Great location… very close to banks, restaurants, and the night market. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, which made my stay even better. The room was clean and comfortable, though a bit more space would be ideal. AC worked perfectly, and I really liked the lighting setup. The rooftop pool is small and has a slight chlorine smell, but it’s still a cute and relaxing spot, especially with music playing in the background. Early check-in was very flexible with just a small top-up, which I really appreciated. Being The 24-hour café was super helpful with snacks available anytime and a great working space that’s well-equipped with plenty of sockets. It also smelled amazing, which made working there quite enjoyable and productive. Overall, had a really great time and would definitely come back!

We booked a triple room, but the one we were given was quite small, cramped, and had a strong musty smell, making it uninhabitable. We requested to change to a larger quadruple room, agreeing to pay an additional 1,000 Baht for our two-night stay. The new room was spacious and comfortable, featuring one queen-sized bed and two single beds. It had a TV with Netflix (though the screen was a bit small) and a small, somewhat old refrigerator. Overall, it was a decent stay, but there was a strong drain smell from the bathroom. The room had only one air conditioning unit, located at the back near the bathroom entrance. Due to the room's size, the AC couldn't cool the entire space evenly. Thankfully, there were two ceiling fans which helped; one was a bit tricky to turn on, but we managed to get the other working. The staff were attentive and helpful, and the buffet breakfast was excellent.

Xaysomboun Hotel is a well-run good hotel in Vientiane and maintaining a very reasonable rental rate for its great rooms including providing sumptuous breakfasts for the tenants to start a new day.

Location is good and near everywhere. Breakfast is fine. Service and Views are great. The room door is need to be locked because older version. Bathroom is great but door is need to change because difficult to close. All are good and friendly.

The hotel is nice but the price performance ratio is rather on the low side. The room I booked was spacious, the furnishings a bit worn off. It seemed clean on the first look, until you found a rather thick dust film inside the wardrobes. The room was quiet, the water pressure acceptable and the bed comfortable but a bit squeeky. Breakfast had options, staff very friendly. Vientiane is not big so everything is in walking distance anyway.

Nice hotel in the centre of the city, close to the most important sites. The room is spacious and comfortable. The breakfast wasn’t anything special, but OK. The only issue is that the staff at the restaurant understands very little English, so what you get is a hit and miss. Most of the time a miss… Even when you write it down.

The staff are really nice!I love the room, its clean and comfy. The staff at the reception can speak good english and they helped us a lot from transpo to buying of simcards. I love their coffee area too!

The hotel is clean and nice though the lift is rather small. The room has a balcony where you can see the sunset. The staff are nice and helpful. Space for parking outside is limited but no problem for me. The location of the hotel is the best thing. Walk 1 minute to Si-Hom walking street and night market. 5-minute walk to night market along the MaeKhong river. 10-minute drive to Wattay airport.
