"Easy check in and check out, the size of the room is kinda small for the three of us but still very bearable, we need to open our luggage one by one, the bed is sooo good, i sleep easily every single day, we choose the economical package so they don't clean our room every single day but they will change towel and clean the trash if we put it outside the room the next day, the location is excellent is really near nijo market and near sapporo tv tower, also tanukikoji street Overall we are so satisfied Didn't try the breakfast so can't comment of it"

"The hotel is conveniently located just a 5-minute walk from Sapporo Station, which is directly connected to the airport via the JR Airport Express. Don't listen to previous reviews suggesting you head towards Daimaru department store. Instead, follow my photos to easily find the hotel. You won't even need to cross the street. Just locate the Namboku Line subway, then find Exit 9 through the side passages. When I visited in February, there was a Descente store next to the hotel's elevator. The front desk is on the 10th floor. Breakfast was good, and the hot springs were very relaxing. Most importantly, the hotel is new. Our triple room included executive lounge access, offering red and white wine, coffee, and four snacks including Jagabee (Jaga Pokkuru). We had a very comfortable stay. Housekeeping is done by 3 PM at the latest. Hokkaido University is a 20-minute walk, Mitsukoshi is also 20 minutes on foot, and the Factory Outlet is a 15-minute walk. We walked everywhere from the hotel."

So efficient, lovely staffs. There’s a seicomart at every corner same with Lawson and 7/11 convenience store. A nice park to at the back and many local restaurants."

"Dear Sir/Madam, I hope this message finds you well. I would like to share a small concern regarding my experience at the front desk on March 1, in the hope that it may be helpful for your future service considerations. After checking out from another hotel, we planned a 2‑day, 1‑night trip to Otaru and wished to store our luggage at your hotel beforehand. When we arrived, we were assisted by your staff member, Ms. Hayshi(林).When we asked whether it was possible to store our luggage, we were informed that storage was limited to one day only. We then explained that we would be returning quite late the following evening and asked if there might be any flexibility or alternative arrangements. However, the response we received felt a little abrupt, including a surprised “Huh?” that left us unsure how to continue the conversation. This made us feel slightly uncomfortable and misunderstood, though we believe it may simply have been a moment of miscommunication. In addition, from the day we inquired about luggage storage until March 4, we noticed that there were still two pieces of luggage stored in the luggage area for several days. We would appreciate some clarification on why those items were allowed to remain for an extended period, as this left us a bit confused about the policy. At the same time, I would also like to express my sincere appreciation for the warmth and professionalism shown by your Assistant Front Office Manager “Faucett mark “during my check‑in. He welcomed me with genuine kindness, clearly explained the procedures and facilities, and made me feel very well taken care of after a long journey. His patience and attentiveness created a truly positive impression, and I hope the hotel will acknowledge his excellent service. We have always appreciated the thoughtful hospitality that Japanese hotels are known for, which is why we chose to stay with you. With this in mind, we wanted to gently share both our concern and our gratitude, and we would appreciate a brief reply so we can feel more at ease for the rest of our stay. Thank you very much for taking the time to read this message. We wish your team a pleasant and successful day. Best regards, Mandy"

"Since it's an older hotel, the facilities and decor are pretty standard. Because of its prime location in Sapporo, the price is a bit high. Compared to a similarly priced hotel I stayed at in Hakodate, this one felt a bit lacking. Plus, they're promoting eco-friendliness, so they only clean every three days unless you specifically request it. However, this hotel is a common meeting point for many tour groups and buses, making it super convenient if you book one-day round trips online, or have ski or airport transfers. The location is excellent, right in Susukino. My suitcase accidentally got mixed up with another tour group's because it's a meeting point, but the front desk staff were incredibly helpful, contacting their driver to bring it back. So, their service is really top-notch."

"We were a family of 3. Room was spacious enough for our 3 luggages. TV also had information regarding the status of the onsen and washing machine which was a nice touch. The counter staff also spoke good English and were generally very helpful. The free drinks in the lounge and bottled water in the room were very welcome too."

Mitsui Garden Hotel Sapporo is conveniently located a 4-minute walk from Sapporo Station and offers a variety of rooms with free Wi-Fi. A large public bath is available on the second floor. The Former Hokkaido Government Office is a 5-minute walk away, and Hokkaido Jingu is a 10-minute drive from the hotel. Each room is equipped with a smart TV, electric kettle, and charging equipment. An air purifier and nightwear are also provided to ensure a comfortable night’s sleep. The front desk offers luggage storage, and a self-service cloakroom is also available. On the second floor, the utility lounge features coin-operated laundry machines, a microwave, vending machines, and an ice machine. The on-site restaurant serves a Japanese and Western-style breakfast.

"The biggest advantage of this hotel is its location. It's very close to Sapporo Station, just a three to five-minute walk, which makes going out for food and shopping incredibly convenient. I guess because of Sapporo's weather, you can access many places underground. Once you get familiar with it, you'll find yourself using the underground passages for all your shopping and dining needs. On the day we left, there was a blizzard, and being so close to Sapporo Station was a huge help; otherwise, we definitely would have missed our flight. The cleanliness was good, and the onsen (hot spring bath) area was also clean. Overall, it was very convenient and comfortable."

"I stayed at Sapporo Hotel by Grandbell for four nights and had a lovely overall experience. The hotel is quite new, and the view from the room was beautiful, which made the stay even more enjoyable. One of my favorite parts was the onsen — they have several different baths to choose from, and it was a great way to relax after a long day out in the cold. The convenience is also a plus, with both FamilyMart and Lawson located just downstairs. The only downside is that the hotel is not very close to the JR station. It’s still walkable, but can feel a bit far, especially in winter. One night, I had trouble finding the correct exit at the station and ended up walking quite a long distance to get back to the hotel. Overall, I would still recommend this hotel for its comfort, facilities, and relaxing atmosphere — just be prepared for a bit of walking."

"This hotel was so good that now, as I'm blow-drying my hair halfway through in a hotel in Osaka and feeling miserable, I suddenly remembered I hadn't left a review for the Sapporo hotel yet. First, the location. It's really close to Sapporo Station, so dragging luggage across the ice wasn't too much of a hassle. It's convenient for getting everywhere. Hokkaido University is just a 5-minute walk, and Tanukikoji Shopping Street is about fifteen minutes away. There's also Suwa Shrine, famous for its beautiful charms. It made me feel like I was living there. Check-in was smooth. I just showed my passport at the front desk, and it was done quickly. The person who helped me then was a short-haired girl (I forget if she had bangs, but I think so) wearing glasses and speaking Chinese. She was patient and gentle, explaining all the hotel services in detail, like where the public bath was, how to connect to the room's Wi-Fi, etc. Very thoughtful and thorough. Speaking of the room, it was a bit bigger than the triple rooms I've stayed in in Tokyo and Osaka. It was clean, pretty, and most importantly, bright. The TV could cast to devices, and it was easy to use. The bathroom had a separate wet and dry area with 24-hour ventilation, so it was never damp. The bathtub was large and clean, and I soaked in it for two days straight. Writing this makes me even sadder because I'm currently standing with wet hair in the cramped bathroom of my Osaka hotel. I'll be leaving Japan in a few days. Sigh, I really miss Hokkaido. It probably would have been better if I had made Hokkaido the last stop of my Japan trip. Actually, during my days in Hokkaido, I had many regrets. For example, my planned afternoon trip to Tengu Mountain was canceled due to strong winds and cable car suspension. Another time, I went out early, but the blue sky was mostly covered by dark clouds, with only occasional glimpses of sun. And then there were the cold, strong winds. Several times, walking down the street, the wind was so strong I had to duck behind a building while waiting for the traffic light, just to steal a few seconds of warmth. There were also countless moments when I almost slipped. Now, thinking back, I actually feel nostalgic for them. When will I experience those moments again? I can only wish that every winter in my future life includes a few days in Hokkaido. On the day I went to Otaru, the temperature was -0.6 degrees Celsius, so cold! Along the canal, everyone was like they were ice skating. I was wearing snow boots I bought for 127 yuan in Tanukikoji, carefully stepping in the footprints of the person in front of me. The sky was so blue, the water so clear, and the houses on the distant mountains looked like a tiny world. I wondered what kind of life the people living there led. Every step offered a picturesque view. The path along the canal was neither long nor short. Actually, even if I had slipped, it wouldn't have mattered. If it made my impression of Hokkaido more vivid, something I'd remember decades later, or when I'm old, then it would be worth it. The day before I left, I went to Hokkaido Shrine and Maruyama Park. The vast white landscape was so clean, and the bare trees made the snowy scenery even more beautiful. A small stream flowed through the park. Closing my eyes, I could imagine it as a waterfall, its sleep-inducing sound not knowing where it led. Landing in Osaka, the rain was heavy, and I didn't have an umbrella. I got drenched walking across the streets to the hotel. Everything felt so different. It made me think of the tree downstairs at *that* hotel. Day in and day out, it was always there, watching travelers from different countries come and go like Hokkaido's snow, accumulating and melting. Watching them open Google Maps every morning to check their route and return at night with bags of convenience store goodies. A happy tree, witnessing so many happy journeys in Hokkaido that began from that hotel. It's 1:45 AM Japan time now. My hair is almost dry. I'm not very sleepy, but I have to go to bed. Tomorrow I'm off to Kyoto. Usually, I think a lot at night or get anxious about various things, but during my days in Hokkaido, I felt surprisingly good. Even with unfinished plans, my mood wasn't dampened. Perhaps that's what a truly good trip is, haha, a journey for the soul? Anyway, I highly recommend this hotel!"

Great
HHaidawayGood hotel which located near the Sapporo station. I stayed there for 6D5N and it was snowing for a couple of days. So staying near the subway and APIA was important to us. There’s a public Onsen bath and open lounge for guests so it was good. A couple of downside was that there was some smell in the washroom, not sure if from the gutter or bathtub. And another thing was that the bedsheet was a bit uncomfortable compared to other Keio hotel. All in all a decent hotel for any tourists that wanted to stayed in central Sapporo area.

CChouyandoudezhuThis hotel offers great value for solo travelers. The single room I stayed in was quite spacious, and the facilities were well-arranged and practical. They even provide two complimentary bottles of mineral water. The breakfast is a definite highlight – it's incredibly delicious with a wide variety of options. This is my second time staying here, primarily because of how much I love their breakfast! The soundproofing is excellent, making for a very quiet stay. Its proximity to Sapporo Station is a huge plus, making it super convenient for sightseeing, dining, and shopping.

Ttour.worldIf you enjoy having plenty of dining, shopping, and entertainment options nearby every day, this hotel is a great choice. It was just renovated last October, so it's very new, the AC is quiet, and the air quality is good. If you stay on the 10th floor, the view is also quite nice, offering a distant glimpse of the ski slopes on the snow-capped mountains. The breakfast buffet dining area is pleasant, and the menu changes slightly every day. Overall, you can get a good, satisfying meal to fuel your morning shopping and sightseeing. In the evening, you can head to the 10th-floor gym for a workout, then relax at the public bath and spa on the 9th floor. There's an Aeon convenience store on the left side of the new building's first floor, which is very handy for buying food and drinks. If you're heading back to New Chitose Airport, you can take a bus from the nearby Chuo Bus stop, and you can pay the fare directly with a credit card that has PayWave. Overall, this hotel is excellent.

GGuest UserThe location is pretty good. It's about a 10-minute walk from Sapporo Station North Exit, crossing two intersections. The Aspen of the same brand is a bit closer. However, it's very close to Hokkaido University, about a 7-8 minute walk. We booked a deluxe twin room, and the 25 sqm space was excellent for two adults and one child – not at all cramped. Breakfast ends a bit early at 9:30 AM; when we went at 9 AM, the sashimi was already gone. Out of three breakfasts, we only got sweet shrimp once, which was a bit frustrating. The hotel is clean, and housekeeping was very prompt. The front desk can store luggage, and the service overall was good.

AAnonymous User*Review: MyStay Sapporo Aspen* Stayed at MyStay Sapporo Aspen for a group trip with 10 adults, and it was a solid base for exploring Sapporo. *Location is perfect* It’s only a 5-minute walk to Sapporo Station, which made everything easy. We could walk to Susukino for dinner, catch the airport train without rushing, and it’s also a short walk to malls and shopping streets. For a group, being central like this saves a lot of time and taxi costs. *Room setup and space* We booked 5 rooms – mix of standard double rooms and standard twin rooms. Heads up: the standard double room is on the smaller side, fine for 1-2 people but tight with luggage. The twin room is noticeably larger than the double, so if you have the option, go for twin. Beds were comfortable and clean in both room types. *Amenities* One thing I liked was the amenity bar on the ground floor. You can pick up toothbrushes, hair ties, razors, sleep masks, and other toiletries for free. Good range, and it’s convenient if you forgot something or don’t want to pack bulky bottles. Rooms also had everything basic you’d expect – kettle, fridge, wifi worked fine. *Food and shopping nearby* There are tons of food options within a few minutes walk. Ramen, izakaya, convenience stores, and cafes everywhere. Plus you’re right next to the mall and shopping areas, so it’s easy to grab last-minute omiyage or do some shopping after dinner. *Overall* Great location, practical amenities, and convenient for groups. Just book twin rooms if space matters to you. For the price and location near Sapporo Station, it’s good value for a city stay.

AAnonymous UserI stayed here for an ARASHI concert. When I booked, there weren't many hotels left. This one had a decent location, and at the time, the price was relatively affordable, even though it was still just under 2100 yen for one night. Facilities: The hotel is 30 years old, but I found the facilities to be perfectly adequate. Plus, there's a nice vanity area outside the bathroom where you can sit and get ready. The room itself was also quite spacious. Service: The service was very good. When I booked, there were no non-smoking rooms available, but I emailed the hotel, and they said they could prepare the room for me with a smoke-free treatment. Indeed, there was no cigarette smell when I checked in.

GGuest UserIt was pretty good. The view from the 24th floor was excellent, and the public bath was larger than the Dormy Inn I stayed at before. The triple room was also very nice. Although the 0.9-meter-wide bed was a bit narrow for my 14-year-old, he didn't mind, and I prefer us all sleeping together, as it helps us bond more with him. The only hassle was the air conditioning was too hot; I suggest they not turn it off completely but instead set it to the lowest temperature of 18 degrees.

MMCKohMy stay at Jozankei View Hotel was fantastic. The hotel has a very tranquil atmosphere, perfect for a hot spring resort. The dinner quality was a pleasant surprise; the sashimi and sweet shrimp were incredibly fresh, and the beef was delicious. For breakfast, the seafood donburi was also amazing and very satisfying. The onsen facilities were spacious and comfortable, making for a truly relaxing soak. Overall, the service, food, and environment were excellent. It was a very satisfying hot spring hotel experience and definitely worth recommending.

SsweetknellneuFrom the moment you're greeted, to the front desk, and the overall architecture, everything exudes a sense of grandeur and luxury. It feels very upscale. The facilities are what you'd expect from a well-established star-rated hotel, and the location is absolutely prime, making it convenient to get anywhere. The night view from the upper floors is particularly beautiful. You can pretty much book this place without a second thought. Once again, I applaud my hotel-picking skills!
