This is a truly luxurious hotel. Everything is beautifully and thoughtfully furnished, every corner is spotless, and every staff member greets you with a smile. The air is consistently filled with a delightful frankincense scent. The service level is comparable only to the Mandarin Oriental Hong Kong, yet at less than half the price. It's located in Msheireb, a meticulously designed and lavishly rebuilt area on the site of old Doha, creating an elegant and beautiful dreamscape. It's an unparalleled choice for anyone visiting Qatar.

A beautiful hotel with outstanding service! The staff are incredibly polite and friendly, especially the front desk team. We arrived at 12:00 PM, well before the standard 3:00 PM check-in, and were still able to get our room immediately.
This hotel is my absolute favorite in Doha! The breakfast is excellent, and the beach staff are extremely friendly and, what's particularly important to me, very respectful. You feel completely welcome here, and I will definitely be back!

We had the most wonderful stay at The Ritz-Carlton for my son’s birthday. The hospitality was truly exceptional , every detail was taken care of with so much warmth and thoughtfulness. A special thank-you to Ilham and Naila, who went above and beyond to make my son’s birthday extra special with love, surprises, and personal touches we’ll never forget. It was such a beautiful and memorable experience for our family. Thank you to the entire team for making us feel so celebrated and cared for!

dm_sThe hotel's location is excellent. From the airport, take the Red Line metro, then transfer to the Gold Line and get off at Waqif station. Take Exit 2, but instead of going through the glass door into Souq Waqif, head towards the elevator for Souq Al Najada. The hotel's main entrance is right outside this elevator. Perhaps because the main entrance isn't easy for parking, Google Maps tends to direct you to the road at the back entrance.
The hotel lobby and restaurant look quite grand. The rooms feel a bit dated but are still spacious and clean. It's very quiet at night, and the breakfast is good. There are plenty of restaurants in Souq Waqif itself. Housekeeping took a bit longer than expected, but the staff were very friendly. A big thank you to Obada and Khalid for cleaning our room.
Overall, it offers great value for money.

We had a great experience at the W Doha. At check-in we received an upgrade room and had the pleasure of staying in a W Suite room. The room was impressive and large with separate bedroom and living room areas. We booked this room mostly to relax and stay in and it worked perfectly for us. The staff at the hotel were warm and welcoming throughout our stay and we would recommend this if you're looking for a special stay in Doha's West Bay area. The staff checked in on us in person and over the phone during our stay to see if we needed anything for our room.
The living room was nicely appointed with a large couch, dining table, hanging chair, desk, coffee/tea station with a Nespresso machine, large TV, Bose surround sound system, a small Bose smart speaker, and a few comfy chairs throughout. There was a bathroom in the main area near the entrance. The floor to ceiling windows in the corner suite offered views of the surrounding towers.
The bedroom was awesome with a large comfy bed, plenty of storage and closet space, a large TV and an amazing bathroom. The bathroom had a large bath tub and some premium bath products including lotion and facial cleanser. The highlight here is the shower which had side jets, a large overhead shower and a wand that could all be turned on simultaneously. The melon extract products from Momo and the Nuze hand soap smell very nice.
The facilities at the hotel are nice and there is a good pool area with comfy lounge chairs and a well equipped gym. There are changing areas near the pool area but we did not see locker rooms.
The location is good with many good hotels and a big shopping mall nearby. There are lots of great restaurants, bars and cafes in this area and it is ok to walk around in the cooler months. It is a short walk to the beach from here. On site they have many good restaurants and the breakfast at Market was excellent but we would recommend trying Coya or Spice Market as well. The business lunch meals are very good here. The DECC metro station is a 15 minute walk away from here but we would recommend using Uber or Karwa to get around Doha if you want to do sightseeing.
This is the kind of hotel my wife and I would not leave during our stay. All the amenities and restaurants on site mean you don't have to go far and you can order in everything else. We would consider staying here again and would recommend it for family and friends when visiting.

Guest UserService: From the moment I got out of the car, a bellhop took my bags and guided me to the lobby. The lobby staff were appropriately enthusiastic. Since I arrived at the hotel close to midnight, my request for a late checkout was granted, though not very generously, only for an hour at a time.
Breakfast: It's a buffet plus à la carte system. The buffet selection was limited but sufficient. The fruit tasted mediocre, especially the watermelon, which was as bland as plain water. Considering it's the Middle East and fruits are imported, I can't really complain about this. The à la carte breakfast items were very good, especially the eggs Benedict, which were of a certain standard. Since there weren weren't many diners, finished plates were cleared away quickly.
Room: It has the usual quiet luxury style and is quite spacious. They provide Le Labo toiletries, which is a nice touch. The bedding was very comfortable; the sheets and pillowcases were incredibly smooth, and the mattress was soft, allowing me to fall asleep instantly. However, the toilet is not a smart toilet. Also, if you don't specifically ask, they default to a lower floor. I had hoped to overlook the new Doha city, but due to the low floor, I couldn't see anything.
Gym: There were no staff managing it (at least not during the hour I used it). Used equipment was left scattered around.
Location: It's only 200 meters from the metro station, making it very convenient to get to the city center and the airport. You can also walk to Souq Waqif in the old city. This is definitely a major highlight.
Summary: It meets a standard 5-star level. While it positions itself as high-end, it's not so exceptional that it's a must-stay. Of course, at a price of less than 1000, I can't really ask for much more. Still, for a Park Hyatt, I feel it could have been even better.

Guest UserThis was my second stay at InterContinental Doha, having first stayed during the New Year holiday and now returning again. Coming back for a second visit confirmed exactly why I chose this hotel once more.
The hotel is immaculate in every sense. The property is beautifully maintained, the rooms are spotless, and the overall atmosphere is elegant, comfortable, and welcoming. One of the biggest advantages is the location—everything is conveniently nearby, making it an ideal place to stay whether you’re visiting for leisure or business.
What truly sets this hotel apart, however, is its people.
A special thank you to Priyanka at Reception. From the moment I arrived, she made an outstanding first impression through both her professionalism and her warm personality. The check-in process was smooth, efficient, and welcoming, and she immediately made me feel valued as a guest. Employees like Priyanka are a perfect reflection of the high standards of hospitality that InterContinental Doha represents.
I would also like to recognize Mr. Ali Fouani, Front Office Manager. At this point, Mr. Ali feels more like family than hotel staff. His kindness, genuine care for guests, humility, and professionalism are on another level. It is rare to meet someone who consistently goes above and beyond while remaining so approachable and sincere. He has a remarkable ability to make guests feel appreciated and at home, and his leadership is clearly reflected in the exceptional service throughout the hotel.
Experiences like these are the reason I continue to return. InterContinental Doha has become one of my favorite hotels in the region, not only because of its beautiful facilities and excellent location, but because of the incredible people who make every stay memorable.
I will absolutely stay here again and again, and I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for exceptional hospitality in Doha.

We had a very good stay at this hotel. The amenities are definitely the highlight here with a very nice beach, large outdoor pool area and plenty of on-site dining options. The hotel is centrally located in Doha and is close to the Al Qassar metro station which gives good access to many popular areas and attractions in the city.
Check in was quick and easy when we arrived but I found we had a different experience coming into the hotel each night despite staying there. We brought some snacks on our first day without issue but then on the second day they made me sign a sheet to say we were bringing in food. They have a scanner at the door and didn't make me use it a couple of times but they made sure we walked through with our phones and wallets on the side our last night. He door procedures should be consistent.
The room was nicely appointed with plenty of storage space, a large desk, a coffee/tea station, fully stocked mini bar and a very comfy couch. The bed was large and very firm with some soft/moldable pillows. There is a pillow menu at this hotel and it is recommended to call early to get access to the pillows. We had a very good night's sleep our first night but we found there were some very disruptive and noisy people in the hall just after midnight on our second night at the hotel. There is a pretty good phone service and once you call they are able to provide housekeeping, extra water or fill any requests quickly but we had difficulties reaching them on our second night.
The bathroom was good with some nice bath products including body lotion. There was a large counter, bidet, big bath tub and a nice shower. We felt the water flow rate could be a bit stronger for the bath tub and it took a bit to fill the bath tub one evening.
We have stayed at other hotels and areas in Doha and would say this hotel had one of the best beach areas we've seen. There were lots of lounge chairs, activities and some very soft towels. The sand at the beach was well maintained during our visit. The bar for the beach and pool area was nice and during high season they have QR codes by your seating area so you can order online and have food/drinks delivered to you. They have daily scheduled activities like beach volleyball and paddle. Near the beach area is Mykonos restaurant which is a very good Greek restaurant.
We booked the hotel with breakfast and would recommend trying it out. Coral Restaurant was not too busy during our stay and the staff are kind, friendly and attentive. They make some very good coffee here and we appreciated that they remembered us and our preferences. The breakfast area has good Arabic and Western options, plenty of cheese, pastries, fruit, smoked fish and some tasty infused honey (vanilla, mint, thyme, spiced, etc.). They had made to order eggs, pancakes and waffles during our stay. Some restaurants on site take their IHG rewards programs for discounts and others will take discount applications like Urban Point for BOGO meals so it is worth asking in advance.
We would recommend this hotel if you are looking for a relaxing stay with everything on site or want to be centrally located. We felt it was well priced when we stayed considering the amenities and condition of the hotel.

We enjoyed a staycation at the Westin with a full board option. This is an all in one resort and has many good amenities including a nice pool area, great restaurants, and many other services on site. The hotel has a pleasant smell to it and the staff are super friendly and welcoming.
The room is very big with a large bathroom. The room had a lot of furniture including a comfy couch at the foot of the bed, a desk, a large tea/coffee station closet area, comfy bed and lots of cabinets and countertops to put our things. The bathroom was a standout for sure with a large closet area with lots of drawers, a large shower with excellent pressure, and a bath tub that could get a view of the TV in the bedroom. We appreciated the white tea scented bath products and lotion. The room was showing a bit of wear to the carpet and some of the cabinets but nothing major. We felt the room was good and clean.
With the full board we got to enjoy breakfast, lunch and dinner each day. The breakfast was a good buffet filled with western and Asian options and was well stocked each morning. They made hot drinks to order which we enjoyed each day. The lunch was a la carte during our stay and we enjoyed some good steak, chicken and salads during our stay. The sticky toffee pudding at Seasonal Taste was a standout for dessert and we would recommend it. For dinner we were allowed to go to their Iftar tent and it was very good with plenty of options for sushi, pasta, Indian and Thai dishes. The baked fish and Thai curries were really well made for their Ramadan tent. There was also a Baskin Robbins ice cream cart at the iftar. We also enjoyed watching the live entertainment with the swirling dervish and a live band with Arabic instruments. They have some other good restaurants on site including Sabai Thai and Hunter's Grill but those were closed due to Ramadan. We have been at Seasonal Taste around the holidays and they will do special dinners and brunches so it is worth checking out. We had a bit of a mix up on our last day for lunch but the hotel resolved it quickly.
The main pool area was closed during our stay but we had access to the indoor pool which was nice and empty when we visited. They have nice and clean locker rooms by the main pool and near the indoor one as well. We used the Heavenly Spa desk to use the squash courts, fitness studio and booked a massage. Staying at the hotel gave us access to the indoor pool and preferred rates for both the squash court and massage.
There is not much near this hotel other than other hotels which also have some good restaurants. The metro station is also a bit of a walk from here and there is not too much to do in the area so we would recommend staying in and maximizing your time at the hotel if you are booking here. If you do need to go out we would recommend taking Ubers.
