"Arriving in Atami from Tokyo in the afternoon, we were unfortunately caught in a heavy downpour. My wife and I found ourselves stranded at Atami Station. Our original plan was to have dinner first and then head to our accommodation once the rain eased, but it showed no signs of stopping. Everything you read in the reviews about the hotel's proprietress is absolutely true. She's Chinese and incredibly warm and hospitable. The proprietress couldn't reach us initially, so she went to great lengths, contacting my wife through Ctrip customer service, adding her on WeChat, and then personally driving to Atami Station to pick us up. We were genuinely, profoundly moved by her kindness! Upon arrival at the hotel, she enthusiastically introduced us to the hotel facilities and nearby attractions. She was incredibly thorough and passionate about it! Crucially, she cleared up all my questions about the 'Kinmedai Train,' which truly ensured our trip was seamless and perfect! The hotel room perfectly matched the photos. On a clear day, you can enjoy stunning views of the blue sky, white clouds, and the ocean. (I've included some photos!) I didn't get a chance to take many interior photos, but the tatami room was impressively spacious! Unfortunately, it was pouring rain again on our departure day back to Tokyo. The proprietress had her husband (a local who speaks a little Chinese) kindly drive us to the station. He was very friendly. The hotel offers excellent value for money! Highly, highly recommend!"

"I’m a little torn to rate the location average because it can be a pain to get to if you don’t have a car, but the view from the room (apparently all rooms have view of the sea) is great. A lot of variety for breakfast but nothing really stood out. I didn’t get to visit the onsen because they don’t allow tattooed people. I would stay again, especially in summer on a fireworks day!"

"The bathroom is surprisingly clean. The location is good and not far from JR, but there is a slope. There is only one bathroom. The boys' bathing time is too short. They will not have enough time to take a bath after returning from the fireworks festival. Basic toiletries, disinfectants, etc. are all provided. Anyway, there are many charged items, so it’s best to bring your own. Breakfast is a bowl of Ochazuke rice with an egg. The self-service option includes dishwashing. "There are two LIVE MAX in Atami, not far away. According to the local driver, one can see the fireworks from the front. Our room is 502, and it can indeed be seen, but you need to stand on the balcony. It is estimated that 501 and 503 in the same direction can also see it. The remaining rooms are facing the other direction. The layout of the guest rooms in the hotel is L-shaped. You can see the fireworks on the short side of the L, but you should not be able to see them on the long side. But you can go up to the rooftop on the 9th floor to see them. The hotel's washbasin is very small, but it provides a lot of practical things~ Toothbrushes are not good, the bristles are very hard... The breakfast restaurant is not big, there are dining restrictions, 60 minutes per time The hotel's bathroom... is transparent, you can watch people running along the coast while taking a shower 🏃 If you mind, try to choose a high floor. The staff said that because of the angle, the downstairs can't see the upstairs"

"The hotel is a 7-minute drive from Kinomiya Station. There are no convenience stores, restaurants or other shops nearby, so if you want to find a restaurant or convenience store, you have to go to Atami Station. The hotel can only provide a few free buses a day between the hotel and Kinomiya Station. If you reach Atami Station, you have to take the railway, which is only a 2-minute drive away. Since we booked the hotel on the same day, we could only book some rooms without showers, so we had to go to the public baths to take a shower and soak in the hot springs. We successfully booked the hotel at 11:00 am on the day of check-in. Knowing that the hotel provides free station pick-up service, we contacted Ctrip customer service to inquire about the hotel, but the hotel did not respond, so we had to take a taxi when we arrived at Kinomiya Station. When you arrive at the hotel, all check-in procedures are self-service and you need a password to check into your room. The hotel staff are very friendly, especially a female staff with short hair, who can carefully explain and answer any questions. The room we booked included a western breakfast, which was just mediocre. I originally planned to order dinner from the hotel, but after looking at the menu, I felt that there was nothing special, and the price-performance ratio was not very high, so I went to Atami Station for dinner."

"The hotel is on the mountain and has a shuttle bus but it needs to be booked one day in advance. I have previously asked on trip.com or the hotel's official website but could not find any reservation method. On that day, I found the tourist information office in the Atami Station shopping mall and found out that the taxi fare was about 2,000 yen. So I took a taxi to the hotel. The hotel is older, but every room faces the sea and we could see the sunrise the next day. I booked a one night stay with two meals. I didn't choose buffet when I booked it. I went to the hotel to check and found out that dinner would be Japanese cuisine. The breakfast buffet is more varied and filling than dinner. The room has no bathroom, only a toilet. Take a shower in the large public bath. There is one large hot spring pool and three small ones. The men's and women's pools are adjusted in the morning and evening. There are also hot springs for rent. The worst thing about the hotel is the central air conditioning. It was very hot that day, but the vents only vented heating air, so I felt hot even when sleeping with the window open. 9-10:30pm: We provide late night snacks of delicious Dandan noodles. There is a small gift shop with coffee and green tea available free of charge. You can't see Mount Fuji from the hotel"
