"It's in downtown, but there's practically nothing around. The Starbucks on the first floor of the hotel opens at 6:30am. There was hair left in the room and it felt a bit unsanitary."

"From the moment we got there, even before the reception desk. We were greeted buy a pleasant man in phister attire! He asked if we needed a cart for out luggage! We said yes please , and it was done. Luggage was loaded on a carrier . We than proceed to the desk .where we were greeted enthusiastically! Which put a smile on our faces than a gentleman stepped out from behind the desk and asked what are visit was for and asked if we wanted a glass of champagne! We looked at each other and another smile and said yes please. THEN WE FOLLOWED THE MAN WITH THE LUGGAGE HE TOOK US ON SHORT A TOUR OF THE HOTEL! TRULY ENJOYABLE!The best greeting at a hotel ever! THANK YOU! FOR ANOTHER WONDERFUL NIGHT AT THE PHISTER HOTEL MILWAUKEE!"

"Location, value, and facilities were great, but sadly things went a little downhill after check in. Check in process was smooth and the room was clean and welcoming. However, the next day when I was back in the afternoon, the maid would prop open the rooms with was working on with the deadbolt blocking the doors from closing. She would prop the doors open even if she was at the other end of the hall. This causes the door to the room next to mine to swing and bang loudly. Constantly, which was rough as I was on a zoom call in the morning and trying to rest afterward because my evening event. Then, at the morning of check out, I went to my car to put my bags away before checking out and the shuttle driver almost hit me as I was walking to the lobby because he was going very fast and was trying to swing into a parking spot in front of the lobby doors. He yelled at me from where was sitting and was gesturing wildly with his hands, I wasn't sure but I thought he gave me the finger. Finally, the woman at check out was very terse and rude as I tried to ask questions because I had an additional charge on my account--which she said was the hold for the days stayed, but I was charged 3 times for a 2 day stay. It wasn't until I called later in the evening (as she did not seem to have the patience to answer my questions) that I found out that they erroneously charged my card for another room (the invoice even says ”wrong card”). Everything was great until the second day. I would probably stay again for the convenience and value, but try to limit my interactions to with the staff at a minimum. "

"This is a wonderful National Historic Trust Hotel that has been restored to its original beauty and history. There are several dining options from a very expensive top restaurant in the City to reasonably priced Pubs for a downtown location. Its easy to walk, take the bus, or ride the free trolly just a couple blocks away."

"My boyfriend and I stayed here for summerfest and it was only 1 night but we still enjoyed ourselves in the establishment. I liked that they had a shuttle bus that took us to summerfest and picked us up from there after it was over. The only thing that annoyed us was that the fire detector had low battery so it would beep periodically and it’s a little loud since it’s in a little hotel room."

"Great experience ! Front desk staff was welcoming, room was very clean and interior was beautiful. Only stayed there one night for a concert but I would love to return to this hotel. One weird thing: the tv remotes might have been connected/interfering with other rooms? In the middle of the night it seemed as if someone else was controlling the volume and it was hard to adjust besides turning the TV off manually."

"When we travel to Milwaukee to see family, we always stay at the Kempton Journeyman Hotel. It is located in the revitalized 3rd ward, stylish and comfortable. Love the rooftop bar!"

"The design of the hotel is very distinctive and the rooms are spacious and comfortable. The front desk service is warm and professional, and the check-in efficiency is high. The traffic is also convenient and the surrounding environment is safe. The overall experience is very good and worth recommending."

"King bed room. The room is much smaller than the Hilton City Center in the next few days. The facilities in public places are also lower. Fortunately, there are some business trips."

"房間很大，但是沒有電梯，衹有一間房在一樓剩下的都在二樓。有公共廚房收拾的很乾凈，樓下就有一個餐廳下雨的時候都不用出去吃。"
