"The hotel is brand new, and I was pleasantly surprised with a free upgrade to a sea-view room upon check-in. The front desk offers complimentary coffee and a self-service dessert bar, which are lovely thoughtful touches. The room itself was spacious and bright, with a separate wet and dry area in the bathroom. I really enjoyed a relaxing bath in the tub. The breakfast selection was extensive and good quality. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I highly recommend staying here!"

"The hotel is luxurious and grand, and the overall service is excellent. Kita at the front desk was very welcoming during my check-in and even upgraded me to a sea-view room for free. The room itself is beautiful, though the outside of the window glass was a bit dirty. The welcome fruit was delicious, and there are seats in the elevator, which is a nice touch! The butler service was also very attentive, especially Rama and Mago, who deserve special commendation."

The alluringly modern Hyatt Regency Oryx Doha is strategically located close to Hamad International Airport and just a few minutes away from the heart of the city, the palm fringed corniche, National Museum of Qatar and Dohas business district. With its contemporary architecture and warm hospitality, the hotel creates the perfect ambience for business and leisure travellers.
"A beautiful hotel but falls short of 5 star service. The service received was pretty inconsistent as some members of staff and certain situations were dealt with to a top standard but the hotel fell short in other areas. The poolside was not staffed so on our 2 days that we spent there (would have spent more but it was boring), there was nothing provided to eat or drink. Spending time by the pool is a big part of my holiday so this was really disappointing. When I enquired with a staff member, I was told it is un-manned due to a lack of guests using the pool. This wasnt an acceptable reason. The other situation I had was when I asked if I could change money using my contactless card (we forgot our bank cards!) - 2 members of staff said it is possible then when I went to change the money, the manager(Nicole) came and advised that it actually isnt possible. Very unprofessional. Check-in was really nice and Kartik was friendly and helpful. The gentleman at the door was very, very helpful in all matters and 2 members of staff at Alnafourah were also very helpful and friendly. We watched football at Alnafourah and we were treated well and nicely accommodated.
Another incident occured when we came back to our room following a visit to the pool and having had our room made up, there were no towels! I had to call twice to housekeeping to advise them as they took so long to respond then when a member from housekeeping arrived, he told me the towels will take an hour to arrive! Never experienced something like this at a 5 star hotel. I had to go down to reception to resolve the situation and I will say that Nicole did sort it out immediately, the housekeeping manager visited our room to apologise and provided a complimentary fruit bowl. Nicole also offered a wonderful gesture by giving us complimentary entrance to a beautiful 'brunch by the pool' evening dinner. This was a lovely gesture as the food on offer was delightful. The gesture was very much appreciated.
The location of the hotel isnt the best as there isnt too much to do in the area but taxis are so easy to get, this isnt too much of an issue. Overall, a really nice hotel but in my opinion, falls short of 5 star standard but does provide good value for the price. Nice but I wouldn't stay here again. Overall service needs improvement."

"This is already a repeat stay. The hotel isn't far from dining options by taxi, and it's also close to the airport. The only downside is that it's a bit old, and some of the facilities are a bit dated. However, the breakfast is delicious! I love the warm bread, especially with an omelet inside, and I really enjoy the fragrant nuts."

CCongmingdexiongxiong2010We arrived at the hotel at midnight, exhausted as a family of three. The front desk swiftly and smoothly processed our check-in. The room was spacious, with two 1.5m double beds. With a ”stay two, get one free” offer, this is probably the best value Mandarin Oriental hotel globally, although the room we stayed in had no view. Acceptable, though. We loved the hotel's location; the neighborhood has a strong old-money vibe, and it was very comfortable during the day with almost no one around. Although it was hot, there was almost always shade. Locals started coming in the evenings, making the area more lively at night with numerous restaurants. We ate there for three days and didn't have a single bad experience. The M7 Art Museum is directly opposite the hotel, though it usually doesn't have any exhibitions. It's a 12-minute walk to Václav, and the walk along the way is very pleasant. All the staff were extremely friendly.

TTee__I recently had the pleasure of staying at The Chedi Katara in Doha, Qatar, and I can wholeheartedly say that this resort is a gem of refined luxury and warm hospitality. The relaxed atmosphere instantly put me at ease, and every aspect of my visit—from the immaculate surroundings to the attentive service—exceeded my expectations.
Our celebration was memorable. we had initially booked a beach access room and a double room, but thanks to the thoughtful gestures of the staff, we were upgraded to a stunning villa. I would like to extend my deepest gratitude to Amel and Abdusalem at reception for their exceptional service and for making our special occasion even more remarkable.
Additionally, I must commend Azmal for the fantastic house tour, which showcased the exquisite design and thoughtful details of the property. A warm thank you is also due to Dennis and King, who greeted us with their ever-present smiles and friendly demeanour at the door. I also appreciate the efforts of the two staff members on the club cars, whose names I unfortunately cannot recall, and to Richard for his attentive assistance throughout our stay and wonderful conversation and hospitality + tour around Katara village.
The culinary experience was equally impressive. I had the opportunity to enjoy an Iftar during Ramadan that featured a seemingly endless array of delicious dishes, and the breakfast spread was equally sumptuous with plenty of choices to suit every palate. The beach house exuded great vibes and added to the overall charm of the resort.
In summary, I cannot express enough gratitude to the entire team at The Chedi Katara. I would highly recommend this resort to anyone seeking a memorable stay marked by exceptional service, exquisite cuisine, and a truly relaxing ambience.

GGuest UserAesthetically it is an absolute Gorgeous Hotel! Super clean, housekeeping are superb! Accomodation and service is exceptional! We had a wonderful stay. There is a shopping Mall called Lagoona Mall right next door to the hotel that carries high end brands like Chanel. Special Thanks to Mrs. Aya and Mrs. Wejdan at front desk. They are amazing and extremely helpful. Wejdan prepared a wonderful surprise for my daughter's occasion a very sweet and memorable gesture, and Mrs. Aya was very courteous to extend our check-out to accomodate our late flight. The Ladies Elegant Hair Salon are Experts! My daughter styled her hair outside the Hotel it frizzed in 20 minutes we re-did her hair at the Mondrian Hotel and the Lebanese Stylist did an outstanding Job see photo! A Special Thanks to Mr. Abdullah whom helped arrange an Uber car for me and was very courteous to help pay for it when I did not have local currency. Everything in this Hotel was amazing! Breakfast was high quality culinary. Josh was creative with the eggs, all the breakfast Team were attentive to our requests and greeted us with a warm welcome each morning. We stayed one week they actually memorized our pattern and prepared our table in advance we were very flattered by this personable gesture, Thank you! We are definitely returning, Thank You To all the staff and the wonderful surprise that welcomed Us in our room our first night. We truly value you all for this very memorable experience at the Mondrian doha. It does not get better than the Mondrian doha I promise just look at our personal photos!! Mondrian Doha is just DIFFERENT! I am in LOVE with this Hotel! It's beauty doesn't do it Justice!

GGuest UserIt’s ok. The location is good and close to the city center mall. Good for a walk or running at the Bay with breathtakingviews. The hotel was clean, the service is just ok. Shower gel was missing and it took 4 hours to get it. There is a washing machine but no liquid. Washing liquid was promised to get soon, but it took half a day and a call to „0“. At the end we were told it will be purchased from a shop at extra costs. (If you wanna wash, bring liquid). The extra bed we pre-ordered was not ready and we had to call „0“ three times. Its all not a problem itself, but many things in just 4 nights is for me just ok. The front desk stuff is always kinda busy and arrogant in communication. Not just friendly and helpful as I expected. Security staff is very friendly and helpful.
Will choose another hotel next time.

PPaparazyThe Hospitality of the St Regis Hotel in Doha is second to none, from the reception to the room was so clean and the view from the room was marvelous, the food in the Chinese restaurant, the morning breakfast and the swift response of the staffs was very hospitable, also complementary transportation within the hotel with the carrier is mind blowing.
Not forgetting the complementary water and towel by the beach side and also at the pool side was wow and cooling to the mind considering the weather.
I would love to go back someday

GGuest UserWe stayed at Al Najada for 7 days. The staff was very friendly and helpful, assisted us in every way we needed. Early check-in was not possible (we arrived at around 11am), but it didn’t sour our spirits. We booked a deluxe room, it was very spacious and came with a balcony, all amenities were included. Room was cleaned almost daily, at some point staff took one of the bathrobes and didn’t bring a clean one. Breakfast could’ve been better, in my opinion, food options were a bit limited, but, overall, still quite okay. You will not walk away hungry. The location is top notch! It’s right next to Souq Waqif, which is a traditional local market, there are lots of cafes/restaurants/shops there. There are 2 metro stations within the walking distance. Msheireb district (short walk away) was my personal favorite. Definitely will book this hotel next time I’m in Doha.
