"Large room with area for making drinks with kettle and large fridge. We had a corner room on 15th floor with floor to ceiling windows and view of Milson Park, the marina there and part of the harbour (could see harbour ferries and cruise ships). We did a nice walk to this park and marina and back. Located in biz district of North Sydney, 5 mins walk to metro or North Sydney rail station, about 20mins trip to Central. Nice restaurants around plus food shops if you want basics for breakfast, drinks, snacks etc. We didn't eat in hotel. Brilliant self servive laundry facilities in hotel - just over $6 for large wash or dry. Ironing kit and hairdryer in room. Small book swap in reception. Gym and lounge area for relaxing or working away from room. Random penguins on glass in lifts, made us smile!"

"This hotel's location isn't as good as the Meriton serviced apartment I stayed in before. Although it's close to Darling Harbour, the surrounding area isn't as lively anymore. The room was ready by 2 PM. We left our luggage at the hotel, and when we returned, it had been delivered to our room. The service was excellent, and everyone from the front desk to the bell staff on the first floor was very nice. The building isn't very large. Our room faced the freeway, but it wasn't noisy; the soundproofing was excellent. The room decor is quite minimalist, and the room itself is quite spacious – not at all cramped for two people. It had two queen-sized beds, and the bedding, sheets, and comforters were all very comfortable and clean. There was a coffee machine and a small refrigerator, and the room lighting was quite bright. The bathroom was also a good size and had a bathtub with good water pressure. However, the sink drained slowly, and the shower water sprayed out in all directions, making showering a bit difficult. I eventually just gave up on washing my hair. We got a discount on breakfast when we checked in; it was A$30 per person. The breakfast selection wasn't huge, but it was perfectly adequate, and we enjoyed it, especially the variety of gluten-free bread and cakes, which I was particularly happy about. Despite these points, all the staff in the lobby were particularly friendly and enthusiastic, especially the concierge team. They were humorous and entertaining, making conversations with them very pleasant. My expectations for Parkroyal were quite high, but I was a little disappointed. Overall, I'd say it's a bit below a four-star rating."

"I booked a 7-night stay for the Sydney Marathon. The hotel is located in North Sydney, very close to the race starting point, and just a 5-6 minute walk to Victoria Cross Metro station. My room featured a well-equipped kitchenette and was very clean. Housekeeping serviced the room every 1-2 days. The kitchen had everything I needed to prepare Western-style pan-fried dishes, Chinese stir-fries, and light snacks. The soundproofing was also excellent. The bathroom was a bit small. A minor drawback was that the shower only had an overhead rain shower, with no handheld option, which made showering slightly inconvenient. An oven instead of a microwave would have been a great addition."

"Pros- room was clean as it should be. And hotel is close enough to the city. Room had a power socket next to the bed which was good, as some hotels dont. Cons- Booked here as it was close to city and it said 'parking available' but only after booking I saw in the fine print that they will charge $50 for 1 night of parking and i couldnt cancel as i would have been charged. Their wifi was not working so I called them and they said something like they can look into it tomorrow which was no use for me as I was there 1 night. 1 of the power sockets next to the bed was not working. They take a $200 deposit/bond on top of the booking cost which they give back in a week, but if things like their wifi or power socket doesnt work, shouldnt they be giving you a partial refund of the booking as the room is not 100%??"

"Overall, the hotel is decent. The location is super convenient, right next to Central Station, making it easy to catch trains, buses, and light rail. The service was also good, but the bathroom didn't have a door, so the floor got really wet after a shower."

"Pros: The decor is very stylish and well-designed. The breakfast was delicious. The atmosphere is quite young and has a great vibe. Cons: 1. The location isn't particularly close to the airport, nor is it very far. I'd recommend hotels closer to Moscot Station instead. 2. The biggest issue is that the hotel room was smaller than expected. You definitely won't be able to fully open two 28-inch suitcases in there. 3. The staff weren't particularly helpful. When I needed to use a meeting studio for work, they tried to get me to use the large conference room in the lobby instead."

"Went to Sydney for a business trip in February, and it was super convenient. I stayed at two hotels, and this one was much better than the first. The transportation was incredibly convenient, and I remember there was complimentary milk and drinks replenished daily. The staff were also very friendly."

"I booked this hotel for the sea view, and I was absolutely stunned the moment I drew back the curtains – it was breathtakingly beautiful. The hotel is located in North Sydney, so you need to take a train to get to the city. However, it's only about 100 meters from the station, making it super convenient to get anywhere; Circular Quay is just two stops away. One thing to note is that it gets very noisy when trains pass by, to the point I thought it was an earthquake! But honestly, I was so exhausted from sightseeing every day that it never affected my sleep. There's also a Coles supermarket about 200 meters from the hotel, which is handy for groceries. This area isn't touristy at all; it's mostly office buildings and commuters, so it feels very safe."
