"Plus:
The room is very nice size, very clean and near the railway station.
The reception is very friendly and helpful
Minus:
They claim my booking does not include breakfast but I did book with breakfast. So I have to contact Trip.com to sort this out. Waste of time.
No kettle in the room. I requested for one and they say EUR5, but they waived the charge. It’s nice but then why is it so difficult to have a kettle?
The soap dispenser is filled with hair conditioner! I told the receptionist. He is super nice and gave me a small travel size for the night first. Super kind. Next morning, they changed but this time again they filled in the wrong bottles haha. I gave up.
The breakfast is very nice, good variety and quality."

The breakfast was the best I have had in a very long time- photos don't do it justice
Looking forward to returning"

"The location was great, just 10min from the airport with free shuttle bus. The shuttle bus was on schedule. The room was very clean and everything inside was excellent and good functional. The room was quite small for 4 people but had enough space for luggage. The bed was very comfortable. The staffs were very helpful.
The breakfast began at 4am which is good for early flight travellers. The breakfast was very very good. There a lot of delicious things; bread, hot oat, salad, ham, cheese, coffee and juice. The cinnamon roll is the best!"

"Our first hotel on our trip to Europe with our dog – highly recommended!!
The location is incredibly convenient, only about a 3-minute walk from the train station.
There's a large lawn right outside, perfect for dog walking.
The hotel staff were super nice. The cleaning fee was cheap, but they provided a dog bed, treats, a water bowl, etc.
If we ever go back to Helsinki, we'll definitely stay here again."

"We stayed here for just one night and the location is near the railway station and most of the tourists attractions in walk distance. The rooms is quite spacious except the towels smell like long time no change.. can’t find the phone in room to contact the front desk but they did reply through email as a timely manner. The hotel is quite big so needs some walk inside to get to the room, no bellboy to handle your luggage. And suitcase storage is a room with lock but without any tag attachment service. Guest just put the suitcases themselves in and the space may be not enough so some of the suitcases need to be put outside the room with no particular person to take care of. Overall, good to have a short stay here. The breakfast choice is various and food is good"

"Overall, my stay was great. The hotel is centrally located, making it super convenient to get around, and it's just a short walk to the train station. The hotel's facilities and environment were excellent, and the staff were warm and friendly. The breakfast was also rich and delicious. The only minor issue was that the air conditioning didn't seem very effective; even when set between 21-23 degrees Celsius, I barely felt any airflow. Luckily, I didn't get cold while sleeping. I wonder if this is due to Nordic energy-saving practices."

It also had 2 jacuzzis, a steam room and a sauna which was wonderful after a long day of exploring Helsinki. There was a metro and tram station right outside and a Lidl and kmart right next to it. "It has bidet!!! 10/10. First time to see one in EU.
Perfect location just right outside of the hotel is a tram stop. It has a grand lobby with a nice overlooking of a Town Square which is good for People Watching. Room is clean and spacious. I was able to checkin early at 12pm.
My only complaint is the pillow. It’s too ‘bloated’ and not comfortable for sleeping. So I used the duvet of my other bed (being in a Twind Bed Room) as my pillow. The handwash container was empty. But the shower is nice. Strong waterflow."

Great
GGuest UserThe hotel reception staff were very friendly and welcoming. They offer complimentary afternoon tea, coffee, alcoholic beverages, water, and snacks. It's close to the beach and the breakfast is plentiful. The room size was a bit small, but that's common for hotels in Europe.

PPeter YipWe stay at the Radisson Blue Plaza Hotel located at the central area, it’s very convenient for getting around as the main sightseeing spots are easily accessible, just 10-15 minutes walking distance. We are happy with the services, breakfast and facilities overall. One thing that I want to give credit to the hotel is that the toilet flush suddenly didn’t work on the second last day of our stay. The front desk officer immediately arranged a new room for us, which was just next door. The prompt response and arrangement was very much appreciated.
GGuest UserA decent choice if you’re coming for work or business. The hotel has a spacious common area with plenty of desks, meeting rooms, and sofas, which makes it easy to work or take calls. Other shared facilities include a kitchen, steam room, sauna, and jacuzzi.
Breakfast is served at a café connected to their Noli 2 property, so if you book a room with breakfast you’ll need to walk there. It’s fine but not remarkable — limited options, and a bit disappointing since there’s a full restaurant on-site that serves meals later in the day. Not a big issue, but worth noting.
Room amenities are quite mixed. I stayed in two different studio rooms - both had some unexpected conveniences like full utensils, a washing machine, and an oven, but oddly no TV or couch. Service is also limited: check-in is self-service, and staff are only available during certain hours. It’s definitely a lower service level than most hotels I’ve stayed at elsewhere, though perhaps that’s typical for Finland or this price range.
Overall, it’s not a bad stay by any means. If you’re here for work and want a practical base in the area, it’s a solid option - just come with the right expectations.
FFantastic13Overall, my recent stay with Bob W was disappointing.
I booked the 4-person penthouse room primarily for the use of the sauna on my last day of the trip.
Firstly, pin code provided was only valid for door access to the stairs, not door to the elevator side at night. This became a significant inconvenience, especially for a female traveler like myself who arrived at night after a tiring flight. Having to carry a 20kg luggage and a 10kg carry-on up five flights of stairs was both physically demanding and frustrating. Clear arrangements on how to access the elevator at night should have been considered for guest.
Secondly, check-in process was not clearly communicated, causing panic upon arrival. Unfortunately, I had to seek help from customer service on a third-party booking site and reach out via email to obtain a check-in link, which added unnecessary stress and confusion.
Furthermore, instruction for turning on the sauna were unclear, and I was unable to enjoy it until the next morning at 8am, just few hours before my checkout time. I had specifically chosen the penthouse room with the sauna for a relaxing and enjoyable experience. due to the lack of clear instructions, and had to seek assistance to figure out how to operate it properly, which ate into the limited time I had available to enjoy the amenity.
In conclusion, my stay with Bob W fell short of my expectations. The limited time to enjoy the amenities, issues during the check-in process and accessing the elevator, made for a less than satisfactory experience. I hope that Bob W seriously takes feedback into consideration and makes the necessary improvements to ensure a more enjoyable stay for travelers in the future. Thank you
GGuest UserBreakfast being included is a great perk, especially with the high cost of living here – I think it's a good deal. It was also really helpful that we could store our luggage before check-in.
OOrMaryVery nice and welcoming staff! Nice wait staff in the restaurant too. Nice little room. Would definitely come back! The wellness area was a bit pricey for an add on but really nice and chill when quiet! I just would have liked a staff member there to manage noise and groups as I wanted to go on my last night but it was very overcrowded with loud intimidating groups. The location was pretty good, out of the centre but very accessible by tram.
GGuest UserI recently stayed at Scandic Helsinki Airport and had a really pleasant experience overall. The location was unbeatable — literally a short walk from the airport terminal, which made it perfect for my early morning flight.
The room was clean and modern, with comfortable beds that made it easy to get a good night’s sleep after a long day of travel. The Wi-Fi worked well throughout the room, and the stylish design gave the space a cozy, Nordic feel.
I also really enjoyed the breakfast buffet. There was a good variety of options, and it was a great way to fuel up before heading out or heading to the airport.
The hotel staff were friendly and helpful, and check-in/check-out was smooth and efficient. The overall atmosphere felt calm and relaxed, which was perfect between flights
If I had one tiny suggestion, it would be that some rooms feel a bit compact — but for an airport hotel that’s typical and didn’t bother me much.
Overall, I’d definitely recommend this hotel for anyone needing a convenient, clean, and comfortable stay right by the airport — especially for short stays or transit days
GGuest UserThe hotel's breakfast was delicious; it was one of the more Asian-friendly options among the typical European hotels. The place definitely has a vintage feel, but the rooms were exceptionally clean.
AAlberto Fernandez ReyesNice and modern hotel. Breakfast was good and bed was really confortable. I would totally recomend this hotel for relatives and friends. Only downside is that it is close to railway station and mall. Drunk people are always around the mall.

VVinharound Travel Outlook⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Great Stay at Scandic Paasi – Clean, Stylish, and Comfortable
Our group of friends from Vietnam had a very pleasant stay at Scandic Paasi during our recent trip to Helsinki. Overall, the hotel was beautiful, clean, and offered very good quality for the price.
The rooms were modern, well-designed, and spotless. Beds were comfortable, the bathroom was clean and well-maintained, and everything felt neat and thoughtfully arranged. After long days exploring the city, it was a great place to rest and recharge.
We also loved the hotel’s unique design and cozy atmosphere—it felt modern but still warm and welcoming. The common areas were spacious and nicely decorated, perfect for relaxing or chatting together as a group.
The location was convenient, with easy access to public transportation, restaurants, and key attractions in Helsinki. Breakfast was another highlight: good variety, fresh ingredients, and a nice Scandinavian touch that our group really enjoyed.
Overall, Scandic Paasi delivered exactly what we were looking for: a clean, comfortable, and high-quality hotel experience. We would definitely recommend it to friends and would happily stay here again on our next visit to Helsinki.
