"This year, my mother and I stayed at Xilai when we visited Putuo. Actually, I didn't book this place initially. When I called the first hotel, the front desk staff was quite dismissive and uninterested. But when I called Xilai, they were very enthusiastic, so I decisively booked it. Upon arriving at the hotel, Manager Bobo warmly greeted us and even accompanied me to register for the morning chanting. He was very patient. I'll definitely book Xilai again next time. Plus, it's really convenient, right next to Puji Temple."

"Overall, my stay this time was excellent, even better than last year. The room was spacious, and the crib I requested was placed right in the middle, perfectly protecting my child from falling out of bed at night. It gave me great peace of mind traveling with a baby. The hotel's service was also very responsive; any requests were handled promptly. A special shout-out to a male staff member at the front desk, wearing glasses – I believe he's a manager. He was friendly, professional, and easy to communicate with. I do have a few minor suggestions: First, it would be better if there were separate counters for group check-ins and individual guests, as it would improve order. The young lady who checked me in spoke quite softly, making it a bit hard to hear, which was slightly irritating at the time. Second, the laundry room only has two washer-dryer sets, which is too few, and they aren't very powerful. Also, this time I was assigned a corner room. I thought being away from the elevator would make it quieter, but the sound of the elevator running at night was quite noticeable and noisy. By the way, I suggest posting information about the free parking vouchers in the restaurant as well. Since the vouchers change daily, the path from the room to the front desk to the parking garage is quite long (and the elevators are slow). Overall, I'm still very satisfied. It's a top choice for families with children, and I'll definitely consider staying here again when I come to Zhoushan."

"Had a fantastic trip! The hotel is super close to the pier, just a 5-minute walk to the ticket booth, which was really convenient. The room was clean, tidy, and spacious, and the service was thoughtful and warm. Plus, there's free 24-hour parking right outside, which was perfect for our road trip. It's also only a 10-minute drive to Guanyin Fashi. 2. **Parking:** Super convenient! They have parking both in the courtyard and underground, plus electric vehicle charging stations, which is a huge bonus. 3. **Dining:** There are plenty of lively seafood restaurants nearby, perfect for dinner. 4. **Room Upgrade:** Since it wasn't peak season, the front desk staff upgraded our room for free. I was very satisfied with the cleanliness, furniture, and bathroom. 5. **Breakfast:** Good breakfast with a nice variety of fresh ingredients. 6. **Amenities:** Free washing machines and dryers are available, which is incredibly helpful, especially during the rainy season! Overall, it was a very satisfying stay – highly recommended!"

"Whenever I visit Mount Putuo, this hotel is always my top choice. Its location is superb, being very close to Puji Temple, Baibu Beach, and various restaurants. This year, I was pleasantly surprised to find that they now offer shuttle services – definitely a big plus! The hotel's courtyard scenery and the民國 (Republic of China) era old houses are full of charm. The hotel service is also fantastic. The young male staff diligently helped us carry luggage up and down the stairs. I also saw the short-haired housekeeping manager actively assisting guests with mobility issues, which was quite touching."

"The location here is super convenient, just 300 meters from the pier, and there are seafood restaurants right downstairs. The views are also great. The bedding was comfortable, and I had a wonderful night's sleep. There was some noise from the room equipment, but the hotel upgraded me to a sea view room, and the service was impeccable. "Traveling to Zhoushan in late March or early April during the rainy season is actually a great time to experience the charming 'misty江南' (Jiangnan region) vibe of the island. Although you can't sunbathe, the cloud-shrouded sea views have their own unique charm. What a coincidence, Huan Xiaopeng perfectly met our needs: comfortable accommodation, close proximity to the pier for activities, and a wide selection of nearby dining options. The front desk staff were incredibly warm and welcoming, making us feel right at home."

"Trip.com Seeing that it is a newly renovated hotel, there is no taste very good. It takes only ten minutes to drive to the night stalls of Shenjiamen Fishing Port. It is very convenient to eat seafood. The chrysanthemum red date tea in the lobby is very good. The weather has turned a bit cold these two days. It is very comfortable to have a cup of warm. The front desk staff service is very good"

"Overall, I'm satisfied. The hygiene, facilities, and service are pretty much on par with a regular hotel, so you don't really need to bring extra toiletries. The room facilities are quite new, and the hairdryer is decent, which is a plus. There's a small outdoor pool that the kids enjoyed. Having a washer and dryer was also very convenient. There are a few minor things that could be improved: 1. The front desk service could be better. You can tell many of the young staff members are inexperienced, but they generally respond to requests. 2. Because of the lush greenery, small bugs like spiders, beetles, and mosquitoes can get in even with the doors and windows closed. They could definitely improve their pest control. 3. The TV is pretty useless. You have to pay to watch TV channels, which is very annoying. It's worse than a standard TV. We booked two king-size rooms. Because it's a villa, the rooms were on opposite sides of the second floor of the building. Since the room types were different, they couldn't be arranged next to each other. After discussing it, one room was changed to the first floor on the same side, which I think is a bit inconvenient for families or friends traveling together. Also, because it's a converted villa, there's no elevator. You have to carry your luggage from the -2 parking level up to the first and second floors. However, you can contact the butler in advance, and they will help you with your luggage."

"My trip to Mount Putuo in 2026 has come to a perfect end today. I still chose Baotuo Xingshe this time, mainly because of its good value for money, its proximity to Puji Temple, and the fact that the island's popular restaurant, Yuanzhi Yuanwei, is right outside. I especially want to commend their room attendant, Xu Yulan, who was incredibly welcoming and made us feel right at home."
