"The hotel is located right within the scenic area, just a 3-minute drive from the Qingming Riverside Landscape Garden. I had requested bed rails in advance via Trip.com, and the front desk was aware of it during check-in. They arranged everything for us and, since we had a baby, assigned us an incredibly spacious king room – it seemed to be a special room type. It had a living room and a proper large refrigerator with both a freezer and a fridge compartment, which is super convenient for families with kids, as there's plenty of space for all their stuff. Another room we booked at the same price for the elderly, a twin room, was a standard size. The staff were all very polite and always greeted us. Parking at the main entrance is limited, but the security guard directed us to the back entrance, where there are about ten more parking spots exclusively for hotel guests, usually with available spaces. You can access it with your room card. There's also a small gate at the back that leads directly to Dream Valley, where you can ride the Ferris wheel."

"The hotel is directly opposite the Hengdian Qin Palace scenic area, just a walk across the road. It's a 4-5 minute drive to the Qingming Shanghe Tu scenic area and an 8-10 minute drive to the Ming and Qing Palaces and Guangzhou Street/Hong Kong Street scenic areas. There are also scenic area bus stops nearby, making everything very convenient. The rooms and breakfast are standard (typical for a Holiday Inn Express). The service attitude was excellent and welcoming. We also happened to catch a special promotion, which made it quite a good value."

"Stayed at this Hampton by Hilton while filming in Hengdian. The location is super convenient, close to the set, so commuting was a breeze. Plus, there are plenty of options for food and shopping nearby, which is perfect for a busy film crew's schedule. The front desk staff were efficient; check-in and check-out were quick and hassle-free. The room was clean and well-soundproofed, and the bedding was really comfortable – I could just crash after work and sleep soundly without any outside noise. The breakfast offered a good variety, enough to grab a quick bite before an early start. The laundry room and gym were also very practical, making long-term stays much easier. Excellent value for money – I'd highly recommend it to anyone in the film crew!"

"My friends and I booked a trip to Hengdian, and choosing Guomao Building was truly a gem! The location is absolutely fantastic, very close to popular attractions like Qin Palace and Qingming Riverside Landscape Garden. It's about a ten-minute drive, so we didn't have to rush in the mornings, and coming back to the hotel after exploring the night markets was incredibly relaxing. The hotel parking lot is spacious and even has charging stations, which was a huge plus since we drove ourselves.
Check-in was super smooth. The front desk staff was so enthusiastic and efficient. Seeing that we were a group, they even thoughtfully recommended some hidden gem snack streets nearby. We booked standard rooms, and they were incredibly spacious. The bedding was soft and comfy, and the soundproofing was excellent, so we could chat about our favorite stars and travel plans without worrying about disturbing others.
I have to rave about the breakfast buffet. The variety was so extensive that we were spoiled for choice, with everything from Chinese congee, noodles, and dim sum to Western bread and coffee. Eating a hearty meal before a full day of sightseeing at the attractions was perfect. The Chinese restaurant at the hotel was also delicious. When we didn't feel like going out in the evening, we just met up for dinner at the hotel, and it was great value for money. Next time my friends and I come to Hengdian, we'll definitely choose this place again!"

"Excellent! Clean, quiet, and full of character. We visited in April, and the room had an antique charm. The front window overlooked a large garden, and the corridor was right next to Lilac Street, offering close-up views of the Sanyuanli architecture and distant views of the Ming and Qing Dynasty courtyards. The hotel is near the North Gate, very close to the Bell Tower, which makes it super convenient for catching various shows. We could even pop back to the room for a quick rest if we got tired. The breakfast spread was fantastic. Absolutely wonderful!"

LLaoxin、Staying with my kids at the Longjing Puyuan Hidden Villa Hotel in Hengdian World Studios was a fantastic experience! We were lucky enough to get a complimentary upgrade to a 90sqm duplex suite with two large beds. The space was incredibly generous, and the facilities were top-notch, allowing my child to run around and play happily upstairs and downstairs. The hotel's location is perfect, very close to the scenic spots, making getting around super convenient. The service was incredibly thoughtful; the staff were warm and professional, even helping us prepare children's amenities. Although breakfast was a set meal, it was nutritious and satisfying for the whole family! My child absolutely loved the outdoor playground in the courtyard and didn't want to leave. This family trip was made so much easier and more enjoyable thanks to this hotel. Highly recommend!

XXiaomaoyuI rarely stayed in a homestay when I went out to play before. I accidentally brushed this one. It was very close to the attractions and the room type was very suitable. I hesitated to book one night. I didn't expect to be too satisfied! The long-haired lady with glasses at the front desk is very nice, warm and gentle! The room is suitable for a family of three, and adult children are also suitable! The child likes the small room behind the curtain, independent space, and the bed is still big! The floor heating is very sufficient, and it is very warm when entering the room. The facilities are complete and the location is reasonable. Speaking of the bed, I felt that the bed in the hotel was very soft before. Compared with this homestay, the bed was tight and flexible, especially in line with my requirements! I slept very soundly all night and really felt like sleeping at home. I should try the homestay in the future, very good! There were too few photos in the room. I felt very satisfied as soon as I entered. I was a little excited. I forgot to take it. Haha 😄 This homestay is only a few minutes away from Dream Valley and Qin Palace. The location is not bad.

Room was clean, service was average as we had to carry the luggages up the stairs on our own and lobby lights were off at night. The staff are generally friendly.
Breakfast is a typical local meal of noodles and buns, taste was ok.
Facilities such as the pool were closed, even though we visited during the peak season in October.

Environment: This is probably one of the best-environment hotels in Hengdian. The decor is modern and minimalist, and it's quite suitable for taking photos. I even took a celebrity-style photo in the elevator.
Service: Whether it's the front desk on the first floor or the hotel front desk on the third floor, the service is excellent. They even upgraded my room type and gave me some snacks. Every time I left, there was a young man at the main entrance who would open the door for me.

MMeiyayyyThis is a beautiful hotel with a real sense of old Shanghai. Shanghainese residents like us experienced the old Shanghai style in Hengdian. The hotel is also a great place to take photos. The morning lobby performance was fantastic, creating an immersive experience of old Shanghai. There were also free gifts. In the evening, Red Wolf visited us and gave gifts to the children, much to their delight. The view from the room window overlooked the Dream Bund scenic area, which was stunning. The breakfast was also very generous, with a wide variety of options, even more generous than the breakfasts at other five-star hotels I've stayed in. The hotel staff were very welcoming, always waving and greeting us. The lobby guy was helpful in introducing the various scenic spots. I hadn't done any prior travel planning, but it was clear to me now. The beautiful receptionist was also very kind and provided breakfast for the children. It was a perfect trip, and I would recommend it to everyone!

UUlviyya78We stayed there for a day with 4 people. Our rooms were separate (2/2). The front desk staff were helpful, but they don't know English, so be sure you have a translator.
We had a little problem with the air conditioner, but they helped us and solved the problem immediately.
The location is also very convenient. We went to the night market. There are many shops and restaurants near here.
Overall, it was a good experience.
