"The hotel environment is nice; the lobby is on the 23rd floor above the banquet hall in Baoding. The breakfast is good, with a good variety of Chinese and Western options. There's a large parking lot with free parking for guests. However, what bothered me most was that we received a call from the hotel front desk while driving on the highway, asking if we had taken the hotel's shoe brush. We were completely confused; we didn't even know what a shoe brush looked like or where it was, and we hadn't seen it in our room. We often stay in high-end hotels when we travel, and we try to avoid using hotel amenities, including towels, bath towels, and slippers, as we're concerned about proper disinfection. Furthermore, one pair of disposable slippers was unused and left untouched. We certainly wouldn't have taken the shoe brush, given that everyone uses it. The hotel front desk calling us felt like an insult. We hope the hotel management will thoroughly investigate this matter. The hotel itself is nice, but it left a very bad impression on us."
