"Had a great stay! Our room faced the ocean, with Bikini Beach right below – the photo was taken from our balcony at dusk. Compared to overwater bungalows on resort islands, the beachfront rooms here offer much better value for money. I'd recommend staying in a Kaani seaview room on a local island for your stay. They arranged our excursions perfectly, all departing from the local island. For the resort island part of our trip, we just wanted to relax in an overwater villa with a private pool. The service at Kaani was excellent, though it's a shame they don't have Chinese-speaking staff; communicating via WeChat was still fine. I'm a picky eater, but the breakfast selection was abundant. I didn't get used to the other food, but I was surprised to find Chinese self-heating hotpots on the island and bought a bunch! After staying on a resort island, I really feel Kaani offers incredible value for money."

"One of the best hotels on Maafushi Island. The hotel arranges airport transfers from Velana International Airport, complete with full assistance – luggage handling and refreshing drinks. They are accommodating with early check-ins without extra charges. The hotel has its own Bikini Beach, which is cleaned daily. A wonderful breakfast is included, depending on your booking rate."

"Amazing Stay at Arena Beach Hotel Beautiful beach vibes with a clean, hotel-allocated beach front long beach with refreshing dring service. and an infinity pool with stunning sunset views. Rooms are clean with sea view, with basic amenities with daily water, tea/ coffee, and towels are provided.Special thanks to Abishek from HK he was very attentive he acknowledges my request and resolved very quickly as my bathroom faucet was leaking. Food & Drinks: Wide buffet & à la carte options at affordable prices, with non-alcoholic beverages. Dinner with live music made evenings extra special. Sisha option was also a alternative choice as island not serving alcohol. Breakfast buffet was good healthy choice with friendly service staff specially Hasan ali (friendly and professional man) Abash attentive and prompt service.Hasim/mahmood and one indian lady from Lucknow( good recommendation and suggestive selling) Nightlife & Activities: Relaxing and charming nightlife. Night vibes was really amazing dining ambience is same as five star resort level. Water sports like stingrays and sharks snorkelling and Sandbank full days tours were unforgettable. Reservations cheking and checkout processes was little tired For guests on long journeys who arrive early at the airport (e.g., 9:00 AM) but have transfers to the island only at 13:00, consider providing alternative options such as a comfortable lounge, refreshments, or earlier boat transfers. Waiting 4+ hours after a long 9-hour flight can be tiring, so small adjustments would greatly improve guest experience. "Before leaving China, we contacted the manager of the hotel. He arranged for staff to pick us up at the airport and helped us buy speedboat tickets for 20 US dollars each. At the dock, the staff used a cart to carry all our luggage to the room upstairs. The service was thoughtful and enthusiastic. The room was large, the supplies were very new, and the living was very comfortable. There were 4 kinds of breakfast every morning, you could choose one or combine two breakfasts. The service staff was very responsive and enthusiastic. We were worried that there would not be enough water on the island and we needed to buy mineral water with US dollars, but the hotel provided unlimited drinking water. We were worried that there might be a lot of mosquitoes on the island. We communicated with the manager before checking in and asked him to spray insecticide in advance. There were no mosquitoes in the room. But be careful to turn off the bathroom light when you go to sleep, otherwise the mosquitoes outside will enter from the entrance of the bathroom. We chose to eat breakfast in the room, which avoided mosquitoes outside. There is a clothes drying rack outside the room. The roof is made of wood and is very unique. It rained every night and was sunny during the days we were here. The room is surrounded by residents and is very quiet, unlike the popular hotels that play rock music all day long. It is 10 minutes away from the beach and 10 minutes away from the pier. Overall, I am very satisfied. The owner is very enthusiastic and often chats with us to help us solve temporary difficulties."

"Immediately about the minus. The refrigerator didn't work, although it can be seen as new. It was offered to use the refrigerator at the bottom of the hotel. The hotel provides lying on request, in fact there are unpleasant nuances, on the beach you either don 't find or provide others for which local traders ask you to buy a cocktail. There is a TV in the room, but there is nothing to watch it, just a couple of local channels. TV is not smart that is strange for a 21-year hotel. The rest is fine! The staff is very trying. Everything is new around. Maafushi itself is not the best option to spend a full holiday on it. But it will be perfectly suited as a transit point between the islands or if it is necessary to wait for something in this country budgetally."
