Welcome to our camp perched on the shores of 1st Connecticut Lake. Inside has been nicely updated for comfort and amenity while keeping to the original charm and nostalgia of when it was built in the 50's. Walk in to a large landing area and drop all your bags to take in the beautiful views of the lake and mountains. The open concept great room and dining area allows for the entire group to gather and make lifelong Pittsburg memories. The kitchen is a step back in time with original pink Formica countertops, a wall mounted can opener and every kitchen gadget your grandmother most likely ordered from a Fingerhut catalog. We love it this way and hope you do too. There's no dishwasher except for whomever draws the short straw after meals are done. The loons will sing you to sleep in the three bedrooms that sleep 6 comfortably. We've updated all the mattresses and bedding for added comfort and coziness. Walk out onto the expansive deck off the kitchen to grill, watch the sunset and stargaze at night in front of a propane firepit. Walk down to the beach for a day in the lake to kayak, skip rocks, fish, swim or float. In the winter ice fish, downhill tube or take your snow machines out for a day's run. We have kayaks, a SUP, tubes and a canoe for your lake enjoyment. At this moment we do not have a dock, this is on the project list. The Bowman Inn is located in the Town of Randolph, NH surrounded by the White Mountain National Forest and Randolph Community Forest with incredible views of Mt Jefferson, Mt Adams and Mt. There is also a 2nd building on the property called the Carriage House, that is 2,300 sf +/-, which has 3 additional ground floor accessible bedrooms (1 King, 2 Queen) each with its own bathroom and 1 bedroom studio apartment on the second floor with a King Bed. The Carriage House combined with the 8 bedrooms in the Main House for a total of 12 bedrooms/13.5 Bathrooms and up to 30 total GuestsThe common rooms are great for big groups to get together in the large living room with wet bar, player piano, stereo, and big TV, or sun room with stunning views and the formal dining room that seats 20+. The spacious kitchen has been recently updated and has 2 sinks, 2 dishwashers, 2 Refrigerators, double wall ovens, convection/microwave oven and a large 5 burner stove. There is lots of room to store your winter/summer gear in a huge closet right by the rear entry to the house, great for ski and hiking boots.Outside, there is a heated inground pool from mid May thru September and a brand new hot tub installed in September of 2025 and in the pool area there is a wet bar in the pool house and a separate full bathroom for the pool area, a large outside dining area with grill, firepit, and outdoor play area with corn hole, swings for little ones. You can hike the white mountains and bike the presidential rail trail, a 20+ mile long bike trail directly from the property without getting in a car! The property has been updated and is the perfect place for a family reunion, small wedding, yoga retreat, corporate function, or gathering of friends for hiking, biking, skiing, snow mobiles and much more. The Main House has lots of books, toys and games to play while you are there for the big and little kids.
