Atami Hotels with Pools

"I only discovered this hotel because I wanted to see the Atami Fireworks Festival, but I loved it the moment I stepped inside. The regular shuttle bus between the hotel and Atami Station is incredibly convenient. The hotel environment and food are also pluses, especially the onsen (hot spring bath), which was truly relaxing. There's also an outdoor swimming pool, but I didn't have time to try it; I felt like even one night wasn't enough. There's a dedicated area by the sea for watching the fireworks, which is a thoughtful touch. The front desk has Chinese-speaking staff who are very welcoming and will provide maps and directions."

"There were very few Chinese guests, mostly Japanese families on vacation. We were probably among the rare Chinese guests at this hotel. We chose the Horizon room type, which comes with two private onsen baths. They aren't huge, but they are impeccably clean. Dining was at Ocean, about a 15-minute walk away. The upside is that it's perfect for a leisurely stroll back to your room after dinner to digest your meal. Atami feels like a mini-Chongqing, with very genuine and friendly locals. I'd definitely visit again."

"My family and I have two different evaluations of this hotel. I am very satisfied with the location of the hotel, because I can look at the sea, see the sunrise, see the big moon, and see the fireworks. But Amei felt that it was too far from the station, too slanted along the road, and there were not many buses, which was so difficult. For hotel facilities, I think it is acceptable, but Amei is too old and hates the stains on the sheets. For friends who love sea views and pursue cost-effectiveness, this is good; for friends who pursue novel hotel facilities, you need to think more."

"The views from this hotel are absolutely stunning. The front desk area and lounge are spacious, with large windows offering panoramic ocean views – truly spectacular. The public bath facilities, including both indoor and semi-open-air baths, also boast magnificent views. Towels and amenities are provided. The rooms are spacious, allowing for a comfortable and relaxing stay. While the hotel shows its age a bit, it's very clean. We had two large beds pushed together, which was perfect for our family of three to sleep comfortably. The front desk can arrange for bottle sterilizer sets and cribs upon request. For meals, we had both dinner and breakfast from the buffet this time. There was a wide selection of dishes, and we were happy with the price. Overall, I thought the service was good, but it didn't quite feel like great value for the price. This might be because our child is only 0 years old, so we couldn't fully enjoy all the activities. I imagine it would be a much better stay once our child is older and we can take full advantage of the activities."

"The hotel is located right in front of the sea, with a convenience store nearby and paid parking spaces. The price is very reasonable for the area. The hotel staff is very good. In fact, the highlight of this hotel is their private open-air bath, which is very comfortable. recommend"

"Came here for the fireworks. You can soak in the hot springs at the hotel next to the fireworks display, have a buffet, then change into a yukata and head over leisurely. The hotel buffet even includes unlimited beer, cocktails, and more! I loved the chawanmushi, grilled fish, beef brisket, tempura... and there was sashimi too. For breakfast, I grabbed some natto, and wow, that's truly 'hellish' cuisine, haha! 🤣 They offer a JR station shuttle service. The driver was very nice and helped with our luggage. We decided not to take it on the way there because we wanted to explore the onsen town, but the hilly roads were quite a trek, very difficult to walk. I'd recommend just heading straight to check-in first, then exploring. The onsen also had a manga corner. Oh, and you don't actually need to bring your own yukata for the fireworks! This hotel has many different patterns of yukata available for guests using the hot springs."

"Only 9 minutes from Atami Station, no stairs all the way down the slope, check out there is a shuttle bus up the mountain. Guests staying can choose their preferred yukata style. Breakfast is a buffet form, dinner is more old-fashioned Japanese food package, the taste is quite satisfactory. The hotel has more Japanese guests than foreign guests, who may only have 3 or 4 groups. The rooms are spacious and offer tatami-laying services, the sea view is excellent. The day of the fireworks festival will also open the rooftop for guests to watch, the rooftop is completely unobstructed very clear!"

"It is recommended by a lady who specializes in traveling in Japan. It is a great Japanese-style hotel. The hotel is located on the hill, if you are towing a suitcase, you must call a taxi. Towing a suitcase to climb a hill is definitely difficult. The scenery around the hotel is very good, I just want to soak in the hot springs, but I don’t want to leave the hotel. Like door keys, switches, sockets, and toilets, these look like the standard of a domestic 3-star hotel more than ten years ago. Because it is related to the beach, the room is a damp musty smell as soon as it enters, but there is a purifier in the room. It is not easy to book a room on the night of the fireworks conference, although the price may have doubled 3 times compared to the usual price. The room rate includes 2 large and 1 small, one berth and two meals, and 3 people have made the bed and put toiletries. Breakfast and dinner are buffets. It is best to make an appointment with the hotel in advance for dinner. We don’t know. We went to the scene and were told that there was a second 20 o’clock. Fortunately, our driver sister and the front desk softly grinded hard and said that we were going to the beach to see the fire. We were transferred to the first session at 18:30. Although the quality of the buffet is not much, it tastes very good, especially fried shrimp, egg fried rice, steak. Soft drinks and beer are also free, and the meal time is 70 minutes. After dinner, there are two roads from the hotel to the hydrophilic park google map, one passing through Atami Ginza, there are many people and cars and shops to walk slowly. If you want to feel lively, you can go here. We chose a path with steps along the river. It is not tired to go downhill to the beach. It takes about 12 or 3 minutes to get to the hydrophilic park. It is just right to see the fireworks here. If you don't want to go to the beach, there is also a terrace on the 5th floor of the hotel (you can see a sign on the same day), but it will be blocked by the front building. Be optimistic about the fire back to the hotel, you can also go to the large bathhouse on the 2nd floor to take a bath and soak in the hot springs, comfortable. The latest admission time for breakfast the next day is 9 o'clock."

"The hotel is located halfway up a hill with a steep slope that you have to walk up yourself, which is a bit inconvenient. The facilities are rather old, and there is no central air conditioning, although the rooms have air conditioning. The service is quite good. There is a shuttle bus to the station at 10:00 AM."
