#InsomniaInExhibition Explore existence and emptiness through abstract art in the old house of Thewet with "Embodiment" off-site exhibition from Nova Contemporary Nova Contemporary by artist Latthaphon Kokiattikul "Embodiment" presents artworks that combine the concepts of perception and existence through an exhibition in an exclusive location, Thewet House, an old house on the banks of the Chao Phraya River, which creates an atmosphere that seamlessly connects the artworks with the historical space. The artworks in this exhibition are like "temporary guests" that merge and try to find a balance between the interior and exterior spaces. The installation of images on wooden frames that stretch from floor to ceiling reflects the Chinese legend of Pan Gu, the god who separated heaven from earth, which is linked to the idea of ​​the transition between the world of ideas and the world of objects. The perfection in the dimension of ideas according to Plato's Theory of Forms is brought to convey in the artwork that seems to be in the middle between the tangible and the intangible. The artist uses a delicate creative method and focuses on the instinct and movement of the body. Each piece reveals the rhythm and limitations of the poses. Some pieces show small, repeated brush strokes with a tiny brush, while others present simplicity and reduce details to a void that invites interpretation. We will see Thai cultural ideas and perspectives subtly integrated with Conceptual Art and Minimalism, especially the Buddhist concept that emphasizes non-attachment and emptiness.
