"The first time I stayed at The Capital Mbombela., there are welcome water and cold bottles and cans of sports drinks at the entrance of the lobby. The reception staff at the counter are very kind and courteous. The hotel can reach the opposite Ilanga mall. within two minutes walk."

"Я влюбилась в это место! Здесь работают абсолютно замечательные люди. Чувствуется, что здесь ты — желанный гость. Дизайн домика выше всяких похвал — резная кровать, соломенная крыша, в целом весь комплекс очень органичный. Сюда приходили антилопы, бородавочники, а на ужине галаго кормят бананом. В лодже с 6 до 8 вечера есть возможность поужинать за 495 ZAR. В ужин включены: закуска, горячее и десерт. Очень вкусно и сытно. Вообще, изначально, меня привлекла локация, лодж находится в непосредственной близости от магазина Spar и ресторанчика. Идти около 10 минут по тропинке. Как и писали многие, дорога до лоджа после съезда с основной дороги не самая комфортная для маленьких машин. Пришлось ехать очень внимательно и аккуратно, но обошлось без повреждений. Спасибо всем сотрудникам, вы сделали наше проживание незабываемым. Это было наше первое в жизни сафари, и было очень ценно начать знакомство с животным миром Африки в такой чудесной атмосфере."

"What a spectacular place!!! Visited with my friend for a few days. It was her first time in South Africa. Experience left such a beautiful impression of our beautiful country and its people❤️❤️❤️ The place and staff were AMAZING!!! So friendly, helpful, cheerful - always a pleasure to be around. The food and drinks provided were delicious and spectacular. Our room was always clean, made up and fully stocked with drinks and snacks. The game drives were informative and spectacular - phenomenal drivers. Transportation from and to the airport was timely and fantastic! Definitely recommend staying here!!! "We visited Sabi River Sun in December 2020, having visited this resort last in 2008! We should never have stayed away for so long, considering this resort is still as lovely as it was back then! On both occasions we stayed in the hotel, as opposed to the self-catering chalets. Check-in was a pleasant, efficient process, with us having made full payment during the booking process online. This naturally sped up the check-in. There are a few Covid-19 related checks that take place, which is now normal for all hospitality establishments. Our room overlooked the kiddies playarea, with a view of the pool area too. The room (#220) was comfortable, but it does appear dated, in need of a slight refurb. We spent more time than we would normally in the room due to the rainy weather during our stay. Breakfast and dinner was equally excellent. We engaged with the chefs on duty at both sessions daily due to our Halaal requirements, which the chefs were aware of, and met! We were most impressed by this!!! Just a note - on our check-out, when settling the dinners for our daughter (dinners are included for adults), we noticed that someone else's receipt was also included in our bill. Upon querying this, we were presented with the receipts and highlighted the 1 that was not ours. I guess this can happen when the writing (room number, etc) is illegible. Not a trainsmash though! During the stay, we met with Malcolm (GM) and his team. This was excellent as we managed to engage on our visit experience, etc. All in all, a wonderful stay! We most certainly intend returning, hopefully, it does not take another 12 years :-)"

"Lodge is located in Marlot Park, so without visiting animals you will not stay, we came to us various antilops, zebras, bearded, near saw giraffes and males, it is very cool! We had a two-room lodge in the style of the loft all new and beautiful. The only thing to bear in mind is that food needs to be brought with you, there is nothing in the boat and the staff are very badly speaking and understanding in English. We were without a car and we were very helpful by the manager who took us to the nearest Spara on the Marlot Park territory, for which she was separate thank you. The walk was about an hour in one direction. We were two days considered quite enough for this location. It is necessary to visit."
