"The hotel location is perfect. Right next to a metro station and within walking distance of the Bell Tower, Drum Tower, Muslim Quarter and City Wall. The room was clean and comfortable. The only negative point I have for this hotel would be if you are a light sleeper you may want to request a room away from the main road at the front of the hotel, as the windows are not particularly sound proof and there is a busy road with associated noise if you are facing it. The staff were very friendly and helpful."

"Came with my dad but I wish I had brought all my friends and family so they could all experience this amazing accomodation!! Absolutely fantastic experience here, I could not recommend it more! This place is incredibly foreigner friendly with quite a few staff who can speak English and the amenities are beyond outstanding. Even for foreigners who know a fair bit of Chinese like me, it was so easy to talk to all the staff and I felt so at ease. Every picture I took made me think I was nestled in the forests of Japan. From the rooftop gardens, to the tea rooms, to the front communal space, and personal rooms, everything is curated to perfection and tech filled to the max! Expect vintage stereos, vinyl players and projectors at every communal area! All the staff are so friendly and create the welcoming community energy that tremendously enriches your experience in Xi’an. There is also a pub opposite the road for complimentary happy hours, communal hot pots and dumpling making on different nights! I cannot wait to recommend this hotel to everyone I know, and I am beyond excited to bring my family and friends back here!"

"The hotel is right at the city centre Bell Tower ( exit 6 of the Bell Tower pedestrian  underpass). It is connected to subway line 2 and 6.  The staffs are very polite and helpful, the room is clean and comfortable.  The breakfast selection is reasonable. The only thing that I feel can improve is the laundry room. There are only 1 consumer dryer and 4 consumer washers. Many hotel have much more advance laundry room with better equipments."

"Wow - what an amazing stay! HeSu Designer Hotel caught my eye months before our trip and I felt it was destiny for us to stay there. It was gorgeous - there is various artwork all around. The room itself felt like a mini apartment! The lighting was great. The rainfall shower head was very nice and the toilet with bidet was a nice feature! I had several packages delivered and the front desk helped me locate them. Please double check your fridge upon arrival, it may be unplugged (better for the environment!) Everything was very comfortable - the bed was especially comfy!!! Location wise absolutely brilliant. Walkable to Muslim Quarter and other scenic sites!!!! Would stay here again!"

"Not sure how they got the trip partner award but I have strong doubts - I paid more to stay at this hotel over many others on the same street and was sorely disappointed. Firstly, hotel is on 2 levels of a bigger building. The entrance looked extremely dodgy, especially when there’s no building light in the late night. The lift also takes forever to come. My biggest pain had to be the extremely thin walls!!! I could hear the family in the next room all night as well as the cleaner lady clearing her throat excessively in the early morning. I’m a light sleeper so I basically had an awful time for several nights. Charging port was not working well (i could not insert my adaptor and had to use the bathroom port). There was also no type c port which was terribly inconvenient since the main plug was already not working. Marketed that they have a minibar (one would assume a small fridge) but there wasn’t any - I couldn’t keep any of my food deliveries. There were daily cleaning services but air was dusty and you can probably see it. The only pro is the location which was close to the metro and attraction sites. Room was spacious with a smart toilet as well. You can deliver your courier packages to the reception but for food delivery it’s restricted to the first floor ******* lockers."

"I stayed for three days and found the front desk service warm and attentive. The location is incredibly convenient, with major tourist attractions like the Bell Tower and Muslim Quarter all within walking distance. Subway lines 2 and 6 are also very close by. Parking was a bit tight during the holiday, but it was always resolved. Dining and shopping options are excellent. The hotel room design is very well thought out, making great use of the space, which made it feel very comfortable. The natural lighting in the room was also excellent, giving it a cozy vibe."

"I randomly picked a hotel on Ctrip and was pleasantly surprised. The front desk staff provided excellent service; they were very friendly, and check-in was exceptionally quick. The hotel lobby is also quite spacious. I was even given two complimentary breakfasts, and I noticed their comprehensive anti-fraud information. The staff also recommended local attractions, specifically Yongxingfang. I went there, had a great time, and the local snacks were delicious. Right next to the hotel, Zhongshan Gate offers access to the city wall, so I took the opportunity to explore it. Walking along it, I truly understood why it's celebrated as the largest and best-preserved ancient city wall existing today – it was incredibly impressive. With 18 picturesque city gates, it's definitely worth a visit. Later, feeling quite tired, I took a taxi back to the hotel using the business card the front desk had provided. Once back, I rested in my room. Upon check-in, I had also received two complimentary bottles of water. The room itself features a lovely Chinese-style decor, is very spacious and roomy, feeling not at all cramped. It appeared newly renovated and was spotlessly clean. The mattress was incredibly comfortable, which I truly appreciated. The next morning, I went to the fifth floor for breakfast. It was a Chinese buffet offering a variety of home-style dishes, which were quite good and delicious! The hotel's location is fantastic, being very close to the subway station, making getting around incredibly convenient. It's served by both Line 4 and Line 1. Line 4, in particular, gets you to popular attractions like Datang Everbright City, Big Wild Goose Pagoda, and Datang Furong Garden in just 5-6 stops. It's genuinely super convenient! Highly, highly recommended!"

From the moment I arrived to the moment I checked out, every detail was perfect. If you're looking for the ideal base to explore the magnificent city of Xi'an, look no further. Perfect Location for Exploration: The hotel's location is its first winning feature. It's just a short and pleasant walk to both Metro Lines 2 and 4, making the entire city incredibly accessible. Even more impressively, the majestic Xi'an City Wall is right on your doorstep. Stepping out of the hotel, you're a stone's throw from the Yongningmen (永宁门) South Gate, which is not only one of the most iconic entrances but also the most popular starting point for walking or cycling the wall. Being able to start my wall journey there at sunrise was an unforgettable experience. Impeccable Service from Start to Finish: The service here sets a new standard. The warmth began the second I walked in, with a seamless and efficient check-in procedure. The staff immediately took care of my baggage, which was a welcome relief after a long journey. This high level of attentive service was consistent throughout my stay. A special mention must go to the incredibly friendly and professional staff. Feng and Ting at the front desk were phenomenal - always offering a warm smile, helpful local tips, and going above and beyond to assist. This warmth extended to the room service team, who were very thorough, and the personnel at the breakfast buffet, who were always cheerful and attentive. Spotless and Comfortable Rooms: The rooms are modern, spacious, and, most importantly, impeccably clean. The housekeeping team does an outstanding job. The room service was very thorough, with every corner of the room maintained to a high standard of cleanliness, which provided great peace of mind. Conclusion: This was, without a doubt, a non-negotiable 5/5 experience. The combination of the prime location, spotless facilities, and most of all, the genuinely kind and professional staff, made my trip to Xi'an truly special. I would not hesitate for a second to book here again on my next visit and will be recommending it to all my friends. Thank you for a wonderful stay!"

"Pros: 1. Location was great, only few mins walk to major attractions. 2. Staff are generally helpful but don't speak a lot of English, so need to use a translation app. 3. Airport transfer is in reasonable price and driver are nice, van is very clean. Cons: When it come to the room and general environment, this is where the problem comes: 1. My room is facing the backstreet, so can hear some noises esp with the car beeping and the good old spitting from someone living opposite the building first thing in the morning. 2. The room aircon is set to 24 degrees no matter how low I tried to turn the aircon to, it can be a bit hot for some. 3. There are mould in the room and common area which leads to my constant cough and asthma. 4. Have asked to clean room everyday and the cleaner only refill the water, clear the bins but they do not clean the mugs. You have to do it yourself apparently..."

"前台和迎宾很尽责，efficient, friendly & helpful. Environment is peaceful and serene despite not far from amenities. Location is near to a few upmarket shopping complexes and a supermarket that is frequent by locals. There r quite a few goid restaurants within walking distance. The floor to ceiling window is a big plus, night view of the city wall and oldtown is magnificient. Washing machine n dryers are convenient for us travellers who stay for a few nights. Love the brown sugar ginger tea cubes provided, suitable for consumption in falls n winter. 自助洗衣机和烘乾机很方便。 早餐偏向中式."
