"Facilities: All the facilities are excellent! This hotel is definitely one of the more stylish ones in Guilin, and the location is fantastic too. I chose it specifically because I had a late flight and wanted to eat at MixC City the next day, and it's only a 100-meter walk from there. It truly exceeded my expectations! Hygiene: The disposable amenities were well-stocked. I particularly liked that the towels and bath towels were rolled up and placed in a bag, instead of just sitting on the bathroom shelf – it felt much cleaner and tidier. The bedding was also very soft. Environment: I'd say it's one of the most design-conscious hotels in Guilin. The lobby also features many cultural and creative products from Guilin, as well as local specialties. Service: I booked a wake-up call for the next day, and it was great! Haha, I'm running out of superlatives, but I genuinely recommend it to anyone visiting Guilin. It offers high value for money, excellent service, great photo opportunities, a prime location, and affordable prices!!! I wish the hotel continued success and improvement!"

Step outside and you're right at the Rong Lake Scenic Area, with a local food street nearby offering authentic snacks like 'tangshui' (sweet soup) and 'cheong fun' (rice noodle rolls) – perfect for foodies! Getting to major attractions is also super convenient with easy access to taxis, making sightseeing a breeze. The overall decor has a chic, retro vibe, creating a wonderful ambiance. It's elegant, comfortable, and beautiful, with some room types even featuring a small tea station for a relaxing break. The rooms are spacious and grand, with brand-new, comprehensive facilities. The bathroom features a convenient wet and dry separation, and the layout is neat and tidy. The soft, skin-friendly, high-quality bedding ensures you can unwind and get a fantastic night's sleep. The service is meticulous and heartwarming. Upon arrival, we were offered a refreshing welcome tea, and they thoughtfully provided fresh fruit and even exquisite desserts in the evening. The in-room mini-bar is fully stocked with drinks and snacks, showing great generosity. The entire staff is warm and attentive, with a dedicated butler service that caters to every detail. The hotel's breakfast combines set meals with a buffet, offering a rich variety of delicious options. The buffet area is simple and clean, and their signature freshly made Guilin rice noodles are authentic and flavorful, making for an excellent breakfast experience. Overall, the stay was perfect. The environment, room types, and service were all impeccable. It's definitely my top choice for a stay in Guilin – a truly exceptional experience!"

"I'm usually not one to write reviews, but I just had to for this place – I'm incredibly satisfied! Everything, from the room to the service to the location, deserves five stars. Even though the room wasn't huge, it was exceptionally clean, minimalist, and fully functional, which was all I needed. Getting around was super convenient; I just rented an e-bike or a shared bike and went wherever I wanted. And then there's the service – oh, the service! What really surprised me was how genuinely enthusiastic *everyone* was. Not just one person, but every single staff member. It honestly felt like coming home. The 7th floor has the restaurant, gym, and laundry room all together, so you don't have to run to different floors. The Guilin rice noodles at breakfast were delicious, and I also tried their local specialty, Youcha (oil tea), which was really tasty! If I get the chance to come to Guilin again, I'll definitely choose this place."

"The front desk staff were all super nice, and they even gave us a free room upgrade! 🫶🏻 They also put together their own list of local eats, and trust me, they're not just recommending places, they're genuinely good – I tried them myself! The room was big and very clean. The only minor thing was that the mini-fridge in the room wasn't very cold, but we could store things in the main fridge at the front desk, so it wasn't a big deal at all. The soundproofing was excellent; we couldn't hear any street noise from outside. The hotel is close to Elephant Trunk Hill, and there's also an Intangible Cultural Heritage Experience Center nearby, so you won't have to worry about running out of things to do. Plus, the rooftop terrace offers beautiful views! The location is really great, and it's easy to catch a taxi. This will definitely be my top choice next time I visit Guilin ❤️"

The deep-sleep mattress provided an amazing night's sleep, and the smart home controls throughout made everything easy and hassle-free. The branded toiletries were also of high quality. The hotel environment is tranquil and elegant, and the Instagrammable pool is perfect for photos. The front desk staff were warm and attentive, and the facilities are complete and well-maintained. It's a perfect stay for families with children, making it my top choice for accommodation in Guilin!"

"The room was clean and tidy, and the environment was pleasant. The butler service was excellent, always asking about our needs. They have a playground for kids, a paper fan painting activity, and an infinity pool. On a clear day, you can even see Elephant Trunk Hill. Shopping nearby is very convenient, and it's close to all the scenic spots. We enjoyed the sights and sounds while eating and drinking along the way."

"This hotel is genuinely great! I started looking at hotels while still on the high-speed train and browsed through many options before being captivated by the beautiful views this one offered. The front desk even called us in advance to ask about our arrival time and thoughtfully turned on the air conditioning for us. After checking in, a staff member helped carry our luggage to the room. On the way, he explained all the hotel's facilities. The sky garden on the seventh floor is absolutely stunning 🤩, and I even caught the sunrise there the next morning, which was truly breathtaking. Watching the Xiaoyao Tower from the sky garden at night is incredibly beautiful. The hotel's gym and laundry room are well-equipped, and the laundry room even has an ironing machine, which is a big plus! The room's interior has a retro-chic decor style, augmented with smart room controls, giving it a simple yet grand feel. The mini-fridge in the room is a nice touch and stocked with complimentary drinks. It's a pity I overslept and missed breakfast. Lastly, I personally found the room to be very quiet! Not as exaggeratedly noisy as some reviews suggested! Next time I'm in Guilin, or if friends visit Guilin, I will definitely recommend the Xinyu Hotel."

"I saw online that the hotel was located inside a park and the facilities were a bit old, so I was prepared for that. Despite being in a park, the service was excellent. They were very responsive to guest requests and had a great attitude. The biggest plus was the laundry room; they even sent a heads-up message before check-in about the many services available. Guests staying at the hotel don't need a park ticket, and I enjoyed a pleasant walk in the park, getting a panoramic view of Elephant Trunk Hill from the opposite bank. Now for a few complaints: When I first entered the room, I fiddled with the central air conditioning switch on the wall for a long time, but it wouldn't turn on. After contacting the front desk, I found out it needed a remote control. So, why have a non-functional AC switch on the wall? Also, the toilet seat was loose, and the mini-fridge only worked if you manually plugged it in. They upgraded me to a courtyard room with a balcony, and they did warn me in advance about the loud frog croaking. Indeed, the sound was just like bullfrogs, but it was fine; even bullfrogs need to sleep, so they didn't croak all night. My sleep quality was good, and it didn't affect us at all. Breakfast was included, but the restaurant was truly something else – I've never encountered anything like it. I arrived before 8 AM, and the air conditioning had just been turned on, making it incredibly hot. Halfway through my meal, I couldn't stand it and had to turn on another AC unit myself. Everything you wanted to eat had to be ordered from a menu; there was nothing ready-made. The selection was pitifully small, basically just the kind of steamed buns you'd find at a roadside stall. There was rice noodle soup too, but it was the worst I've ever tasted. I stayed for two nights and didn't bother with breakfast on the second day. What's worth praising in the restaurant, however, is the freshly ground coffee. The espresso was strong and ranks quite high among hotel breakfasts I've tried. Going out to eat was quite convenient, with plenty of restaurants nearby."
