River Haven is a two bedroom, two bath cabin located directly on the Nottely River in Murphy North Carolina. From the screened in porch you look out over the clear flowing river. The riverside patio is a great place to enjoy the firepit when not fishing, tubing, kayaking, hiking, or exploring Murphy and the amazing river walk. Nottely River Winery is only about 6 miles away, and it's beautiful. And lets not forget the Harrah's Cherokee Valley River Casino just 12 miles away. So you can relax at the cabin and do nothing at all, or do as much as you can if relaxing is not the only thing on the agenda. The Ranger Community Center has a kayak/canoe launch so from there a really nice float down to our place. When the water is low, about a 1.5 hour float, to as fast as 30 minutes if the water is flowing strong. Fishing from our bank is fun, and wade fishing even more so. We are at the end of the road so very peaceful and quiet.
