"The room wasn't as big as I expected; in fact, the rooms on the first floor seemed larger. The hotel service was excellent; any issues were resolved immediately. Every night, there's a complimentary sweet soup. I didn't try it, but the butler always informed guests it was available on a first-come, first-served basis. Right outside the hotel is a street full of bars, including 216 Restaurant & Bar and Malt, all just a short walk away. It's a great way to spend time, just chilling there for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. There are also plenty of good restaurants nearby. At night, the bars are incredibly lively and bustling – definitely a young crowd!"

"Everything was great, except the price during Chinese New Year was indeed very high. If it were in the 800-1000 range, I think it would be a fantastic hotel. I really loved the environment; after seeing too much of the sea, experiencing tropical nature felt really refreshing and met my expectations. All the staff were very enthusiastic, and the shuttle service offered unlimited rides to nearby attractions. Overall, it exceeded my expectations. Compared to the Westin I'm staying at now, I'd much rather be there; this place feels like a chaotic market with almost zero service."

"After much deliberation between Shenzhou Peninsula and Riyue Bay, we finally decided on Shenzhou Peninsula, and this hotel truly exceeded our expectations. It's really good and very affordable. Upon arrival, you first check in at Banshan Banhai, and then a shuttle bus takes you to the front desk for check-in and to your room. The service was surprisingly excellent, and the room was spotlessly clean."

I stumbled upon this detached villa homestay in Shimei Bay, and it just dials up the tropical romance to eleven✨. Open the window to lush greenery, and wake up to a truly healing view. The bedding is soft and clean, and the layout is spacious and comfortable – a super rejuvenating stay. The service at the homestay is incredibly thoughtful! Breakfast and aromatic coffee are all provided. Plus, you can rent electric scooters, making it easy to check out Jiuli Bookstore and Shimei Bay Beach. Chase the sea breeze and sunset by day, then fall asleep to the sound of insects and starlight by night. This is exactly the relaxed vibe a island vacation should have 🌊."

"We had a wonderful two day stay. There weren’t many guests around on the dates we stayed, so it felt like we had the place to ourselves. The hotel offered a shuttle golf buggy to the beach and nearby places which was a bonus. It rained heavily while we at the beach so staff picked us up in a car. I have already recommended the hotel to a friend! Staff: Friendly, helpful and attentive. Breakfast: Fresh and healthy, served in the outside coffee/bar summer house. Afternoon Tea: Tasty fruit, fresh juice, local biscuits. Hotel surroundings: The garden is planted thoughtfully and kept tidy. It was nice to have the open covered seating area to rest and read a book. The furniture is good quality and comfy. Swimming pool is a nice size and clean apart from some surface bugs. (it’s not easy to keep all flies/insects out off the pool in a hot place) Dog friendly hotel, the owner’s puppy was super cute! Room: Super view over the mountains. Large balcony. Furniture, towels, toiletries and bedding all high quality. Decor tasteful and modern. Everything felt reasonably new and in good repair. Surrounding area: Quiet village, plenty of places to eat or get coffee. Only cons: Coffee is not included as standard with the breakfast. When it rains the cushions on the balcony’s outside furniture oget wet so you can’t sit on them for some time. I personally didn’t like that you could see into the ground floor rooms from the outside seating and sunbathing areas."

The surrounding area is very convenient, with restaurants and supermarkets nearby, making dining and shopping easy. I had a very comfortable stay. "Facilities: Extremely well-equipped. The bedding was super comfortable, and they had all the essential kids' amenities. Hygiene: Spotless. I walked barefoot upon check-in and didn't feel a single speck. The pool was cleaned and skimmed daily, and the water was crystal clear with no debris. Environment: Beautiful! There's a heart-shaped pool, and the overall decor has a lovely Southeast Asian vibe. Our room's balcony opened directly onto the pool canal, which was perfect for kids to play in. Service: Every staff member was incredibly patient. They kindly upgraded our room for free when they saw we had two babies. They actively helped with our luggage and even assisted with looking after our 6-month-old baby, which was incredibly thoughtful and warm. Overall, the food and drinks were all great and perfectly suited our tastes. While it's a bit far from local attractions, it's very quiet and comfortable. This hidden gem of a guesthouse was a pleasant surprise! The experience was fantastic, and I'll definitely be back!"

"Just got back from Wanning, so I'm posting this review while it's fresh. First, the conclusion: if you care about your vacation experience and local sightseeing, I don't recommend coming here. Here's why: 1. **Location**: The hotel is on an island in Riyue Bay. After exiting the highway, you'll drive down a narrow beach road popular for surfing. This road is often lined with parked cars, and electric scooters weave through, making it very easy to get stuck in traffic when encountering oncoming vehicles. During peak tourist season, it becomes unbearable, making travel a huge problem. 2. **Lack of Activities**: Apart from the Sunac Chapel, there's basically nothing else to do on the island. There are no beaches suitable for swimming; the actual beaches are outside the island. 3. **Subpar Service**: The hotel's service isn't attentive or detailed enough. (1) The hotel is split into two buildings, A and B, with another building under renovation. When our taxi dropped us off at Building B, we were completely lost, not knowing where to check-in (a sign pointing to Building A would have been helpful here). (2) Buildings A and B are not connected. Guests staying in Building B have to go outdoors to get to Building A for breakfast. During the National Day holiday, we encountered a typhoon with heavy rain, and walking around with an umbrella at the hotel felt incredibly awkward and inconvenient. (3) During check-in, the front desk assigned us a room that was already occupied. A bewildered man suddenly appeared in the room, making the situation extremely awkward. After a long and tiring journey involving planes, high-speed trains, and taxis, encountering this made me very angry. Later, a manager-level staff member came to calm us down, offering a room upgrade and a fruit platter. Overall, the staff (e.g., breakfast staff playing on their phones) and the environment gave me the impression that the hotel isn't really committed to operating well; it felt more like a guesthouse in terms of quality. So, perhaps you should reconsider your room rates."

The stay experience exceeded expectations 💯! 🌟 Environment and public area: three small buildings + double swimming pools It is composed of three independent small buildings, and the privacy is very good! It also comes with two oversized open-air swimming pools! The water quality is very clean, you can play in the pool without going to the beach, the holiday atmosphere is directly full, and the photo hin is released. 🌟 Room experience: Minimal style + whole house smart The room is very advanced and beautiful minimalist ins style, which makes people relax as soon as they enter the door. The room is also clean and has a bathtub. Equipped with smart equipment, lights, curtains, air conditioning can be controlled by moving the mouth, lazy people are ecstatic on vacation! 🚗 Parking & Charging: Self-driving stalls close your eyes!
