My two nights here were a perfect escape. The room felt like a retreat into calm. I especially loved the private baths, quiet, serene, and easy to access.
What made the stay truly unforgettable was the kindness of the staff. From the afternoon tea with a Japanese sweet served in the room to their constant thoughtfulness and gentle smiles, every detail made me feel welcomed and cared for.
My stay here will remain one of the most memorable parts of my time in Japan.
Though the room was compact, it was spotlessly clean, and the location was incredibly convenient for getting around. Right at the hotel's corner, there's a super delicious ramen shop that my child declared was the best noodles she'd ever had!
It's hard to review this hot spring inn. It's quite new, and the facilities are okay, but the wooden building creaks when the air conditioner is on on hot days. It creaked a few times in the middle of the night, preventing me from getting much sleep in the first half of the night, but that doesn't seem like a fixable problem.
As for the price, it's quite high for Tottori, but the food was mediocre. It was fresh, but dinner was overloaded with fish, accompanied by cold pumpkin soup. The fishy flavor was enhanced by the pumpkin soup, and the overall combination wasn't well thought out. Breakfast was even more shocking: a pile of pickles... no matter how beautiful the dishes, they were still pickles... and finally a small grilled fish. This is below average for inn dining.
The older waiters were generally quite helpful, but the younger ones weren't, and didn't greet each other very proactively.
I won't be going back.
Environment: The environment is good, and it's very close to Tottori Station, about a 5-minute walk. Facilities: The facilities are all good and acceptable, but it's an economy chain hotel, so I had appropriate expectations. There's also a hot spring bath, but only in one location. If it's the women's bath, then men can't use it, as the male and female bathing times are separated. Service: The service was good, and breakfast was quite tasty. They even had curry rice, so I enjoyed a hearty bowl of curry early in the morning.
The room is comfortable, with a separate toilet but no bathroom, so you can just take a bath in the hot spring. The hot springs are super comfortable. It seems that there is a beach next to it. The surrounding environment is comfortable. Free parking spaces available
Conan Fan: Bokoro Ryokan at Wangkoro Tower. Manga episode 69 and TV drama episodes 648 & 649, ”The Script of the Steam Room”: We went to investigate the ”crime scene” in the men's bath. It turned out the door leading to the ”locked room” was locked. The Conan fan said it was probably a precaution after the incident, and he was incredibly engrossed. Mr. Gosho Aoyama returns here every year, so the hotel has many manuscripts and a complete set of manga books. The Wagyu beef in Tottori is delicious, but for Conan fans, nothing is more important than being there in person.
The waitress, Ms. Yamada, was very attentive and even left us a note in Chinese. Highly recommended for Conan fans. Choose the hotel's package including breakfast and dinner; the meals are very plentiful (fresh ingredients, we ate until we were stuffed). There are also complimentary Tottori specialties in the room (biscuits, sweets, pear jelly). A suggestion: if you're soaking in the outdoor onsen, wear a hat, otherwise you might catch a chill afterward.
Please note that hotel check-out time is 10:00 AM. If you have booked your return train, you can choose a train departing after 10:30 AM. The hotel offers a pick-up and drop-off service, which can be booked in advance through Ctrip customer service. Pick-up to the hotel is at a flexible time before 6:00 AM, but drop-off time is fixed.
The hotel is relatively old, and the streets on both sides are very Japanese country style, very quiet and comfortable! The hotel is very close to the station, and there are many izakayas on both sides, each with its own characteristics. I ate at one, the sushi was very fresh, the wine was also very delicious, and there were many sashimi specialties of Hokuriku!
Second time I have stayed here. Great hotel, right beside the station. The hotel itself may seem a little outdated but it is very cozy. It is a 10 minute walk to a main street filled with restaurants and bars. About 5 minutes walk to the bus depot if you need to get to the sand dunes. Staff were very nice and polite and helpful
Overall, I was satisfied. The parking lot is large enough, and there are two lounge access hours. The hot spring closes at 11:00 PM. Breakfast may require queuing if there are many people, and the elevator may take a long time if there are many people. There are self-service water dispensers on each floor, which is very convenient.
This is the best hostel I've ever been for over 10 years!
I love this hostel that I can walk in the capsule without bowing down (my height is 157 cm. btw)
Share space is huge and cozy, feel like at home.
Wi-Fi is everywhere.

GGuest UserThe private bath room was booked, and the room and the pool were very clean.
I made an appointment for the pick-up one day in advance, and I saw the driver when I got out of the station. It took 15 minutes from Kurayoshi Station to the hotel.
The service attitude was very good, and they would lead and introduce the hotel facilities and various locations.
There is a supermarket directly opposite the hotel.

VValeriaKindest staff!! Very welcoming, helpful, warm and kind^^
After climbing Mt Daisen, my legs were sore and the wonderful hot Onsen really soothed and healed my whole body. It really refreshed me:)
Room was very clean, flawless, perfect air-conditioner.
They have me a ride to the bus stop after check out.
Overall, very satisfied. I wish I could have stayed here longer. The air was so fresh in Daisen, I already miss the air! I will definitely come back! Thank you very much for your warm hospitality ^_^
GGuest UserThis is a lakeside hot spring hotel with excellent facilities. All the staff members were friendly and helpful. The Japanese dinner served was great and the portions were generous. The breakfast was of self-service type with wide selections of Japanese (many with local ingredients) and western cuisines. Both the indoor and open air hot spring baths have excellent view of the Togo lake. Highly recommended.

LLvfeifeiIshanlou Iwasaki Hotel was the most comfortable stay we had during this trip. Because we were going to Conan Town, we chose the hot spring hotel here, thinking we could relax a bit. The transportation was a bit inconvenient. We took a taxi to the hotel, which was relatively expensive. The hotel is an old-fashioned Japanese-style room, the room is large, but the service is still very good, especially there is a dedicated aunt to help you, she is the one who prepares meals and baths (because the place is relatively remote, we booked (Meals are included) Maybe it’s summer and there aren’t many people bathing in hot springs. Hehe, it avoids embarrassment😅 However, there is a wild spring opposite the hotel, where local old men soak naked. As long as you are not embarrassed, others will be embarrassed😀 😀
GGuest UserRoom was clean and comfortable, breakfast was pretty nice considering the price of the hotel. Location was a bit far from yonago station which you do not have access to English ticket machines at Bakurōmachi Station, which caused a tiny hassle since it takes around a 10 minute walk from yonago station while Bakurōmachi Station takes only 2 minutes to get there. Overall would recommend this hotel for every aspect.
LLe Le 33The service was incredible. The whole hotel has tatami floor so you need to let the staff help to clean your baggage wheels and then take off your shoes before entering hotel. Hotel buffet dinner and breakfast were great.
