Choosing to stay at the Qianjiang Junting Hotel for this trip was an excellent decision! First off, the location is superb, right by the Qiantang River, so we could see the Qiantang River Tidal Bore right from our room's balcony – incredibly convenient. Secondly, the hotel facilities are comprehensive. Even though it's been open for over a decade, the hotel is exceptionally well-maintained and still looks grand and luxurious. Furthermore, both the cleanliness and service were outstanding; the hotel, inside and out, was spotless. The staff were highly professional and provided thoughtful, attentive service, making us feel right at home. All in all, our stay at the Qianjiang Junting Hotel was very pleasant and satisfying. A big thank you to all the front desk, restaurant, and housekeeping staff who assisted us!

The hotel is very close to the tide viewing park, and it is very convenient to get in and out. After the evening, take the children for a walk to the tide viewing holy place park to punch in the Chinese textbook. The inn has a beautiful environment and comfortable accommodation. Even though everything is new, it felt better than expected! The main thing is that we didn't have any bad meals during our three days in the scenic area – the food was good, and the prices weren't high, which was a pleasant surprise! The tidal bore show in front of the visitor center plays for 10 minutes every hour on the hour, and it's free to watch. Before we checked in, the hotel added me on WeChat and provided check-in instructions, navigation, and parking information. Since I didn't want to get stuck in traffic during the holiday, I took the subway and then the Hanghai Intercity line. After getting off at Yanguan station, I didn't want to wait for the shuttle bus, so I took a taxi. It took about an hour and a half from the city center to the scenic area, and the journey was quite smooth. A big thank you to the front desk staff, Xiao Meng and Xiao Xiu, for all the information they provided during our stay. Both the daytime and nighttime views are great, with plenty of places to explore and eat – though it does make your legs tired. The shuttle bus is free for hotel guests, but it takes a roundabout route. Unless you're going to watch the tide at the Tidal Bore Park, it's not really necessary for non-guests. Tidal Bore Park requires a separate ticket; you'll regret it if you don't see the bore, and you might regret it if you do – it's mainly about experiencing it since you're already here. Be sure to protect yourself from heatstroke and sunburn when watching the tide! All the activities are music-related, with循环 performances. You can check the schedule via the WeChat mini-program. The scenic area map is a bit abstract, though; the locations of the shows are basically impossible to find directly on the map. You either have to ask someone or try to figure out the connections to find them. Don't rely on the routes shown on the map; just use it for general direction. If you want to go somewhere, walk in the general direction, and you can cut through small paths and buildings – as long as there's a path, you can go. Walking in and out of the Xuande Gate Hotel, the small side gate is the most convenient. Currently, only the indoor pool is open. I also took a stroll to the Main Singer Hotel on the other end; it has a different style, so it might be nice to try staying there for a day.

I'd been looking forward to my trip to Yanguan for ages, but I was hesitant about booking a hotel, worried that a bad choice would spoil my trip. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the hotel's excellent environment—clean and tidy. The staff were incredibly welcoming, clearly explaining the hotel and the time we would be watching the tidal bore. They even upgraded us to the hotel's top suite, which was a wonderful surprise. It was probably the hotel's good fortune that allowed us to witness the tidal bore even when we might not have seen it. All of this was thanks to the hotel's comfort and the good luck we had. It's a spacious two-bedroom, one-living room, two-bathroom apartment. The building is listed as having opened this year, so the complex is very new. The sales office is still there, so there are probably still units for sale. Occupancy isn't high. It's located outside Yanguan Town, about a 10-minute walk away. There aren't many people around. You can see the Qiantang River in the distance. It feels like it just opened recently; it's very new. There are some seats at the reception, but breakfast isn't provided yet. Since we were only staying one night, it provided enough comfortable space for two friends to move around and rest. It was quite nice.

The B&B is right on the old street. It is very convenient to get to the B&B from the parking lot, and it is only a few steps away from the scenic spots. The interior decoration of the B&B is very stylish, the calligraphy and painting decorations are very charming, and the whole street has a refreshing and noble feeling that is not stained by the mud. The boss also has a lot of knowledge. He can give a eloquent introduction to the history of Yanguan Ancient Town and tide watching strategies. The fourth-grade students he received are also familiar with it. The service tips are also very attentive and helpful. We checked in from October 3rd to 5th. The old street in front of the hotel is the only night market area with old buildings. When we stepped out, we felt like we were transported back to the temple market in the 1990s. The atmosphere of fireworks in the street market is rich, but not flattering. Let’s talk about the travel experience of Eleven Scenic Areas! In addition to being expensive, tide watching parks are expensive. Not to mention the crowds, the tide after the 3rd is generally not considered a big tide. Fortunately, I didn't go to the Tide Park to watch the tide. The viewing platform charges an additional 80 yuan per person. The first wave of tide is just one wave, and it takes about three minutes to complete. I went to Liangjiadun in advance to watch the tidal wave. It was not too big and there were many people, but it was better than the Tide Watching Park, and it was free. As for the first line of tide in Yanguan, we did not pull down the tide. We could also see the tide at Xiaoputuo Temple when we met unexpectedly. It is really not recommended to check in during the Tide Watching Festival. Road closures everywhere and tolls are just for watching the crowds. Let’s talk about the century-old city. Apart from the Confucius Temple, not much is left of the Tanah Lot Temple. The value of the tour is only the white marble door plate outside the door. Only one ten thousandth of the courtyard building inside has been preserved. The furnishings are just like a temple. There is no trace of the life of a wealthy family. Other ancient city walls are under construction, and we don’t know when they will be completed. In order to watch the tide, you can check in in other months. As for looking for historical monuments, we have to wait and see how quickly the Yanguan government can repair them. Anyway, today’s Yanguan travel experience is not very advanced in terms of software and hardware.

The shop is easy to find along the street. The ”small courtyard” at the entrance, surrounded by flowers and plants, is very cozy. It's directly opposite the entrance to Guanchao Shengdi Park, offering free admission before 7:30 AM and after 5:30 PM. The proprietress and her family are very friendly and welcoming, and will inform you of any precautions. The interior of the room is reminiscent of an old-fashioned two-star hotel, but the sanitation is exceptional. The flowers and plants outside the window, along with the clothesline, create a homely and comfortable feeling. We stayed on the third floor, which doesn't have an elevator, but the proprietress offered to help us carry our suitcases upstairs, which was very much appreciated. I suggest the proprietress install a wind shield on the air conditioner, as it would otherwise blow directly onto the bed.

During the National Day and Mid-Autumn Festival holidays, we took the kids to Yanguan to see the Qiantang River tidal bore. We chose this Haishi Hotel based on reviews, and it was a wonderful surprise! The hotel rooms were spacious, with balconies, exquisitely decorated, and the service was excellent! Located right at the entrance of the ancient city scenic area, hotel guests can enter and exit the area multiple times using facial recognition, or take a shuttle bus – very convenient! There's a restaurant called Guchengmen Restaurant downstairs; the reviews suggested the food was good, but it was too crowded, so we ate out instead. We'll try it again next time!

The online service arranged for us a room with a balcony on the 3rd floor. As soon as we entered, there was a strong smell of new renovation because the windows hadn't been opened. We kept the windows and balcony door open while we slept, and the smell was fine then. The duvet was a thick winter one, which was a bit too warm for the current weather. Another thing I have to complain about is that the entire scenic area is very large, but the shuttle bus only stops at the start and end points, not in between, which was really inconvenient and made for a lot of walking. We mainly came to see the tidal bore, and the forecast said it would be one meter high, but in reality, it was probably about a decimeter. Everything else was good. The room even had a small sterilizer for cups, meeting a 5-star service standard.

The room was very large and clean. The kitchen had a refrigerator and gas. There were basic kitchen utensils for simple meals. The community was very new and the environment was very good. The reception was warm and thoughtful. I also drank the boiling water from the reception desk. I was very happy.
