"Conveniently located near New Street Station, just about a 10-minute walk away. Close to a market and large shopping malls, making it super easy to stock up on food and do some shopping. The front desk staff were friendly. The room facilities were well-equipped, though it's a shame the kitchen didn't have an oven. Great location, but it can be a bit noisy at night."

Located in the Centre of the city of Birmingham, The Hyatt Regency Birmingham is a 319 room deluxe hotel. The Hotel is one of the few in Birmingham that combines a central location for both business and leisure. Our hotel offers a range of luxury rooms, from spacious Guestrooms to the exclusive Presidential Suite. Guests can enjoy breathtaking views over either the City Centre, or the Birmingham City Canals. The hotel is linked directly to the Birmingham International Convention Centre (ICC) and Symphony Hall. It is within walking distance of Broad Street and Brindley Place, the city's vibrant nightlife area. The Hyatt Regency Birmingham is also only ten minutes by train from Birmingham International Airport and the National Exhibition Centre (NEC).

"Hyatt Rengency Hotel Birmingham is a very nice and cozy hotel with great facilities. It offers halal food, and prayer mats are available upon request, which I really appreciated. The leisure facilities are lovely, with a heated swimming pool, steam room, sauna, jacuzzi, and spa. However, my stay was let down by the fact that the room did not have a smart TV as mentioned on the website, which caused a lot of wasted time considering that I planned to stay in most of the times. The hotel eventually upgraded us (to a similar room just a few floors higher) after several contact made to reception and a long wait, but I’m grateful to Kenza for her assistance. On checkout, Nandini was very kind and offered support for my next visit as a gesture for the inconvenience. There's also an issue with parking, which operates on a first come first serve basis. So if you park your car on day 1 and say you're staying for 3 days, you have to pay for the parking for 3 days ahead which is £27 for 24hr. During these days if you happen to take your car out and come back with no free parking space, you lose your money. Your slot is not reserved. It would be better if they charge us for parking when we are leaving the car park rather than making us pay in advance. Overall, a comfortable hotel with excellent amenities, but clearer information on room facilities would have made the stay much smoother. I would have come better prepared."

Perfectly positioned in the vibrant Brindleyplace, on bustling Broad Street, Novotel Birmingham Centre places you just moments from the city top attractions. We are less than a mile from Utilita Arena Birmingham, Symphony Hall, ICC, LEGOLAND Discovery Centre, and the National SEA LIFE Centre. A short 15-minute walk takes you to the iconic Bullring, Grand Central, and the historic Jewellery Quarter, while Thinktank Birmingham Science Museum is just four miles away.

"The location was great, but unfortunately, the hotel room was not. There was no air conditioning, and the room was quite hot, especially during the summer. The front desk explained that the hotel uses a natural air-cooling system, but unfortunately, it did not help much. The toilet was also separated from the actual shower room by a different door, which was somewhat inconvenient. Lastly, one of the staff members in charge of the breakfast area (Male wearing a suit that checks the breakfast list) was rude and very unwelcoming to guests. This experience made us think twice about whether we would want to come back again. Overall, while the location was great, there are several areas where the hotel could improve, particularly the room temperature and the customer service."

It was perfect location. 10 minutes from the train station, 5-10 minutes from the arena. There is also a lot of night life so we managed to find a nice place just across the road to have some food and drinks. The room was lovely too! We had two double beds so we managed to sleep very well after the concert! Will definitely stay again if we have another trip to Birmingham!"

"We stayed at Aloft in Birmingham as it was very central to both the University and Birrmingham New Street Station. Very pleasant and accommodating staffs. The room was a little chilly, but after requesting a reset of the air conditioning unit it soon warmed through. Unfortunately we had to check out 2 hours early as the whole building was without electricity. We were informed in advance this was to happen 24hrs before our stay began. O/A a pleasant experience and will have no hesitation in staying there again"

The apartment was central, clean and presentable. The bed seemed smaller than a double. The bathroom and kitchen facilities were good. The TV was not programmed and we were unable to connect the tv to the internet so it remained unused. We had two main issues during our night stay. One - Continuous Horrendous noise from 11:45pm till early hours of the morning 1:30am ish then for it to start again at 4am. The noise was bottles being put in bins and bins being moved. It sounded like the bottles were being dropped from a height into the bin then the bins being emptied. We had such a poor nights sleep. In the morning we could see that the bins were right up against our windows to the apartment. Two - We eventually dropped off to sleep to be woken up by our apartment door being opened and someone saying Hello..my husband shouted and the person apologised and shut the door. It was very scary and our privacy was disturbed and our sleep, and due to the fact we couldn’t sleep in the night, it was very unpleasant. I did not feel safe. I emailed the company for an explanation but had nil response.

The hotel is located in a convenient location beside the canal. Checking in was straight forward and reception staff helpful when changing from a double room to twin room. Clean room no complaints Felt cooked breakfast the next day a bit underpar - bacon slightly too hard and hash browns were soggy so disappointing.

Room has fridge, ac,smart tv, dishwasher, kettle, cafetière. There are free tea and coffee facilities on second floor. Staff are friendly. Breakfast was okay - fried foods, salad, coffee, fruits/salad. Would definitely stay again if visiting the city.

It was generally a good stay. The only two issues I had this time were: 1- The shower drain was almost blocked. It took me ages to take my shower as the water was about to flood and I had to clise the water and wait for it to be emptied before I could open the water again. 2- the was not enough toilet paper.

What a gem! Literally direct opposite one of the rear entrances of the grand New Street Station, up the stairs/lift into a little arcade of shops (nail bar/hair salon and luxury watches) and the hotel entrance. The check in lobby is nothing much impressive but the overall building and decor with high ceilings, big staircases and marble surfaces are albeit a bit outdated in tone, still much preferable to us. The room is very spacious and the bathroom with Elemis supplied soap walk-shower and self-standing bathtub is the biggest we’ve ever been into. The hotel bar, restaurant and breakfast area are located on the first floor looking over the New Street pedestrian shopping street and the staff are very good. ROOM ✖️ Bidet/Toilet Shower ☑️ Powerful Shower ✖️ Separate Conditioner ✖️ Vanity Kit ☑️ Slippers ☑️ Bathrobe ☑️ Double Pillows ☑️ Kettle ✖️ Balcony/Terrace ✖️ Smart TV HOTEL ✖️ Well Appointed Reception Area ☑️ Professional Staff ✖️ Beautiful public areas ☑️ Good adjacent restaurants ✖️ Outdoor protected seating

Lovely place to stay, the owner was very responsive which is great and accommodated a late check out which I totally appreciate! I was originally given the wrong room but once Informed the owner he amended this and apologised. The original room I wanted actually had a broken door panel which he explained but it didn’t bother me to be honest. Loved the bath and the projector - a few things unfortunately that need to be looked into, the bathroom flooded during my shower with the water migrating to the right side which then needed me to physically use whatever I could to get the water towards the shower drain. The bath, when you’re running it the attached shower continuously also drops water again which I had to get whatever I could to soak up. There is no shampoo or conditioner in the shower, bath salts would be a lovely touch considering I feel the bath is a real selling point to the room. The cutlery was dirty but it’s ok because I wash anything before I use it. In the morning workmen whithin the apartment were making the MOST noise, literally in the little terrace just under the apartments windows however the apartment does have supply pair of earbuds which I soon realised was needed. Either way I will stay again for sure but yeah needs some tweaks which I’m highlighting as constructive feedback. Thanks Gurmukh

I stay here once a year as it is not far from the NEC in Birmingham. The location of the hotel is perfect as so close to the motorway but feels like you are in countryside as so quiet and relaxing. It could probably do with a little TLC as the some of the furniture in my room was looking a little tired but still very clean. The staff are lovely and helpful with good service. I have been to this hotel many times over the years and only used the swimming pool once which is the only downside to this place. I would not use again as not the relaxing hotel experience I anticipated as was very busy. Priority appears to be given to the paying public over hotel residents and the changing room was disgusting with used towels piled high on the floor. Staff were stood around having a laugh with their mates and had to interrupt to ask where to get towels then had to ask another member of the public how to open the lockers. I would continue to use this hotel but wouldn’t risk the swimming pool again.

Spacious Rooms: The rooms are very large, offering plenty of space to unpack and relax. Great Kitchen Amenities: The room is equipped with fantastic amenities, specifically the dishwasher, hob, and microwave, which made the stay very convenient. Amazing Location: Perfectly situated with numerous restaurants, attractions, and public transport links right on the doorstep, plus plenty of convenience stores nearby. Exceptional Staff: The entire team was amazing, from the welcoming reception to the room service staff. Air Conditioning: Having proper AC was a huge bonus and a lifesaver during the hot days. Needs improvement Tiny Washroom: The bathroom is incredibly cramped. It is so small that you have to awkwardly shuffle around just to manage closing the door. Uncomfortable Bed Setup: Instead of an actual double bed, the hotel pushed two single beds together. This created a hollow, sinking gap in the middle of the mattresses, which was quite uncomfortable. Infrequent Housekeeping: We only received room cleaning once during our entire 11-day stay. Even considering it is an aparthotel, the lack of daily or more frequent room service was disappointing for a trip of that length. No In-Room Washing Machine: Despite having a kitchen setup, there was no washing machine inside the room, which would have been very helpful for a longer stay.

After unable to leave Birmingham, We decided to stop at the Clayton again and give it another night from the bad system issues they were having. This was a lot better granted and the floors are very secure having floor locked to your key cards to get access. Breakfast we were earlier down and it paid off. Breakfast was better this time. Only little issue was the bathroom could do with a bit more attention to detail with little bits of little black mold in the more harder to reach areas and red residue in the grouting in the tiles. Apart from that sure I’d sure recommend it for the pricing
