"This hotel is considered a landmark in Tiantai County. It's located right by Shifeng Lake and is the tallest building in the county, easily visible from a distance. When checking in, the front desk staff were incredibly warm and welcoming, and even proactively upgraded us to a lake-view suite. The room was very spacious, with floor-toceiling windows directly overlooking Shifeng Lake, offering a fantastic and open view. Waking up the next morning and drawing the curtains to see the morning glow reflecting on the lake was truly a healing experience. The room itself was clean and comfortable, the bedding was very pleasant to sleep on, and the staff were consistently polite. Overall, it was a good stay. The only thing I think could be improved is the air conditioning. Because the suite was quite large, it took a while to cool down. Also, there was no key card slot for power, so the AC would turn off automatically when we left the room. Every time we returned, we had to wait for it to cool down again, which made it a bit stuffy in the summer. Overall, the facilities, views, and service were all excellent. If you're visiting Tiantai for tourism or business, this hotel is definitely highly recommended."

The Tiantai He Hotel is an ideal spot for travelers wanting to discover the city. The Tiantai He Hotel offers a pleasant stay in Tiantai County for those traveling for business or leisure. With Tiantaishan Railway Station just 8km away and Taizhou Luqiao Airport only 77km away, transportation is very convenient. This hotel is located near many of Tiantai County's attractions including Sui Dynasty Ancient Temple, Former Residence of Jigong and Guoqing Scenic Area. When guests have some time on their hands they can make use of the onsite facilities. This Tiantai County hotel features parking on site. According to our guests, this hotel provides a very high level of service. For guests traveling with families, this hotel is consistently one of the most popular choices.

"The location is good, close to the parking lot of Tiantai Mountain Visitor Center, and it is not far to walk to Guoqing Temple. There are parking spaces at the entrance of the hotel. The internal environment is also good, but the details need to be improved. There is a door in the room that looks like a cabinet. When you open it, there is a wood board with a few holes. If you don't make a cabinet, at least it should be sealed. The hotel has its own catering. I had two dinners. The tofu made by the hotel itself is delicious. I recommend it. The other dishes are just average, but the price of the food is not expensive for a hotel of this level. The service needs to be improved. The front desk is quite polite, and there are souvenirs when you leave. However, I wanted two bottles of water on the first night. The room phone called the front desk but no one answered. I called the front desk phone given by Ctrip on my mobile phone to get through. We stayed for two consecutive days, but the slippers and other supplies were not replaced on the second day, so we could only use the ones on the first day. This is a bit unexpected. I have stayed in so many hotels and homestays, but this is the first time I have encountered this."

"The location is great, right next to the entrance of Guoqing Temple scenic area. However, for the price, the cleanliness, service, and facilities were all very subpar! First, let's talk about cleanliness. I was too lazy to take photos, but the shower room and toilet shared a single sliding door, and both bottom corners of the door were covered in water stains. Regarding service, we booked a family room, but there were no children's toiletries. I asked the front desk for them, and an hour later, they still hadn't arrived! After I called again, about half an hour later, a staff member came and said they didn't have children's toiletries, only children's slippers. Next, parking. During check-in, we were asked to add them on WeChat and provide our license plate number. After we did, there was no response, and we couldn't get out the next day. When I called the front desk to ask, they again told me to add them on WeChat... Speechless. Finally, breakfast. It was advertised until 10 AM, but by 9 AM, there was barely anything left, not even hard-boiled eggs! The watermelon juice was almost empty, and a staff member poured the last cup and asked us if we wanted it! This is truly the first time I've ever seen anything like this!!!"

Our guests consider this hotel to have excellent service. This hotel is a popular accommodation for guests traveling with families.

"Tiantai Hot Spring Villa's location is a huge plus – it's really close to Guoqing Temple, so you can easily grab a taxi there in the morning, explore, and then enjoy a leisurely walk back by lunchtime. The rooms are spacious and clean, making for a comfortable stay. I specifically avoided the May Day rush, so the hot spring wasn't crowded in the evening, the pools were peaceful, and the service was warm and attentive. The breakfast spread was extensive, and you even get to try some local Tiantai specialties. If you're looking for a quiet spot to combine spiritual reflection with hot springs, this place is perfect."

"After a 3-night stay, here are my honest impressions of this hilltop resort (both good and bad). First, the good: The public area design and maintenance are excellent, showing considerable thought and effort. The hilltop location offers expansive views, including a sea of clouds on rainy days, a definite plus. The rooms are spacious and well-designed. The breakfast set menu is varied, and the butler is responsive to minor requests. However, considering the current average price of 3,000+ RMB on weekdays and 3,500+ RMB on holidays, this 4-day, 3-night stay revealed some shortcomings in details and service. Here are a few issues that significantly impacted the experience: 1. Inadequate maintenance for a new hotel: Upon check-in, I found the terrace sliding door was broken and couldn't be locked, and the screens were noticeably dusty. This was unexpected for a newly opened hotel. 2. Limited restaurant options and insufficient staff training: Dining on the hill is largely dependent on the hotel, but the restaurant menu only offers about ten dishes, limiting choices. When inquiring about dishes, the staff clearly lacked knowledge of the ingredients and cooking methods and couldn't provide explanations, indicating a need for improved training. (Lunch set menus can be booked one day in advance, but options remain limited for guests staying multiple nights.) 3. Significant conflict between public areas and guest privacy: The restaurant and café are open to the public, allowing non-guests free access to the hotel's largest lawn and pool area. During my stay, which coincided with the Dragon Boat Festival holiday, some non-guests entered the pool and café areas, further encroaching on guests' pool access and privacy. Smoking by the pool was also unattended by staff. Crucially, the lawn offers direct views into the rooms of Building 2, offering virtually no privacy. 4. Missing evening dessert exposes internal communication problems: The evening dessert recommended by the butler on the first night was not delivered. After communication the following day, it was acknowledged as an internal communication error. While a dessert was provided as compensation, such an oversight, occurring with low occupancy, indicates a need for improved management coordination. 5. Lack of standardized and procedural room cleaning: During my three-night extension, room cleaning was not proactively performed on the second and third nights. The next day, upon returning to the room after checking out, I found it hadn't been cleaned. Although someone came after I contacted them, they only changed the garbage bags and towels; the sink, shower, and sofa area remained uncleaned. They only cleaned after further communication. On the third day, I left at 6 AM and returned at 11 AM to find it still hadn't been cleaned, so I had to contact the housekeeper again. The cleaning staff seemed to lack standard operating procedures and hadn't explained the cleaning arrangements for extended stays beforehand. 6. Two Power Outages and Inadequate Emergency Response: On the afternoon of the second day, while I was having coffee in the restaurant, a sudden power outage occurred, lasting about an hour. I later learned that the hotel had received a notification of maintenance work on the high-voltage transformer at the foot of the mountain but failed to inform guests in advance or prepare any contingency plans (the temperature that day was over 30°C). On the afternoon of the third day, there was another short power outage. Only after I expressed my dissatisfaction did the hotel offer to waive one dinner as compensation in the evening; the overall response was rather passive. 7. Chaotic Breakfast Service: On the fourth day (checkout day), the breakfast service was disorganized; the staff couldn't remember which items in the set menu had been served and which had been missed. 8. Inadequate Pest Control and Ecological Environment Management. While the good ecology of the mountain is understandable, the fact that cleaning staff caught a snake near Building 2 on the afternoon of the third day is a serious safety concern for guests. In summary: The facilities and location are excellent, and it's understandable that some guests are paying for the location and scenery. However, the service and operations clearly don't live up to the standards expected at this price point. We encountered various issues almost every day of the four days, with deficiencies in basic aspects such as cleaning, catering, emergency response, and privacy protection. If this is positioned as a 3k+ level resort product, these shortcomings need to be addressed as soon as possible."

At the end of a busy day, travelers can unwind and relax in the hotel or go out and enjoy the city. Guests of this Tiantai County hotel can make use of the parking facilities. Our guests rate this hotel as one of the best hotels for cleanliness. For guests traveling with families, this hotel is consistently one of the most popular choices.

"Travel: I'd advise new drivers or those who only drive in the city to skip self-driving, especially if you're checking in late. The 20km mountain road requires some skill. View: Excellent. Food: A weakness, it was awful, both breakfast and dinner! Service: Heartfelt but lacking in skill. Food suggestion: Go to the local farm-to-table restaurant by the gas station behind the mountain. Service: Seriously, the mini-bar is free, so why are they so stingy with refilling the drinks every day? Room: The mattress and pillows were uncomfortable. I have to wonder, do the Japanese not bother with QA training for their staff anymore? Chatting loudly among themselves in front of guests – honestly, they should check the surveillance footage. The professionalism is just unbelievable."
