"This hotel offers good accessibility; it's about a 10-minute walk from the station, so no need for extra transfers. The room layout is well-planned and appropriately sized, featuring a sofa bed that's perfect for an extra guest or just relaxing. The overall environment is clean, with no hidden spots for dirt. There are plenty of dining options nearby, with various restaurants clustered together, making daily meals very convenient. Overall, the stay met my travel needs and offered decent value for money."

"On my first visit to Kobe, I stayed at the Hotel Okura near the port. This time, I chose the Daiwa Premier in Sannomiya, and its location is fantastic – convenient for transport, shopping, and dining. The breakfast wasn't overly extensive, but it offered both Japanese and Western options, and the taste was good. One thing that really puzzled me was the absence of boiled eggs, which is something I've never encountered in any other Japanese hotel I've stayed at. The washing machines are modern drum types, very efficient, and even have a sanitizing function. You can pay with your phone. Even though there are only three machines, they're usually available as there aren't too many guests using them. The separate wet and dry bathroom is excellent. Being able to soak in the bathtub every day to relieve fatigue from the day before is a huge plus for me when booking a hotel. Overall, it's a great hotel and highly recommended. I'll most likely choose to stay here again on my next visit."

"The hotel is very clean and well-maintained. It's just a short walk to Daimaru and the airport bus stop, right across from Sannomiya Station. The hot springs are also great, though during my stay, some Koreans were showering very rudely, splashing water everywhere, even onto people in the pools. Very uncivilized. Facilities: Complete Cleanliness: Excellent, even the remote control was bagged, very satisfied. Environment: Quiet Service: Late check-out was very useful."

"The hotel boasts an excellent location right next to Sannomiya Station, with plenty of shopping and dining options nearby. The room was a bit cramped. There were English-speaking staff at the front desk, which made communication very easy. Check-in is at 2 PM and check-out is at 12 PM, which is more convenient than other Japanese hotels. The breakfast offered a wide variety and good quality. The hotel also has fantastic views; you can see the ocean to the south and the mountains to the north, which is beautiful. It's an excellent choice for sightseeing in Kobe."

"Let's talk about the facilities. Honestly, after Hilton renovated and unified several Japanese business hotel chains, the facilities and hygiene definitely feel like they've gone up a notch. Of course, the price has also gone up a notch. The location is less than 1km from Sannomiya JR and Hanshin, so it's not really far. It's genuinely close to Ijinkan and several well-known bakeries. However, it's quite a bit further from the shopping district and the trendy cafe area by the sea. I practically walked my legs off to see the Van Gogh exhibit, so the convenience factor was a bit lacking. Still, I'd definitely want to come back to Kobe because even if I walk my legs off again, it's not that big of a city."

"Quite a nice hotel. Accessible to places via walking. The room is clean and comfortable. Daily changing of towels and bath robes is provided (may not be that environmental friendly). It will be good to provide a few hangers 😊 Otherwise, it's been a pleasant stay in the hotel."

"The hotel's location is great, very close to Sannomiya but not in the busiest area, so it's very quiet. We stayed for four nights. The first three nights were in a double room. Due to a change in our itinerary, we added an extra night. We thought the twin room might be more spacious, but it turned out to be the same size as the double room. With two single beds crammed in, the room felt very small and wasn't as convenient for moving around as the double room. We could open one 28-inch suitcase, but opening another 28-inch one wasn't as easy as in the double room. The hotel staff were friendly and enthusiastic, providing toothbrushes, towels, and slippers for the child. Besides the kids' items, the room's towels, slippers, toothbrushes, makeup remover pads, and combs were replaced daily, and two new bottles of water were provided. However, extra water couldn't be requested. The hotel also offers luggage storage, which is very convenient."

"The English proficiency of the local staff is appallingly bad. I went to drop off my luggage and was told I couldn't check-in yet as it was too early. After finally checking in, I discovered my room was right next to the elevator. When booking, I had specifically requested a room away from the elevator, quiet, and non-smoking. It's my fault for not reconfirming with them, so I had to drag my luggage back to the front desk to change rooms. The new room was still on the street side, right next to the elevated highway, and directly opposite Kobe Station – you can imagine how noisy it was. This is an old hotel that's been renovated. You don't need a key card for any of the elevators, so female travelers staying alone should definitely be mindful of their safety. The quality of the renovation can only be described with a 'heh,' the details are just dreadful. Forget the small details, the door wouldn't even close automatically; you had to manually push and pull it to make sure it latched properly. The mini-bar light switch had an intensely bright light that was dazzling at night. Amenities weren't replenished on the second day, not even the drinking water. The staff passage, which also serves as a fire escape, was left wide open until 8 PM, indicating a lapse in safety management. The water pressure and temperature in the shower were unstable – hot one moment, cold the next, and then the water flow would suddenly diminish. I don't even want to comment on the breakfast; it felt worse than what you'd get at a slightly better budget hotel. The only made-to-order hot dish was an omelet. Every single cup was endlessly covered in limescale and scratches."

"The front desk staff could communicate in English, and they even offered free breakfast, which was a nice touch. I recommend asking the hotel in advance for a room with a nice view, otherwise, you might end up like me... pulling back the curtains to a cement wall."
