Stayed during the holiday period. Arrived at 1:30 PM, and my original room wasn't ready. They kindly upgraded me for free to a family room on the 7th floor, which had a great view and was very spacious. The hotel's 3rd-floor terrace offers a view of the tidal bore, but unfortunately, the tide wasn't very strong during my stay – almost non-existent – so I ended up exploring the nearby Yan Guan Chaole City instead. There aren't many takeout options around the hotel; most are delivered by the merchants themselves. The hotel had a very high occupancy rate, and the breakfast area was extremely crowded, which wasn't a great experience.

Facilities: This price is OK, the price is very high, the key next door is the scenic spot is very convenient, parking is also very convenient! It is very small. I found a tide chaser by car and took me for 200. Master Zheng, a tide chaser, is very responsible. There are many tide chasers there. I found the store for the safety and quality. I felt a bit expensive before I went. After I went, I felt that it was worth the money! ❤️ I went to two stores for dinner nearby: one is Qiantang Fish Village. I personally think that the taste is generally not very good. There is a tofu fish called Fish Baxian. There is a tofu fish in it. Don't eat it if you don't like it! The second is Chaoshan Hotel. The taste is better than the first. The price is basically a few dollars cheaper per dish!

Even though everything is new, it felt better than expected! The main thing is that we didn't have any bad meals during our three days in the scenic area – the food was good, and the prices weren't high, which was a pleasant surprise! The tidal bore show in front of the visitor center plays for 10 minutes every hour on the hour, and it's free to watch. Before we checked in, the hotel added me on WeChat and provided check-in instructions, navigation, and parking information. Since I didn't want to get stuck in traffic during the holiday, I took the subway and then the Hanghai Intercity line. After getting off at Yanguan station, I didn't want to wait for the shuttle bus, so I took a taxi. It took about an hour and a half from the city center to the scenic area, and the journey was quite smooth. A big thank you to the front desk staff, Xiao Meng and Xiao Xiu, for all the information they provided during our stay. Both the daytime and nighttime views are great, with plenty of places to explore and eat – though it does make your legs tired. The shuttle bus is free for hotel guests, but it takes a roundabout route. Unless you're going to watch the tide at the Tidal Bore Park, it's not really necessary for non-guests. Tidal Bore Park requires a separate ticket; you'll regret it if you don't see the bore, and you might regret it if you do – it's mainly about experiencing it since you're already here. Be sure to protect yourself from heatstroke and sunburn when watching the tide! All the activities are music-related, with循环 performances. You can check the schedule via the WeChat mini-program. The scenic area map is a bit abstract, though; the locations of the shows are basically impossible to find directly on the map. You either have to ask someone or try to figure out the connections to find them. Don't rely on the routes shown on the map; just use it for general direction. If you want to go somewhere, walk in the general direction, and you can cut through small paths and buildings – as long as there's a path, you can go. Walking in and out of the Xuande Gate Hotel, the small side gate is the most convenient. Currently, only the indoor pool is open. I also took a stroll to the Main Singer Hotel on the other end; it has a different style, so it might be nice to try staying there for a day.

The shop is easy to find along the street. The ”small courtyard” at the entrance, surrounded by flowers and plants, is very cozy. It's directly opposite the entrance to Guanchao Shengdi Park, offering free admission before 7:30 AM and after 5:30 PM. The proprietress and her family are very friendly and welcoming, and will inform you of any precautions. The interior of the room is reminiscent of an old-fashioned two-star hotel, but the sanitation is exceptional. The flowers and plants outside the window, along with the clothesline, create a homely and comfortable feeling. We stayed on the third floor, which doesn't have an elevator, but the proprietress offered to help us carry our suitcases upstairs, which was very much appreciated. I suggest the proprietress install a wind shield on the air conditioner, as it would otherwise blow directly onto the bed.

This hotel is not good value for money. Although it is a hotel under the Kaiyuan brand, the quality and service do not meet the 4-star standard. The front desk upgraded me to a deluxe room, but the plastic seal on the bathroom door was still peeling off. The hotel breakfast was good, but unfortunately there was no fruit. Overall, I felt that the hotel service was not professional and enthusiastic enough, and it did not have the same luxurious feel as B&B.

After arriving at the scenic spot, a staff member immediately helped carry the luggage and guided us all the way to the hotel front desk to check in. The original booked double room was upgraded to a family suite for free. When I opened the door, I was really surprised: the bed was decorated with ”Happy Birthday” birthday decorations, the bedside was dotted with colorful balloons, and even the cute black bean eyes on the baby elephant towel and rabbit towel were attached, which seemed particularly flexible. There are also two handwritten messages on the bedside table. Every intention I received along the way made me feel that I was seriously remembered, and the sense of ritual and emotional value of my birthday suddenly filled up, which was completely pleasantly surprised. After settling down, the fatigue of the journey slowly poured up, and I took a nap first. The belly pillow prepared in advance was immediately useful, so that the pregnancy stay also had a feeling of convenience and comfort like at home. After waking up, I found that Acheng had introduced the scenic spot in detail in WeChat, recommended me a play project suitable for experience, and also told me that if you are tired after walking, you can contact the hotel to arrange a shuttle bus to take me back to rest. This sentence may be a service reminder for ordinary tourists, but for me who travel during pregnancy, it does relieve a lot of worries. The scenic spot is very special project is an immersive large-scale script tour. Many task crews are distributed throughout the scenic spot to play NPC, guiding tourists to participate in the plot. After a period of play, I suddenly felt a little physically unable to help, so I contacted Acheng and hoped to take the shuttle bus back to the hotel. Unfortunately, the location I was in was surrounded by small roads, and the shuttle bus could not drive directly in. I understand that I originally planned to rest in place for a while and then walk back to the hotel slowly. After all, the distance is not far. I didn't expect Acheng to immediately put forward a new solution and asked if I could arrange a wheelchair to pick me up. This service attitude, which is not rigid in the fixed process and immediately finds a way to solve problems, makes me very touched. The really good service is not only polite and enthusiastic, but also able to stand in the perspective of the guests, worry about the guests, think about the guests. Affected by the typhoon weather, the trip was already prepared to spend most of the time in the hotel. Although the weather did not seem to be obvious on the morning of the 11th, the scenic spot has begun typhoon prevention arrangements in advance, cruise ships and bamboo rafts have been suspended, and small boats have been neatly fixed on the shore, swaying gently with the water. That morning, we enjoyed the Hong Kong-style morning tea presented by the hotel, located on the second floor of Xingyueli near the hotel. After that, I also took a walk in the scenic spot, fed the fish in the Confucian Temple, bought a souvenir, and stamped a souvenir in Jinyong Book Cafe. After receiving a call from Acheng at noon, I learned that due to the weather, most hotels in the scenic area will be temporarily closed in the afternoon, and the hotel will continue to receive guests. Under the coordination of Acheng, we will transfer to the lead singer hotel in the scenic area (resort hotel) and upgrade to the electric sound bed room. When I packed my luggage and prepared to leave the old city hotel, I also received a gift from Acheng: fresh fruits and a few beautiful small toys. Afterwards, a young lady at the front desk of the Old City Hotel accompanied us to the lead singer hotel throughout the process to assist in the follow-up check-in procedures. The whole transfer process was very smooth, and we didn't bother us much for temporary changes. Since the lead singer hotel did not prepare a belly pillow in advance, the Old City Hotel also specially sent the original belly pillow together. The stay experience of the lead singer hotel is also very good, and it will not be discussed here. During this trip, every hotel staff I met was like a microcosm of the human touch of Chaole City Scenic Area. From the active contact before check-in, to birthday arrangements and pregnancy care, to the coordination of placement in sudden weather, I feel that it is not only standardized hotel services, but also a sincere concern. If you are also considering whether to stay at the Old Town Hotel, you may wish to refer to my real experience. The hotel is relatively new, and I was upgraded to a suite. The room was spacious with good facilities, but there was still a slight odor. The pool has a nice view, but the management is lax; people can enter without a swimming cap or proper swimwear, which is frustrating. There are plenty of shuttle buses from the hotel to the scenic area. The scenic area is still under construction, so it wasn't crowded, and commercial activity was a bit slow. The scenery is beautiful and quite similar to Wuzhen, but Wuzhen is too crowded. It would be better if some of the crowd could be diverted here.

The B&B is right on the old street. It is very convenient to get to the B&B from the parking lot, and it is only a few steps away from the scenic spots. The interior decoration of the B&B is very stylish, the calligraphy and painting decorations are very charming, and the whole street has a refreshing and noble feeling that is not stained by the mud. The boss also has a lot of knowledge. He can give a eloquent introduction to the history of Yanguan Ancient Town and tide watching strategies. The fourth-grade students he received are also familiar with it. The service tips are also very attentive and helpful. We checked in from October 3rd to 5th. The old street in front of the hotel is the only night market area with old buildings. When we stepped out, we felt like we were transported back to the temple market in the 1990s. The atmosphere of fireworks in the street market is rich, but not flattering. Let’s talk about the travel experience of Eleven Scenic Areas! In addition to being expensive, tide watching parks are expensive. Not to mention the crowds, the tide after the 3rd is generally not considered a big tide. Fortunately, I didn't go to the Tide Park to watch the tide. The viewing platform charges an additional 80 yuan per person. The first wave of tide is just one wave, and it takes about three minutes to complete. I went to Liangjiadun in advance to watch the tidal wave. It was not too big and there were many people, but it was better than the Tide Watching Park, and it was free. As for the first line of tide in Yanguan, we did not pull down the tide. We could also see the tide at Xiaoputuo Temple when we met unexpectedly. It is really not recommended to check in during the Tide Watching Festival. Road closures everywhere and tolls are just for watching the crowds. Let’s talk about the century-old city. Apart from the Confucius Temple, not much is left of the Tanah Lot Temple. The value of the tour is only the white marble door plate outside the door. Only one ten thousandth of the courtyard building inside has been preserved. The furnishings are just like a temple. There is no trace of the life of a wealthy family. Other ancient city walls are under construction, and we don’t know when they will be completed. In order to watch the tide, you can check in in other months. As for looking for historical monuments, we have to wait and see how quickly the Yanguan government can repair them. Anyway, today’s Yanguan travel experience is not very advanced in terms of software and hardware.

Come to the ancient town for a business trip and stroll around. The whole ancient town is particularly beautiful. The taste of the Jiangnan water town is very beautiful! The guest rooms are also very clean and hygienic. There is a one-on-one WeChat butler, who can communicate at any time, which is very convenient! They said that you can also watch the Qiantang River tide here! Come back next time you wait for the tide day!

This is the most cost-effective homestay we have ever stayed in. The largest guest room is a three-bedroom and two-bathroom family suite. It is as warm and comfortable as home. The bedding is clean and tidy. The family lives in a super comfortable place! There is also a projector to watch movies, great value!
