Hotels in Yanbian University/Yanji Xishichang, Yanji

Spotless hospitality, excellent cleanliness, especially thanks to a cleaning lady who was always so kind and warm. The location was perfect that a bus stop were the buses going to the Yanji airport and train station was only across the street from the hotel. Furthermore, it was just two stops ahead to Yanji Department Store as well as Yanbian University. No doubt for my next stay in Yanji at Ibis again!

While not particularly large, the hotel is well-equipped with everything one might need. Parking is available behind the hotel, but as it's a public lot, spaces can occasionally be tight. Its location is fantastic, offering convenient access to numerous dining and shopping options, and West Market is just a short walk away. The rooms were clean and tidy. A charming feature is the availability of traditional costumes in the lobby for guests to try on and take photos by the flower-adorned hotel entrance. All the staff, from the front desk to service personnel, were exceedingly polite and warm.

The facilities are quite new, and the ambiance is great. The views from the gym and restaurant are particularly outstanding. Everything was spotlessly clean, and any issues we had were handled promptly. Service was fantastic; the front desk staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful.

I rarely bother to leave hotel reviews, but this one truly deserves my time. After booking, the hotel proactively called to ask about my room preferences, which was a thoughtful touch for room assignment. I had expected a standard budget hotel, but upon entering, the room's cleanliness far exceeded my expectations. Purely from a hygiene standpoint, it could easily compete with four or five-star establishments. As someone with a moderate obsession with cleanliness, I found absolutely nothing to fault. Despite not being a brand-new hotel, there were no unpleasant odors whatsoever, which for me, neatly avoided the formaldehyde off-gassing issues common in new constructions. The room itself was incredibly spacious, easily twice the size of many 'renovated' hotels you see popping up everywhere these days.

This was the most expensive hotel during my trip to Northeast China, and unfortunately, it also offered the poorest value for money. Pros: A free minibar and an excellent location directly opposite the Water Market. It's also within walking distance of West Market, Women's World, and Yanbian University's internet-famous wall. Additionally, there's a park nearby with a beautiful night view and blooming lotus flowers. The breakfast spread was quite extensive. Cons: The facilities were outdated, rooms were quite cramped, and the layout was a bit strange. The most peculiar thing was the bathroom design; the doors to the toilet and shower opened directly into the main bedroom, with open gaps at the top and bottom, which severely compromised privacy and felt like it was part of the main living area. Cleanliness was also just average; the showerhead was quite dirty, and grime was visible in many neglected corners.

The first time I came to Yanji, I chose to stay at Xi'an. There were so many surprises. The lady at the front desk was very enthusiastic to help me plan the itinerary. The room was clean and tidy. Most importantly, it was very close to the West Market, the Floating Market, and the Internet celebrity wall. It was within walking distance. There were shopping malls around and it was convenient to take a taxi. The room price was very affordable. It was a very pleasant trip. I will still choose Xi'an next time!

The room was spacious, spotless, and well-equipped. West Market is conveniently located right downstairs from the hotel, so you can easily browse it whenever you like. Inside, you'll find a wide array of local specialty foods, including sundae (Korean blood sausage), spicy pork cartilage, and kimchi. It also sells traditional medicinal supplements like ginseng.

I was a little confused before coming here because I always like newer and larger hotels. Later, I thought about going to the Folk Custom Park to take photos the next day after arriving, so I decided to stay here on the first night, so I booked one night. Unexpectedly, it was completely beyond my expectations. Although the facilities are old, I have to say that, but they are very well maintained. The room size is OK, but everything is very complete. Since Yanji is not big, it is very convenient to go everywhere, so I booked this hotel for the next two days. The front desk was very enthusiastic, especially on the third night, the parent-child room we originally booked was gone. The hotel not only showed me other rooms, but also let me book the cheapest room. They arranged the floor I wanted for me, and gave me free breakfast. When I left, I gave a small lucky bag. Very considerate. Yanji is suitable for eating, drinking and taking photos, so the room is completely OK. The cost performance is very high. I praise it.

It was the negotiation season when we went there, so we were given a free upgrade and the room was quite big! The hotel is located next to the West Market, very close, and very convenient for buying local specialties. It is also very close to Xingdou Restaurant and Fengmao BBQ, and you can reach them on foot, which is very convenient! The service was very warm. When checking in, I was given a hot towel to wipe my hands, as well as frozen pears and hot tea. It happened to be my birthday when I checked out, so I was given birthday noodles for breakfast. If I want to eat seafood, the hotel can also help prepare it for me! ! Recommended, come to this restaurant next time you come to eat seafood in autumn!

I rarely write reviews, but I was lucky to come across this B&B this time. It made our family's stay very comfortable and enriched our travel experience in Yanji. We wanted to book a small courtyard room, but after it was fully booked, we booked a fruit forest room. Let me talk about the service first. The boss was very enthusiastic during the phone consultation and answered all questions. When we arrived at the residence, it had just rained heavily in Yanji and it was dark. The whole B&B looked quiet and stylish in the light rain. Let’s talk about the room facilities and hygiene. The room is very clean, the mattress, quilt and pillows are very comfortable. The boss also prepared a small box of fruit, disposable towels and toilet covers. The back door of the room faces the grape vine. I thought it would be really good during the day. It would be very pleasant to stay in this small courtyard for half a day. The cleanliness is the best among the B&Bs I have ever stayed in. Except for the slippers in the bathroom that don't look very clean, of course they just look bad, or they may be worn out, and the water drains too slowly when taking a shower. Everything else is fine. It is worth mentioning that there is an air-raid shelter and a viewing platform next to the B&B, and you can also pick some tomatoes and cucumbers. This must be praised.
