (9,728). As such, we advise doing some research ahead of time on how to best acclimate to high elevation, especially if you are coming from lower elevation. Staying hydrated is key, especially if you plan to be active. Know your limits: The Rocky mountains are one of the greatest playgrounds in the country, and the house awaits with comfortable beds and thoughtfully designed amenities to rest and recharge.Cell service is not great in the mountains. We have starlink internet with high speed connection (80 - 100 Mbps).The creek by the house is yours to use, but swim at your own risk.
