"Very nice and comfortable hotel. After a long flight, we were happy to say we had a very very good sleep. We only woke up at 5.14am thinking we overslept but Hokkaido summer is here and sunrise is around 4am!
We love the Onsen and its cleanliness. The staff were helpful and attentive. They sent us extra pillows very quickly.
This hotel is about 10-15 minutes walk from the JR station. Use the north exit - you'll only see the North Exit sign when you exit either East or West ticket gates. We had to find the sign and even the staff gave us the wrong information!"

"This hotel is super convenient, just three meters from Exit 24 of Odori Station. It even offers views of the Sapporo Clock Tower from the smoking area on the second floor or the rooftop terrace!
The rooms are quite spacious, definitely bigger than what you'd typically find in Tokyo or Osaka. They even come equipped with a sound system and record player, which is a really cool and unique touch!
Location-wise, it's excellent for transport and dining. You can easily access the surrounding areas via the Odori Station underground passage, so even in snowy weather, getting around is a breeze.

"The biggest advantage of this hotel is its location. It's very close to Sapporo Station, just a three to five-minute walk, which makes going out for food and shopping incredibly convenient. I guess because of Sapporo's weather, you can access many places underground. Once you get familiar with it, you'll find yourself using the underground passages for all your shopping and dining needs. On the day we left, there was a blizzard, and being so close to Sapporo Station was a huge help; otherwise, we definitely would have missed our flight. The cleanliness was good, and the onsen (hot spring bath) area was also clean. Overall, it was very convenient and comfortable."

"Overall, no major issues, and the service attitude was very polite. Thank you for arranging the room.
However, I'd like to highlight some hygiene concerns:
1. There was a drop of urine stain on the toilet seat. I disinfected it myself with an alcohol wipe.
2. Although the bath towels looked new, I noticed some dust and stains on them.
3. Many hotels have this problem: the headboard is never wiped down. Generally, when guests lie in bed, their oily heads often rest against the headboard, making the contact area quite unhygienic. I also wiped this down myself with an alcohol wipe. You're welcome.
The location is decent, not on the main road so it's relatively quiet. There's an underground passage to Sapporo Station, so if you want to avoid the wind and sun, you might consider a hotel even closer.
The hotel door card is an actual key 🔑. While retro and charming, it can also be a bit inconvenient: you have to hand it in for safekeeping when you leave the hotel and retrieve it again when you return. As an introvert, I'd rather not bother the front desk constantly."

"First of all the hotel size and location is reasonable. onsen is ok, the water can be hotter. It's very popular during evening times. There is only one washing machine so it's difficult to get a slot. Sleepwise is ok, there is a lack of moisturiser in the room. You have to get it at the reception, just saw the info when I was checking out. however at the end of my stay the overall service left a bad taste in my mouth.
I requested for my luggage to be delivered to the next hotel. However upon reaching the next hotel, only one of my luggage reached the location. When I wrote back asking the hotel. They pushed the responsibility back to me asking me to check with the delivery company instead. I am a foreigner in Japan. And being asked to check with a Japanese transport company of my missing luggage sent by the hotel. I can't communicate in Japanese. How am I supposed to talk to the transport company? For a country famed to be highly efficient in their delivery and service, my two luggage to be delivered turn out to only one and the hotel who delivered my luggage is not helping so ridiculous. This is a memorable stay for it in a bad way. I am tempted to leave every thing one star but I am not as unreasonable like this hotel service."

[Renovation Notice] Change and Integration of Some Room Type Names
Thank you very much for choosing Keio Prelia Hotel Sapporo.
We would like to inform you that, effective April 1, 2026, some of our room type names will be changed and integrated as follows.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause to future guests and appreciate your kind understanding and continued patronage.
"We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights, then left our luggage here while we spent a night at a hot spring hotel in Noboribetsu, before returning for another 2 nights.
The front desk staff were extremely thoughtful and helpful in storing our luggage and making all the arrangements smoothly.
We stayed in a triple room, which was said to be the largest available. However, for 3 people, it did feel a little bit small.
Unfortunately, the breakfast restaurant was closed for upgrade for a month, so we only had the chance to enjoy it once. That was a bit of a pity."

FFuleidilaoThe location is great, right next to Tanukikoji, and it's just a few minutes' walk to Don Quijote.
Facilities: There's a hot spring, but I didn't get a chance to use it. There's also a self-service laundry, but it only accepts coins, no electronic payments.
Cleanliness: It was very clean and tidy; I had a comfortable stay.
Service: We arrived at the hotel at 2 PM and were told we could store our luggage first, but check-in wasn't until after 3 PM. We dropped off our bags and went out to explore. We came back after dinner to pick up our room key.

GGuest UserLoved that the hotel allows guests with tattoo to use the onsen though this wasn’t made known explicitly with written signs. Hotel was located at the end of Tanukoji so it’s a distance from the main area although still walkable.
Note that the bathroom doesn’t have a space to put your dry clothes and you will have to wear it outside unless you do not mind the bottom of your pants getting wet. Not very convenient for mix gender groups even though there’s a blind you can draw but still be visible from the mirror reflection. Room was located in the annex building which has alot of stairs so not that convenient for elderlies too. Overall, decent hotel but recommended only if you have no issues walking or are driving.

CCHM@This hotel is truly excellent. Its location is very convenient, just a short walk from the train station. One of the highlights is the complimentary welcome drinks available throughout the day, which adds a nice touch to the overall experience. The breakfast is also incredibly premium, with high-quality options across the board.
Honestly, almost everything about this hotel is great. The only downside is that the room is quite small, making it a bit difficult to fully open a suitcase.
If I have the chance to visit Sapporo again, this hotel will definitely be my first choice.
CChiayeeGreat location convenient to go to Sapporo Station and even walk to Odori, afew convenience stores nearby.
Check in was smooth, staffs were nice and friendly, able to store luggage before check in and after check out.
This room i booked is spacious enough to open up 2 big luggages and still have enough space to walk.
Amenities were great, even have a full skincare set, brand of the skincare and soaps used were DHC, first time use hotel shampoo and conditioner that made my hair so smooth dont even need hair oil 🤣
AAnonymous User*Review: MyStay Sapporo Aspen*
Stayed at MyStay Sapporo Aspen for a group trip with 10 adults, and it was a solid base for exploring Sapporo.
*Location is perfect*
It’s only a 5-minute walk to Sapporo Station, which made everything easy. We could walk to Susukino for dinner, catch the airport train without rushing, and it’s also a short walk to malls and shopping streets. For a group, being central like this saves a lot of time and taxi costs.
*Room setup and space*
We booked 5 rooms – mix of standard double rooms and standard twin rooms. Heads up: the standard double room is on the smaller side, fine for 1-2 people but tight with luggage. The twin room is noticeably larger than the double, so if you have the option, go for twin. Beds were comfortable and clean in both room types.
*Amenities*
One thing I liked was the amenity bar on the ground floor. You can pick up toothbrushes, hair ties, razors, sleep masks, and other toiletries for free. Good range, and it’s convenient if you forgot something or don’t want to pack bulky bottles. Rooms also had everything basic you’d expect – kettle, fridge, wifi worked fine.
*Food and shopping nearby*
There are tons of food options within a few minutes walk. Ramen, izakaya, convenience stores, and cafes everywhere. Plus you’re right next to the mall and shopping areas, so it’s easy to grab last-minute omiyage or do some shopping after dinner.
*Overall*
Great location, practical amenities, and convenient for groups. Just book twin rooms if space matters to you. For the price and location near Sapporo Station, it’s good value for a city stay.
AAnonymous UserI stayed here for an ARASHI concert. When I booked, there weren't many hotels left. This one had a decent location, and at the time, the price was relatively affordable, even though it was still just under 2100 yen for one night.
Facilities: The hotel is 30 years old, but I found the facilities to be perfectly adequate. Plus, there's a nice vanity area outside the bathroom where you can sit and get ready. The room itself was also quite spacious.
Service: The service was very good. When I booked, there were no non-smoking rooms available, but I emailed the hotel, and they said they could prepare the room for me with a smoke-free treatment. Indeed, there was no cigarette smell when I checked in.

Very Good
MMCKohMy stay at Jozankei View Hotel was fantastic. The hotel has a very tranquil atmosphere, perfect for a hot spring resort. The dinner quality was a pleasant surprise; the sashimi and sweet shrimp were incredibly fresh, and the beef was delicious. For breakfast, the seafood donburi was also amazing and very satisfying. The onsen facilities were spacious and comfortable, making for a truly relaxing soak. Overall, the service, food, and environment were excellent. It was a very satisfying hot spring hotel experience and definitely worth recommending.
SsweetknellneuFrom the moment you're greeted, to the front desk, and the overall architecture, everything exudes a sense of grandeur and luxury. It feels very upscale. The facilities are what you'd expect from a well-established star-rated hotel, and the location is absolutely prime, making it convenient to get anywhere. The night view from the upper floors is particularly beautiful. You can pretty much book this place without a second thought. Once again, I applaud my hotel-picking skills!
