"The room was spacious, comfortable, and not damp. The bedding was also quite cozy. However, it suffers from a common hotel issue: poor soundproofing. Especially since there's a high-speed rail line right behind the hotel, and we were in the last row of rooms. When the high-speed train passed by, the noise was quite significant, though the hotel did provide earplugs. There aren't many amenities around the hotel, and it's a bit far from the beach, requiring a bike or car to get there. The surf pool was great, and the coaches were patient. The price was reasonable, and it felt very safe for beginners. I'd recommend trying it multiple times."

"To all you lovely people heading to Shenzhou Peninsula, you absolutely must choose the Grand Hyatt! Before I came, I read countless posts comparing the Grand Hyatt with Le Méridien, Sheraton, Westin, and so on. Having experienced it firsthand, I can confidently say the Grand Hyatt is truly excellent! First off, the hotel facilities are very new. The moment you enter the lobby, you're greeted by air conditioning (you absolutely *must* try the egg waffles in the lobby!). We arrived around 1 PM, and our room was already ready. They even gave us a super cute woven bag (a thoughtful touch that I used throughout our trip). I highly recommend the 'Garden View Family Room' for families with two adults and two children. It offers suite-like amenities at a guest room price (though without club lounge access). The room even comes with a washing machine (for parents with kids who swim multiple times a day, you can imagine how amazing that is!). The overall layout of the hotel is very similar to the Mandarin Oriental Sanya, with individual villas connected. Getting around relies entirely on electric buggies. Before we came, I saw many online posts complaining about long waits for buggies, but we didn't experience that at all! Each driver has a walkie-talkie, constantly communicating to precisely pick up every guest. Even late at night, you can see many buggies shuttling around; the whole fleet operates very efficiently. (When checking out, the buggy driver even offered to take my room card and help me check out, then drive me directly to the parking lot. OMG, I was shocked by the efficiency!) So, if you're concerned about transportation, you can rest assured! Next, I want to highly praise the hotel's various parent-child activities. Firstly, they have a dedicated mini-program where you can reserve activities in advance using your room or booking number, which is a huge plus. If an activity is fully booked, you can call reservations to be put on a waiting list. For instance, a cocktail activity we originally couldn't book later got a spot when the hotel called us. Secondly, the hotel truly understands families. Most activities are around 10-15 minutes long, ensuring neither kids nor parents get tired. You can even mix and match activities. For example, my wife went for cocktails, then came back to the kids' club to watch the kids, allowing me to go paddleboarding. We only stayed one night but enjoyed two full days of activities (their heated pool is perfect for 6-8 year olds, about one meter deep, allowing both kids to play independently. This depth is rare but excellent, and our kids had a blast!). We played until past 9 PM before reluctantly heading to our next hotel. Then, I must commend the hotel's breakfast. It's truly thoughtful and elaborate, from the quality of ingredients (I was surprised to see caviar on the Eggs Benedict!) to the variety of choices (three types of milk, including Vitasoy!) and local specialties. I was so engrossed in the肠粉 (rice noodle rolls) that I had three plates and couldn't fit in any other exquisite dishes! The view next to the restaurant is beautiful, with clear water where you can see various fish. Perhaps they could even develop a snorkeling activity right at the hotel. Also, the hotel is just across the road from the commercial street, where you'll find Diandian Coconut Chicken and Taiqiong Zao Po Cu, as well as various concept stores – very convenient for some cool browsing. In short, this visit to the Grand Hyatt far exceeded my expectations. I believe it's no less impressive than the family-friendly hotels in Sanya. Everyone should give it a try! Finally, I have two suggestions. First, it would be great if the sofa bed in this room type could be upgraded; all the dads in families would thank you. Second, the front desk service could be a bit more enthusiastic, especially the young ladies. As we were leaving, I saw a guest having an intense discussion with the front desk staff, almost in tears, and the young ladies seemed a bit cold."

"Traveling with kids, the hotel's overall environment is quite good and has a resort-like feel. The rooms are spacious, and for the same price, staying at a hotel feels more reliable than a homestay. Breakfast is decent, but there's an extra charge for children over 1.4m tall, which is a bit of a downside. The housekeeping service is practically non-existent; I had to call ten times to get an answer once. The pool wasn't particularly clean, and my child said there were bugs at the bottom. The room door was a bit difficult to close, probably due to the humid weather, and there was no smart TV."

The walls have a natural stone texture, giving the decor a real holiday vibe. The room even comes with a ceiling-mounted projector, so you can lie in bed and watch movies at night, which really enhances the atmosphere. Little details like the smart toilet and mini-fridge are all provided, and the mattress is super soft, ensuring you sleep soundly until morning. The entire place offers excellent privacy; you can barely hear any noise from outside. It's perfectly suited for couples looking to relax and unwind on a getaway 🏖️"

"Our family vacation has come to a perfect end! The hotel butler, Ella, provided thoughtful and attentive service. The kids' club facilities were extensive, and the dedicated shallow pool for children was very welcoming. There were various family activities to choose from, making it a one-stop solution for entertaining the kids. The nearby food street was also very convenient."

"You can never go wrong with choosing Sheraton when traveling; the quality and service of this long-standing hotel chain are always guaranteed. The room was comfortable and quite spacious, directly overlooking the pool, with a side view of the beach and ocean – very pleasant. The hotel thoughtfully provided Crocs-style sandals and a drying rack, which was convenient for drying clothes after going to the beach. The room also had a dehumidifier and air purifier, keeping the air fresh, and the air conditioning worked perfectly. Our butler, Luna, provided excellent recommendations for local food and attractions. She also advised us to avoid peak times for breakfast and even sent us off with Hainan local specialties after check-out. For breakfast, I recommend sitting outside on the 2nd floor; the sea breeze is wonderfully refreshing. The 4th-floor indoor area is less crowded, and the food selection is the same. It would be even better with more desserts and cakes. The passion fruit was absolutely delicious! I highly recommend the Hou'an noodles; I had a bowl every day! I also strongly recommend the coconuts from the hotel's convenience store! They're cheaper than outside and incredibly creamy. The mangoes and passion fruit were also super tasty! They can even deliver to your room! Ordering takeout was also very convenient, with a self-pickup locker cabinet at the entrance. The shuttle bus can take you to the Four Points by Sheraton, and just a short walk further is a commercial street. For young children who want to swim, I recommend the pool at the adjacent Four Points; just mention your room number for access. In short, Sheraton is still Sheraton, and it never disappoints!"

"The hotel lobby is absolutely stunning, it immediately gives you a sense of spaciousness and a 'vacation abroad' vibe as soon as you walk in. There were even foreigners singing and clowns performing in the lobby. Directly opposite the hotel is a diving paradise. Every spot in the hotel is incredibly picturesque, perfect for photos. They have a very professional photography team, but only five photos are free, and additional ones are 100 RMB each. They usually take many great shots, so you'll naturally end up selecting more than just the free ones because they're all so beautiful and Instagram-worthy. You definitely need to get some 'blockbuster' photos at the Westin! I'll definitely book the butler service again next time; it was so attentive and responsive to every request, even surprising me with a cake. My butler, Mile, was fantastic! The breakfast was rich and varied, and the lawn was beautiful."

"This stay was a truly delightful surprise! The room was spotless, tidy, and felt brand new. The staff's service was outstanding; they were incredibly responsive to any request and went above and beyond, even kindly upgrading us to a sea-view room for free! Pushing open the window revealed an endless ocean vista – the view was absolutely stunning! The only minor drawback is that rooms close to the sea tend to be a bit humid, making it difficult for clothes to dry. The complimentary photoshoot experience offered by the hotel was also excellent. They didn't skimp on quality just because it was a free service; the photographer was patient and responsible throughout, and the photos turned out great. We also tried the surfing program in partnership with the hotel. The surf shop is super close to the hotel, so we could head straight back to our room to shower after surfing, which was incredibly convenient. Compared to a random shop we found on the street before, this one has excellent changing and showering facilities, and their Canon camera for photos produced clear, high-quality images. If you want great photos, this is definitely the place to go. The breakfast offered a rich and varied selection, with fresh fruits and snacks. I particularly loved their waffles – they tasted amazing! Overall, my stay was a perfect 10/10!"

"Given the 2500+ RMB price per night, we'll judge it by 2500+ RMB standards. The facilities are indeed old. The air conditioning doesn't get cold, no matter how you adjust it. Looking at other reviews, it's a central AC system and can't be adjusted. It showed 29 degrees Celsius in the room, and I wonder how many people staying in a hotel would find that acceptable. Breakfast required queuing, which I don't understand. As an older hotel, surely this isn't a new problem? If there aren't enough dining resources, why not open more restaurants? It's clearly sacrificing guest experience to maximize profits. Another strange policy is that once food delivery arrives, you have to call for it to be sent up. I don't quite understand why it can't just be delivered directly without the guest having to make that call. Perhaps the only good thing I'll remember is that the cleaning lady was very kind. She helped combine the beds, adjusted the dehumidifier, and found a spot to dry clothes. She was a gem. Overall, my feeling is that the staff are good, but the management comes up with these bizarre rules, and I have no idea what they're thinking."

"Checked into the Yuyue Surf Hotel! Lucky, one of the staff members, was incredibly patient and thorough, answering all our questions and even upgrading us to a suite. All the other staff were also warm and welcoming, providing thoughtful service that made us feel right at home and completely at ease. The room decor was stylish, the entire resort had excellent facilities, and the surfing experience was a lot of fun. I'll definitely be back to experience it again!"
